The best restaurants serving British food in Cosham Portsmouth South East

I have been here quite a few times on my daily commute and whilst waiting for my order, saw the sticker to rate them on TA. I thought to myself ‘self, let’s rate them!’ I always order a bacon and egg roll for breakfast. I’m always asked if the roll should be buttered, any sauce and whether the egg is set or runny. These morning treats set me up for the day and it is difficult to find a better bap. These morning treats ladies are always friendly and chatty and will give this the highest recommendation possible. Well, it's worth a visit. Food is fresh and good. Staff extremely helpful and clean.

7 of us go to Nicos every Friday lunchtime. The staff are friendly . There is a varied menu so all 7 of us can have different things to eat if we choose. My personal favourite is the Spanish omelette, which is lovely. The meals are reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this cafe

Nice cafe with lots of seating. Clean and tidy, friendly staff Lovely selection of food to choose from. Very efficient cleaning after every table vacated ready for the next customers. You get a proper milky milkshake 💗 not those thick ice-cream sundaes that some places serve up. Delicious Hot Chocolate with cream if you want it. Toilets on premises.

Well worth the extra few miles I travelled to have my tea here with a beautiful pitcheress back ground the locals are lucky to have

We visit the harbour lights regularly, we love it. The staff are always great and efficient, and the food is delicious. The new cocktails go down a treat too.

The hotel was as expected. Our main is was the bar/restaurant area, after returning from a family funeral, we stopped for drinks with family. It was absolutely freezing, paying £30 for 4 drinks and sat in our coats! The area was also so brightly lit it was uncomfortable.
