Brambles Tea Rooms in Burnley

Friendly local cafe with freshly cooked food. I had a large cooked breakfast with a pot of tea. Nicely done fried eggs, 2 sausages, black pudding, baked beans, three rashers of bacon with a good portion of mushroom. The icing on the cake was a portion of fried bread plus toast. I wish more places offered fried bread! Staff were very friendly and you can tell this is a liked local British “caff” as other patrons were welcomed whilst I was eating. Plastic tablecloths were clean and tidy, and my tea pot was topped up with hot water. Don’t expect the ritz, but do expect to be full when you leave. Worth a visit.

Wow. What a loverly piping hot home cooked breakfast. Food quality spot on, table staff very helpful, an all in top choice to pay them a visit.

been today after reading reviews must say we wasn’t disappointed i had homemade cheese pie chips and beans wife hade breakfast we both said best we have had we will be visiting this a lot in future

Wednesday May 4th Brambles Tearooms, Burnley. This came reccomended by Johnny at work. Its not open on a Sunday so I made an exception and had a mid-week cooked breakfast. It's a lovely little Cafe and as I was the first in I pretty much had the place to myself. I chose a seat and had a look what the breakfast offer was. I opted for the "Full English" I could have gone for a larger version and doubled up on a few items but the regular size was already really good value and included toast and a pot of tea. When I ordered and said I didn't want an egg I was asked if Id like something to replace it. It's surprising how many places don't bother offering and it's these little things that separate the good places from the average ones. The Lady who served me, was also the Lady that cooked my breakfast and everything was cooked perfectly. The tomato was from a tin which I know splits opinion but personally I don't mind Tinned or fresh grilled. The Black Pudding was well cooked but maybe a bit on the thin side, the bacon was a nice thickness and had good flavour. There was only one sausage on the plate but sometimes that's enough and if you were really hungry you could always go for the bigger option. The sausages are supplied by Farnworth's in Whalley so you know they're going to be great quality and packed with flavour - I wasn't disappointed. I would have preferred a bigger teapot so I could have squeezed another brew out of it but other than that it was a great breakfast. I would reccomend Brambles Tearooms on Ormerod Street in Burnley for a Full English Breakfast.

We’ve been coming to Brambles for quite a few years now and we’ve never been disappointed. We are always greeted with a warm welcome - the service is speedy and the food is great. Don’t take my word for it, go and find out for yourselves. You won’t be disappointed.

This is still the best Cafe in Burnley. Homemade food, large portions and cheap prices. Thrives on repeat customers and I'm pretty sure that some customers visit daily.

Run by the owner this is a very pleasant little café where you are always made to feel welcome.The prices are more thanreasonable.I have been going there for years.

Seems like an ordinary town centre cafe,Brambles sells tasty ,what I call proper food at reasonable prices.Always worth the visit.

We visited Brambles for breakfast last Saturday as we were in Burnley for a football match later in the day. We previously visited over two years ago and just had to go back. Again, the food was superb and all the staff so friendly. My husband had the large full breakfast which was enormous. I plumped for scrambled egg on toast which was great as well. We were due to go back for breakfast on Monday but unfortunately my husband had caught a cold so we went home early. However, we will be back. Thank you so much.

Popped in for lunch at the suggestion of my granddaughter. We both had a toasty, they were very tasty with good quality filling and importantly nice bread. All the food seen served at tables around us looked and smelled good and judging by the empty plates afterwards tasted good. The surroundings and furnishings are tired, but if good tasty food at a reasonable price is what you are after then highly recommended.

Had a nice full english, could not fault it. Swapped bacon for extra sausages, no problem! Daughter swapped bacon for extra egg, no bother, very nice lady running it, I wish her the very best!

Somebody in the town recommended this cafe to me, I didnt even know it existed. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. I had the cheese and onion pie which was delicious and the homemade chips were to die for. All served by pleasant staff and the price was very reasonable. Will be visiting again.

been here many many times and tried just about everything on the menu. everything i have had has been delicious and there is not one negative thing i can say about this place. dont take any notice of the odd bad review. trust me, you wont be disappointed. burnleys little gem

The owners are very nice.the cafe is a little cramp and uncomfortable . The food is ok I do like the chicken curry but pies are microwaved and soggy. And sometimes the. Sausage is under cooked.

Come here regularly. Fab little cafe thats tucked away from the main stretch. Lots of regular customers which speaks for itself. Good food, good service and beats any of the other eateries in Burnley hands down.

Mi pareja y yo fuimos anteriormente hoy en día y me pareció un lugar muy agradable para comer. No tienes que coger mi palabra. Sólo estuvimos sábado en 5 minutos (en la que el tiempo que ya habían servido y tenía una taza caliente de té en la mesa) y el café ya se empiezan a llenar! Se puede decir que esto es un café muy popular y no me extraña! El personal fue muy amable y nos dieron una cálida bienvenida! La comida era muy buena y tenía un precio bastante. Nos aseguraremos de nuevo de visita!

Me and some friends came across this place whilst christmas shopping, and so glad we did. Great choice on the menu and everything we had was fab! Only a small place but appeared to have plenty of regular customers. Will be visiting again.

I've visited this café a number of times over the last 2 years, with family and friends, and I love it. The food offered is across the board, from speciality meals to ordinary full English Breakfasts, Vegetarian as well, cheese/beans on toast, and others, plus a number of Desserts. The staff are always very friendly and chatty, and make no fuss for the room taken up by my walking frame, or from my granddaughter's pram. The prices are very reasonable too.

My sister and I often pop in for lunch. Its warm, friendly and tasty food. Just right when you have been shopping or just about to embark on it. Try it - but don't like it too much or we might not get a seat next time :-)

Room not rooms, pleasant staff , value for money , good grub.A little treasure in the centre of town with a regular clientele which shows the proof of the pudding is in the eating so to speak.

After a long drive on a Saturday morning popped in here with the family for breakfast. Nice little place with friendly staff. Breakfast was great.

This is a super café serving wonderful food. Enjoyed our lunch so much we returned for a full English breakfast the next morning. The staff were very friendly and the food such good value for money. A little gem!

Visited this cafe whilst attending a meeting in the town. Had the homemade broth and dumplings which was delicious and just like my grandma used to make! Not bad at £2.80 including a teacake. Will visit again.

I come here more or less every saturday morning for a full english breakfast. Its fantastic and only costs £4.10 which includes toast and a pot of tea. On odd occasions have been elsewhere but not a patch on Brambles!

This is a great cafe and very welcoming, it is great homemade food and also cheap!All the staff at brambles are very polite and I would highly recommend this cafe to friends. Best cafe by far I have ever been to for the cost and the standard of the food! Especially braised steak and chips or the breakfast with 2 bacon, sausage, egg, mushrooms, tomato, beans, black pudding, 2 toast and a tea for just under £4!, who ever says any different must not be telling the truth it's super!! I don't have one bad word to say about this place.

Had a lovely lunch in this little cafe whilst visiting a friend in Burnley. Everything served promptly and was delicious. Would definitley recommend a visit if you are in the town.

I went to the Brambles Tea Rooms,with my mother as a treat before Xmas.It was recommended by a friend of mother.The waiteress was very rude,could not care less about customer service.Asked for something which was on menue,but told in a very aggresive manner that it was not available,not a problem.Chose something else.The meat in the steak and ale pie was like rubber very tough to eat,chips were very undercooked.Pot of tea was like dish water.Would certanilly stay away from the establishment.

Visited this little cafe today with a friend for the first time. Good menu, friendly service and great value for money. We ordered the chilli with half rice and half chips and the mince beef and onion pie with chips. Highly recommend this little gem and will be visiting again very soon.

I come here with a friend pretty much every week either on a monday or a tuesday. The staff are very polite! The food is quick, and cooked properly. The atmosphere is nice. Some sweet old ladies always there talking to each other.Whats different about this place for me is that the staff who I have spoken to have taken a seemingly genuine interest in me. The conversation wasnt fake it was completely genuine.Would recommend

Small cafe but has newspapers available, customer toilet and is comfortable. I had the morning offer of tea and fruit teacake for £1.45. Tasty and excellent value.

This friendly little cafe serves up the best breakfast in Burnley. We visit about once a month and for £4 including tea or coffee, it's a real bargain too. You will not be disappointed.

Not the biggest of cafe's in Burnley but what excellent food is turned out by the proprietor and her staff.I had the large breakfast which comprised of 3 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 black pudding, 2 eggs, beans, tomato, mushrooms, 3 rounds of buttered toast and a pot of tea, all for an AMAZING £5.10 yes £5.10!All cooked fresh to order, waitress service included! Winner!From entering I was politely served with a pot of tea in front of me within minutes! And the breakfast followed shortly after Compared to my experience at roaming roosters in Padiham, Brambles wins hands down on quality, service and most definitely price! Arrived in Burnley in middle of snow storm. Cold wet and extremely hungry. Lisa made us very welcome and the food was home made and very tasty. Value for money 2 main courses and drinks £11.

If you want good quality home made food then look no further than Brambles it might be small but the welcome and friendly staff plus the food makes it a nice relaxing dining experience from a cup of tea and a home made scone to a full english this is worth a vist.
