Went to Ramsgate just before midday and came across the Village Grill. The people running the restaurant were very friendly and my breakfast was exactly how I like it. They do fried bread, don't laugh or sound surprised but many places won't do fried bread but they do here. Whilst waiting for my breakfast the people running the Village Grill were lovely to all who visited many being addressed by name which show they have many regulars. I will definitely be going back and will be recommending them to my friends. See you soon Best wishes Horace

The food is delicious and very reasonable. The service is exceptional especially from Bev and her partner Trev who looks so good now that he’s wearing men’s clothes! 😁

Watery ice cream - yuck. Unfortunately I think the proprietors forgot to add the ice cream powder to the liquid today. Within 30seconds of having the cones the “ice cream” was melting and it was very watery tasting. It is advertised as Jersey ice cream which surely means it should be creamy?

Nightmare! Booked for my husbands birthday in mid May back in March. Travelled 60 miles and the restaurant is closed No advance notification at all. Truly disappointed

This is a great cafe for a family breakfast and the workers are nice and there are free lollipops for the little kids also different milkshakes like Oreo biscoff and kit kat

Excellent food prepared by lovely and friendly staff or owner. We have had some scampi and chips or Chicken and bacon wraps or other sandwiches and all the time, it was very good and no too pricey. The coffees are excellent too!

Friendly staff and an amazing selection of sweet and savoury treats. Highly recommended and will return whenever we're passing.

Called into Finbars for the first time and they had a set 2 course menu. As we weren’t too hungry, we asked if we could just order a main course and were told yes, no problem. The main course was lovely if a little sparse but when we asked for the bill we were charged for 2 courses. A total of £101.60 for 3 meals, 2 x small glasses of wine and 2 soft drinks. When I queried the bill, I was told I could have just the main but would be charged for the set 2 courses. Explaining that the waitress had not explained that, I got no apology and was begrudgingly offered £10 off my bill. I a new resident and its such a pity as I’m looking for good local restaurants and would love to be a regular but I won’t be going back

Absolutely terrible breakfast. Overpriced rubbish. I came about a year ago had a fly cooked with my mushrooms. Dog hairs in both sausage rolls I also had. So I thought a change of chef a year later I would try again. Big mistake. 15 mins after eating I started getting stomach cramps to the point I had to quickly drive home. Never again that’s it for me. Avoid like the plague

Not allowed to use the toilet for 8 years old child at 6pm for no customers! Just shouted at the mother and child

Popped in for breakfast this morning and was very disappointed with what I received. Only ordered 2 poached eggs, beans and a coffee. Took 20-25 mins to get my breakfast which was basically a dozen baked beans that were cold and 2 underdone poached eggs. Coffee was also not very hot. This cost me £5.30. Wasn’t impressed and won’t be back.

Came here for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and chatty. The coffee was delicious and my omelette was done to perfection. Meal was reasonably priced and I wasn't waiting long at all.

Here you can have a comfort breakfast like your mum would make and sit at the kitchen table to eat it . Aaahhh ! Just the place during a cold dog walk . Thank you to the mums cooking it for us .
