The best restaurants serving British food in Hexham East Northumberland North East

I love an independent coffee shop and the Garden Coffee House is a real gem. Grant and his team are friendly and welcoming, the cappuccinos are excellent, and the avocado and feta on sourdough is fantastic. They also host fun, unique events—we’ve done early morning yoga with breakfast and can't wait for tarot card readings over lunch. So much caffeinated fun!

Great food, great coffee. Went for lunch and it was quite busy but managed to grab a table. There is a good variation of items on the menu, plenty of cakes on offer also. Staff were very friendly. Wasn't the cheapest but it was good quality food

the pub looked great menu looked good lady behind the bar was very welcoming, BUT the male barman (i guess the owner?)if not i would sack him ! DEFINATELY NEEDS TO RETIRE !! VERY RUDE SORRY BUT HE WAS , will look through the window next time to see if hes behind the bar and if he iS WE WONT BE GOING IN !!

Quaint and cosy. Friendly staff. Beer brewed on site is superb. Eclectic menu - I had the pheasant casserole and my wife had the mince and dumplings - both freshly cooked, hot and flavoursome. Nothing to complain about: will return: soon.

Nice clean modern hotel, plenty of parking. Cafe Bar food was excellent and the meal deal was excellent priced at £15 for an evening meal. Breakfast was absolutely amazing for £9.99 all you can eat. Everything you could think of and proper thick bacon, tasty sausage. All staff were amazing and would certainly recommend as best Travelodge I stayed at.
