Very friendly, attentive staff, nice choose of food on the menu, well cooked lovely meal, well worth the money. Will definitely be going back.

Well worth a visit and I would highly recommend the steak pie.

Good to find a pub with regular opening hours and really promoting cask beer. The Mosaic seasonal brew was on top form.

Awful experience at The Ship. Under new management and a new menu, we thought we’d give it a try and wish we hadn’t bothered. Large group of men at the bar were incredibly loud, argumentative and using foul language. Not something I want around my children. A woman was openly vaping at the bar and not challenged by staff. It appeared that these are regular drinkers at this pub which would explain the lack of families eating out here. A worker poured one man a drink of something and said, ‘here, try this…’ and did not charge him??? Food was below standard and expensive for what you got. My husband ordered chicken and chorizo and literally got 3 pieces of chorizo on a tiny chicken breast and a teaspoon of sauce. I’d specified my son has a dairy allergy at the booking but this was not even mentioned by the staff. We left as soon as we’d eaten. A real shame because we have eaten here previously before it was taken over and it was lovely. The vibe of this place is totally wrong for the ‘family pub’ it claims to be.

We often visit for the breakfast deal, it’s so affordable, the staff are lovely and it’s dog friendly. Would highly recommend for snacks, meals, and best of all cake deals

Puedo estar aquí con mi nieta de 3 años. Le pedí una comida para niños, 4 nuggets veganos, unas 10 papas fritas y una pequeña cantidad de frijoles. 00 . ! ! Asqueroso. ! Luego tuve que pedir una bebida que no venía con comida, un pequeño cartón de jugo de manzana, y £ 2 extra. 00 . ! ! 8 libras en total, y la señora mayor detrás del mostrador, muy grosera. Park es hermoso café es trabajo que una estación de servicio de autopista. ¡Nunca más! Por cierto, el plato de la foto es del tamaño de un platillo de té.

Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos explorando esta parte de la ciudad cuando decidimos pasar por The Jailor's Barrel Pub , hemos estado aquí antes en viajes anteriores a Lancaster, siempre lo pasamos bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita a aquí. Un pub de gran aspecto , el interior es magnífico, muy tradicional, decoración y mobiliario pubby, un bar de servicio de aspecto fresco domina la sala principal y hay un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este pub, es solo un pub realmente bueno para relajarse. Estábamos aquí en una tarde de marzo amargamente fría, pedimos pale ale's ( Cervecería Lancaster ) , estos se sirvieron en excelentes condiciones, nos relajamos y empapamos de la gran vibra en este concurrido y popular pub mientras bebíamos nuestra pale ale's. Mi cerveza pálida era muy buena, una cerveza pálida crujiente, dorada llena de sabor y muy fácil de beber, era tan bueno estar en un pub tan encantador disfrutando de una cerveza de calidad y se sentó con mi hermano gemelo, mejor compañero de cerveza del mundo. Ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestra cerveza pale ale aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a The Jailor's Barrel Pub nos lo pasamos muy bien. El bar del carcelero es fácil de ubicar a lo largo de Market Street. El horario es, De lunes a viernes, 4. 30 pm es 11 pm. Sábado y domingo, mediodía hasta medianoche. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona o planeando un viaje a Lancaster.

Omg amazing. Looked for"after work" treat before heading home, short listed 4 places, but this menu stood out from the rest! Never been before. Certainly wasn't disappointed, beautiful building, met by lovely manager Joseph such a great character and helpful. Squid was outstanding, what a plate full, wow, followed by main menu pork belly......luscious, lip smacking tasty food, not to forget the divine tasty gravy!! Friend had the mushroom and said tasty and enjoyable followed by the mahoosive steak pie 🥧 what a size, but she thoroughly tucked in and enjoyed. Treated ourselves to mini pudding and coffee at the end as we deserved it!! ☕️ 🧁 would most definitely return!! 🍽 🍷 🍺 thankyou and compliments to the chef!!

Fuimos a almorzar pero deseamos no haberlo hecho. Abajo está oscuro y sombrío, arriba más brillante. No hay nada que le diga que usted pide en el mostrador, después de haber sido ignorado durante 10 minutos asumimos que eso era lo que se requería. Tenía panini de brie y arándano que era pobre. El brie era abundante pero no muy derretido y la salsa de arándanos estaba claramente dollped sin ceremonias y en exceso de un frasco para que fuera enfermizo dulce había tanto de él y estaba por todo el exterior, así como el interior del sándwich por lo que era muy pegajoso de comer.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to eat at the Clock Tower Cafe in Morecambe and I must admit - it was amazing! I ordered classic fish & chips and from the first bite I knew I had come to the right place. The fish was fresh, juicy, perfectly prepared, and the coating was light, crispy and light - completely different from the heavy, greasy coating that can be found in many other places. You can see (and feel!) that the oil is changed regularly, which makes a huge difference in taste and quality. The portion was large, and the way of serving was aesthetic and inviting - everything looked and smelled like a home-made, fresh meal. Additionally, the fries are perfectly browned, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with no trace of excessive fat. The staff is also worth mentioning - a young team, but very well organized, polite and helpful. The service was fast, smiling, ready to answer questions and ensure the guests' comfort. The place itself is clean, well-kept, with a pleasant view that perfectly complements the atmosphere. A perfect place for a quiet lunch, but also something quick and tasty on the fly. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Morecambe - either for a quick meal or to relax with a view. I will definitely come back!

Very disappointed with the trip. A woman called Tracy ruined it for me with her behaviour towards her colleagues. She was having a go at one guy, who was working hard and the way he was dealing with us was great. I don't know if it was because he is black. But her behaviour is unacceptable. I have been on this train before and its not the first time she has done it. She shouldn't even be working on the train behaving like that.
