The best restaurants in Elstead and Thursley Waverley South East

Love this little cafe.... been many times. Breakfast, lunch or a slice of cake... of which you are spoilt for choice... never disappoints. The friendly service is always appreciated too. Excellent quiche today.... will be back soon for cake!

I have been coming to Sweetpeas for many years. The food is excellence with a good choice at a very reasonable prices.The service is outstanding & Amir & Monica always run a very good cafe & never fail to impress. I recommend the cooked breakfast & the carrot cake is the best I have ever tasted. The atmosphere is great & there are always happy customers to be found. The cafe is very busy & I would suggest booking a table at weekends when it is especially busy. Added bonus is the free car parking in the garden centre car park. An excellent cafe worth going out of your way to visit!

Very good choice and quality food. Have been a few times now r the service is always unfriendly. Would come more often otherwise.

Lovely traditional pub, which has a lovely feel about it, as soon as you walk in. There are stools at the bar, if you just want.a drink. We had lunch from the extensive and varied menu. I opted for the steak sandwich, which was excellent. It was served with sautéed mushrooms and onions. My companion had egg, chips and ham which was also top notch. The service was also very good, so thanks to the lady who looked after us. First visit and we'll certainly return to explore the menu some more.

Great location coffee shop with loads of inside and outside space Varied snack menu with some great looking cakes Slightly let down by the sourdough which seemed to be normal white bread and food just not-quite-there Needs a little more attention to detail and could be a legendary stop!

Have been going to the fleece for years and it has always been alright, the pub side of the restaurant is great but the food is letting it down. The prices have gone up and the portions have gotten very small, not to mention it all tasted the same. The starters used to be my favourite part of the meal, but felt like I was eating an overpriced takeaway, beige and bland. Overall a very expensive and disappointing dinner.

My family have had many excellent meals at this pub over the years. Last Friday we visited with two friends. My partially sighted friend ordered Moroccan lamb which did not say on the menu that it contained chillies. Had we had known that my friend would not have chosen it as she has a delicate stomach. Her husband had to remove them from her food. I had ham egg and chips. The eggs were so under done that they were inedible. The two men had calves liver with mashed potatoes which was were just warm. We mentioned it to the waitress who said “oh dear” and offered me one free latte. Very poor.

I have been staying with them for a long time and every time I stay they make me feel really welcome and comfortable. Worth staying and the food in restaurant is amazing as well.

We often pop in here during the summer with grandchildren. Always find it very good for brunch/lunch outside with the ducks. We popped in for Sunday lunch recently and had a very nice meal in pleasant surroundings. It was busy, but they found us a nice table downstairs. The food was very good, as was the service, so there were no complaints from us at all. Will visit again.

Meat tasted Off!!! You get a takeaway because you want to taste something you can’t cook at home! I reckon this was cooked in a Redundant horse stable that’s been Occupied by crack addict chefs. Thanks for the meal 👍🏻
