During the thirty years I visited, I never had a bad meal. The staff, Kieron and Linda were fantastic. I am so sad I shall not be able to visit there again.

My friend and I recently visited Cafe Bridges for a Full English Breakfast. The price of the breakfast (just over £4) also included a filter coffee. Firstly the sausage wasn't the highest quality and the bacon was hard. The beans were stewed and looked like they had been re-heated several times. The mushrooms were rubbery and again looked like they had been re-heated in a microwave. The service was very pleasant and the staff helpful but I had high hopes for this place but we left disappointed.

The food is home made well cooked and plenty on the plate. No alcohol but good special meals, sandwiches, and jacket potatoes. Much better value than the usual pubs in Burnley. Honest value for money. Will visit again. Get in early to get a table

Visited today as wanted a change from our usual cafe(belisimos)I pass this cafe all the time when coming out of the car park so we thought we would give it a try, walked in through the takeaway part then into a small room ,only 7 tables of different sizes in there but we were able to be seated without having to wait, very good menu, lots of specials on the blackboard, homemade pies, lasagne, quiche, chips were'nt homemade but not everything can be I suppose ,from the conversations between customers and staff I guess they have lots of regulars here, little oldey worldly cafe,I had the homemade cheese n onion pie which was very nice, very friendly lovely ladies that serve you,my only negative is that it was'nt very warm in there, but they do have the front shop door open all the time so that's why,(don't know why it's winter)we will be back ,I could not believe that I had change from £10 for two hot main meals and 2 teas, good prices excellent value for money.

I visited Bertram's as I was attending The Woodland Spa. The food was lovely. My cocktail was tasty. One thing I would suggest required improvement, was the time it took to receive your orders. We
