The best restaurants serving British food in Daneshouse with Stoneyholme Burnley North West

Visited on a lunch break today to try one of your pizzas. Very polite and friendly service, due to lunch rush hour I was told to collect my order after 20 minutes and it was hot and ready on time! Delicious pepperoni pizza, didn't have one for years and it was excellent. I will be back to try more. Thank you!

It is a real treat to enjoy amazing food. Me and my son share the mixed grill and love it when we can. It isn't fast food but it is worth it.

We visit the Mechanics for many reasons, it is amazing. The town has this superb venue. The restaurant is perfect for meeting friends for lunch, and in the evening for pre theatre dining. Our town has this facility for us, and it's well used, we are lucky to have it. Thank you

Friendly local cafe with freshly cooked food. I had a large cooked breakfast with a pot of tea. Nicely done fried eggs, 2 sausages, black pudding, baked beans, three rashers of bacon with a good portion of mushroom. The icing on the cake was a portion of fried bread plus toast. I wish more places offered fried bread! Staff were very friendly and you can tell this is a liked local British “caff” as other patrons were welcomed whilst I was eating. Plastic tablecloths were clean and tidy, and my tea pot was topped up with hot water. Don’t expect the ritz, but do expect to be full when you leave. Worth a visit.

During the thirty years I visited, I never had a bad meal. The staff, Kieron and Linda were fantastic. I am so sad I shall not be able to visit there again.

Very nice place & owner until there's a problem & then you're not acknowledged with his normal friendly welcome as Hello Friend!! Gone in since for Takeaway a couple of times & won't even look or acknowledge me However took my takeaway order today & again no communication Gone from brilliant to not great, & today my takeaway is normally full & didn't today fill the bottom of the polystyrene tray There was a mix up a few months ago & who ever right or wrong he doesn't give me the time of day now

Had pre order a bottomless brunch for 19 and a seperatetable for 5 for my sisters hen do the staff were really friendly and jess did really well the food was really good aswell

The best new addition to Burnley! Wonderful spot for coffee, remote working, dinner, tapas. Always friendly staff. Very interesting menu and dishes are always brilliant. Amazing decor.

1st time in this pub and I was blown away. Not only was it super friendly. The range of beers on offer was a great suprise. I even sampled some of the bar snack to help soak up the beer. I can highly recommend the Salt and pepper chicken goujons. I will definitely be returning. Fabulous little find.

Avoid!!!!!!!!!! The staff are absolutely awful. They are rude and on absolute power trips. Completely ruined a family evening.
