The best restaurants serving British food in Sandown South Isle of Wight South East

Pretty good food and great location. Friendly service. Nice decor. One thing noted about service, was when our drinks were delivered, the waitress handed the drinks out with her fingers holding the rim of our glasses. Was a little off putting. Other than that, we will return.

I had the Liver & onions on the specials board. It came on plate with a high lip so the rich onion gravy didn’t spill. There was so much Liver & mash I struggled to finish it. The meal was amazing so I did get through it eventually. 10/10 as always at Flannagans

Came to the The Old Corner Bank twice while in The IoW for a few days. 100% positive comments from the 4 of us. Nothing was too much trouble, staff all polite, friendly and so helpful. Food was excellent, a good range of dishes, with some varied and tasty specials. The Cod and Chips is a must have - huge Cod, lightly battered, no skin or bones. All meals were served hot and nicely presented Thank you to all the team for 2 excellent and fun evenings We will be back

Really beautiful coffee shop and a nice stop off whilst in Sandown. Nice decor and a good range of food on offer. Would definitely stop here again

Has never encountered this horrible experience before. Staff where a tinny bit rude and food took way too long to arrive, Fish goujons looked over cooked and gressy and tasted like they been cooked in cheap oil that hasn't been changed in like 2 weeks. Never again.

The best and most affordable food place to dine at for breakfast and lunch. My group visit for breakfast which is filling and delicious, I had the 'make your own' breakfast. Lovely service, cool placemats displaying history of Isle of Wight, perfect for tourists and locals.

Great gluten free options and so tasty , we will be back on our next visit, shame winter opening times are short just 3 days a week.

Popped by for a Hot Drink & Snack after walking the dog on the beach. Very friendly staff, very welcoming and nice hot drinks which were reasonably priced for the size of the mugs. We definitely recommend visiting.
