The S4A Café is bright and welcoming with an open kitchen and excellent professional chef and team. It's a great place for lunch with work colleagues, friends or family. Kids are welcome and there is a children's menu. Did I mention the cakes? A great range available including gluten free and vegan options. Try it out... You won't be disappointed!

We recently celebrated our child’s 7th birthday at the Bate Hall, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The venue was accommodating, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the room set up. The food was another highlight. The staff offered a thoughtful menu that pleased the kids. Overall, Bate Hall provided a fantastic environment for our celebration. The space was clean, safe, and perfectly suited for a kids’ party, with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves. We received so many compliments from the parents about the venue and the wonderful time they had at the bar enjoying drinks, food and playing pool! I highly recommend Bate Hall for any children's event. Their outstanding service and lovely food make it a top choice for a memorable and hassle-free party. Special thanks to Sue & Dale

Great pub with tremendous staff. Family wedding this weekend and couldn't have enjoyed myself more!!

Went in last night as couldn’t be bothered cooking , not been in there since I was a kid. Food was incredible , portions were great too. Jordan was lovely and service was excellent!! Thank you so much will be going again

Nice real beer and food. Cosy and friendly. Not quite as good under Buxton Brewery cut good to see it re-open. 04-07-24 Sadly closed again with stripped out fittings and furniture with a sad now on the window from Buxton Brewery saying we tried 😥

If you're looking for the best chicken wings, you should definitely try "Dixy chicken in Macclesfield". They serve amazing wings that are very crispy. The grill items are fantastic 👍 I really enjoyed the food 🥘 they serve

Fantastic place and really lovely staff. Made the disabled chap who I was supporting feel so welcome, wish more places were like this. Massive portions as well. 🙌
