Was great to start with, good quality food, at a reasonable price. Then the old chap started praying at the till, the other staff told him to go out the back, but he refused, and then there was an argument in their own language. Terrible atmosphere.

This is a very good cafe are first visit! nice breakfast!, the food is cooked very nice ,the guys very polite to everyone more than helpful. Price's are lower than most around. They offer breakfast, lunch and Dinner options but just tell them what you fancy and they will make you something nice thats a good price . Thanks we will be back again

I have been coming to this Beano's for many years. It is a family led business. They are very friendly, polite, helpful and will serve you with a smile. You can sit inside or there are a couple of tables and chairs outside. This is very useful if you have your dog with you. I have taken my dogs here before. The meal portions are LARGE and freshly cooked to your specifications. They are particularly careful about meeting the needs of people with allergies. Every child gets a lollipop at the end of their meal. A very welcoming cafe who remember you for years.

I go every Sunday for my roast dinner. Lovely selection, good service and very clean. Food cooked just right.

Price has increased but still a good fried up if you're looking for good breakfast! Average price is £8 so not cheap Got a few tables inside so plenty of space! Would recommend! Can park your car at poundstretcher for 2 hours free, car park

Disgraceful service. Old man ordered take away and wanted to wait and sit down and they said they would charge him extra. Unbelievable. Also greedy with pricing.

Brilliant friendly service, 5 star hygiene rating on the door, clean and fresh smelling. Great food at really low prices, seats more than 30 plus outdoor tables for smokers, fast service and cooked to request, best in Margate, hands down. The Orignal Beanos cafe, do not confuse with the many copycats around Thanet.

The negative reviews here mention items not sold at this cafe and or at prices higher than they have . The most expensive meal on the menu, even with all ingredients prices having risen, is £8.50 (see my photos of menu) A standard Best beano breakfast including tea or coffee is STILL just £5.70 .. This is the ORIGINAL 'Best Beano' in Thanet, (not to be confused with copycats in Cliftonville or westgate) so don't belive any negative reviews, come check it out for yourself. Its not a restaurant, but it is a very decent cafe with a full Sunday roast menu, many dinner, brunch, breakfast and snack options. No they don't 'do' fancy coffee, just great working class grub (and coffee lol) . Ps this years photo of the owner and some of the staff in Santa hats is brilliant. Well done guys, see you all again soon. Oh, and Merry Christmas.

Exactly what you expect of a Beano. Not the most modern or stylish of cafes, but you were made to feel welcome.

Bacon egg and mushrooms, and a chef's breakfast to start our busy Sunday at over £11, I was still hungry after mine Quality reasonable, service pleasant and fast, but quantity for the money was not so good.

Had two breakfast today they were floating in grease, the decaf coffee was awful, couldn't eat the bread and butter or toast very cheap marg, the whole place needed a good clean including the loos and the ceiling fans would definitely not recommend, the tomato sauce had hardened so much it would not come out avoid big time no stars for them

This place was the worst please please don't come here. The food was bad the fish seemed of the chips were terrible and the service very very bad, very rude people. They even charge for boxes if you have extra left. The place was dark only opened the lights when more customers came. We had to remind them to bring our drinks. The worst place in marget to eat and horrible staff. Much better places to eat just need to walk a little down along the beach. EDIT: Well actually you are close to the beach, and if you read properly I said there are other nice places to eat along the beach! I have seen many comments that say the same and are true about the cafe. And your response is always very rude shame on you you blame the customers look at your service and food. You obviously think you are never at fault! Your business will fail one day!!!

Amazing service, food and incredibly clean!

Having not tried the other Beano Café I cannot confirm if this is the best one. However the food was very cheap and as you would expect from a place like this. The staff were also friendly and helpful. No toilet though!!!

i don't know how they get so many good reviews, i bought a salad ham stick, and a ham and cheese salad stick, £8, on the menu it says ham or cheese stick £2, salad 50p extra, somehow they said the extra ham was £3, i could have bought another stick with salad for that price, shame as I'm working nearby for the next 3 months, will buy from elsewhere. Stitching up customers that may come back isn't a good business idea. ok, please post the picture of the menu on here then please, whoever sold me the stick had to look at the board..i only state a fact, if you please send the picture of the menu on here and I'm wrong, ill delete it.

Delicious hot food, quick delivery, friendly service

Went here about a month ago and im still thinking about how delicious the food was..coffee was perfect, chips were on point and burger was damn near close to a burger king.. would travel to margate just to have it again 👍

It was disgusting. No butter on bread, egg had no yoke and you could hardly swallow it! An all milky coffee definitely wasn't all milk. It was a waste of money! When I mentioned it to them the cook came out and argued the toss with me! Dont go there!

We all want fresh food, reasonably priced [slams fist like Gordon Ramsey] and here is where you get it! I trotted down from putting my work up nearby and thought the food here was great and plentiful! Clean, freshly cooked and no dreadful tinned tomatoes (which are evil, let’s face it). Well done Beanos!

Lovely staff ,food is good as well. The only think I would suggest is maybe cleaning standard should be better. When I was there there was a bits of food on the floor ,it was morning time so they wasn't busy at all.Toilet needs a good deep cleaning, it littery put you off .They hasn't been clean weeks .Glad I went there after I finished my breakfast otherwise I wouldn't be able continue.

A varied menu of usual cafe food. Quick service by friendly staff. Food well cooked and served hot. Clean looking.

Used to love this place until I found a fried ant on my chips whilst eating, mentioned it to the bloke and he tried telling me it come off our table yet there was no ants to be seen on our table and it was dead and stuck to the chip, never offered a refund so we just got up and left! Will never eat here again!

Friendly staff, reasonable, good value food, will go again, my friend tells me their capucino was excellent - better than costa!

We'be been regulars for years they've been ready for to feed me at 7:00 when the baby's been up all night. They cheerfully served up half sized roast dinners when that was all my 3 year old wanted. They served up the same kid nothing but Jam rolly pollys and ice cream at 11:45 for a year after that. They don't mind at all that my boyfriend and teenager invented their own regular sandwich (bacon, sausage, black pudding and cheese). Thanks Beano. Always there when I need you to feed my house of ravenous boys.

All the staff talking foreign language! Rude, we went to use the ketchup and said we have to buy it. Bad experience and bad food.

Lasagne was not home made, but frozen from the shop.

It's OK but the service was slow and but pricey.
