The best restaurants serving British food in South East

Siempre estoy en busca de un gran desayuno todo el día honrado en inglés. Y qué sorpresa de encontrar una delicia en Gardner Street en el North Laine. Tengo la impresión de que Yum es mejor conocido como un yogur bar (que stock Lick yogur congelado) - pero también tienen súper caseros sopas, sándwiches tostados, desayuno y bacon envuelve. Es un lugar acogedor sin pretensiones con sólo tres o cuatro mesas. Mi mujer pidió el brécol y sopa de Stilton con tostadas, chorizo y una tostada de pan integral; tuve el desayuno todo el día (huevo frito, dos salchichas, dos lonchas de bacon, tres setas frescas, alubias, un brindis Patty y marrón patata frita). Podría haber tenido una taza de té incluido pero estaba lleno. Mi esposa pronunciado la sopa excelente; he probado, y estoy de acuerdo. En mi lado de la mesa: comida perfecta, gran parte. Teníamos el servicio es amable y rápido de propietario Romeo. Y teníamos cambio de 10 libras. Sin duda el mejor desayuno que he tenido en Brighton. Volveremos para el yogur congelado.

Mi visita a este establecimiento fue una delicia la experiencia culinaria del chef Dave es la segunda mejor y comida gratis de lunes a viernes para aquellos de la edad de 90 años, acompañados de ambos padres :)

Excellent local butcher's breakfast boxes and Sunday lunch are second to none yummy.we use them most days with complete confidence xx

Serving great breakfasts and lunches, with a very friendly staff who made us most welcome. Small outdoor seated area is great, when the sun shines.

We had just done a great walk on the area and stopped here to get some desserts. The rocky road and brownies were amazing. Great little store.

De los pasteles a los batidos, quedé impresionado. No es muy caro y sigue siendo un buen lugar para disfrutar de algunas delicias veganas.

Had breakfast baguettes with coffee. Tasty and freshly prepared by a friendly member of staff. A welcome result having been let down by the premier inn breakfast!

Lovely service, real English atmosphere and realy good breakfast. We were to late for dinner when we came, but they fixed up something anyway and it was realy good.

It always a pleasure to visit this very friendly tea room and enjoy some of the wonderful cakes, as well as the well cooked breakfasts and lunches that are on offer. Ben’s lemon drizzle and poppy seed cake that I enjoyed yesterday was food for the gods. I know of no other such business that when they make a hot chocolate that you get a cup of it, and alongside it a jug of the same; both for a very reasonable price. Brilliant customer service and I can’t wait to go back for another visit. The venue can also be hired for private functions and I often notice as I drive past in the evenings that such events are taking place. Dennis Usher

My wife and I recently had a function at All Saints Chapel and if we could give it more stars...we would. Ever since our first meeting with Dariana she has gone above and beyond to make our function the most special time possible, and it truly was. The chapel was the only venue we saw and instantly fell in love with it - if you're looking for the wow factor....this place has it in spades!! We were meant to have our function in May 2020 but due to covid this was put on hold - however Dariana was just amazing - she kept everything on hold without charging extra like so many other venues we read about had done with other functions - nothing is too much trouble for this lady, she is simply first class. We had the most exceptional afternoon tea, the building looked stunning and it was the most perfect day in every way possible. Would highly recommend this wonderful place for your function. Fantastic range of cakes all made on site. Slices, or large cakes for Parties, Weddings Birthdays etc All fresh and very reasonably priced. All to take away.
