6 of us enjoyed fabulous toasties, Sausage rolls and baguettes in the sun, outside this fantastic little street cafe. The coffee was top notch and my daughter loved her Ice tea. The team were very helpful which led to my Mum purchasing some of their local IOW goods from selection of jams, biscuits, alcohol and cheeses. Great value, nice people and perfect location.

"Not been there since it changed hands" "It was really good but haven't been there since the old people left" was what we were told. Well, as a real fussy bugger about my food, let me tell you we're very pleased that we went to Mojacs tonight as it was fab! We had the scallops and the king prawns as starters, both were cooked to perfection. I was hesitate about the apple and parsnip puree that came with the scallops as thought it would be too sweet but not at all. We had the lamb chops and the pork belly (from the specials board) and again, they were both delicious and cooked fantastically well. Don't take my word for it, try it yourself as you will not be disappointed

The food is sublime. We had pea soup which sounds boring but was so tasty, liver and bacon (starter and only to be had if you have an enormous appetite), belly pork and honey and chocolate duck. There is a real quality to the ingredients and such care with preparation. We followed this up with cherry crepes which had exactly the right amount or tart and sweet, and a crĆØme brĆ»lĆ©e which gave the promised cold custard under a cracking sugar top. The decor does not encourage anyone to go in but you need to see beyond. There was no background music and as we were the only ones in there it felt very quiet. The loos need an update. The waiter is keen and attentive, with a good sense of humour. Ignore the decor and savour the food.

Even though the rooms only have 1 bedroom, they do have a pull-out sofa. They have also upgraded the bathroom and painted. We had a great view of the beach ā±ļø! The only down side, it's located on Ocean Blvd, and during peak season it can get very loud with all the cars revving their engines.

The food was fabulous, on Tuesdays they currently offer gluten free which was perfect for my daughter. The menu was a giggle to read and the service quick and friendly. They also offered great chicken nuggets for our non fish lover as well. Really great - would heartily recommend.

After reopening again in 2023 after its closure in 2022 everything seemed to be going well until late in 2023 when despite not having any information that it had closed, it shut one night never to reopen. No notices in the windows. No announcement like last time to tell their loyal customers that they'd decided to close down. And now it seems it HAS closed down & is being turned into flats! Well, there's a lot of unhappy people from over the last 30 years who would have liked to have been told š Bad form Chip Ahoy....

Oh my word! Having been pulled in by the kerb-appeal of all the delicious-looking delights in the window, my partner and I hoped to find something nice for lunch. How disappointed we were....... This verged on a blend of Fawlty Towers and a Karen's Diner. There are warning-galore, all written on paper bags stuck over the walls and on the display areas. "Do not touch, this is not self-service, don't fiddle with the toaster settings, children and knives don't mix, we are not trained fire-fighters, no toilets here.....", all headed up by a small, rather stroppy and officious tyrant of a woman! I wondered what we had stumbled upon so headed for Tripadvisor and all was revealed! The reviews don't lie! I then amused myself over a bowl of mediocre soup and unremarkable bread, by reading the words of previous customers. I CONCUR! We ate our lunch squashed onto a pew with other equally bemused/ confused/ amused diners and made a speedy exit - my partner more speedy than me as he didn't want to risk her wrath at the till, heaven-forbid he did something wrong! I'm still not quite sure what we experienced and I don't think I'll return. Go for a nosy if you have broad shoulders and fancy taking on Miss Trunchbull of the bakery world!
