The best restaurants serving British food in Sutton London

This is a lovely welcoming cafe. I went on my own and did not feel out of place. The team serving me were very polite. I had a lovely sandwich and a latte. Definitely recommend it.

We recently dined at The Clink Restaurant in Sutton and I can't say enough good things about our experience. The staff were warm and welcoming and our waiter, Luke, was friendly, efficient and gave us a good laugh. It wasn't just the service that impressed us, it was the quality of the food that made an impact. Whilst the selection of dishes is fairly small, each is well thought out and the flavours are punchy and distinctive. We were particularly impressed to discover that a lot of the produce was grown on site, including the aubergines for our miso aubergine main, and the celeriac for our celeriac soup. Luke's impeccable service, carefully curated selection of interesting dishes and the delectable, grown on site vegetables make this a restaurant I can highly recommend. Currently they are only taking booking for groups of 25 and more, but I hope that it returns to smaller bookings soon so that we may make another visit!

I do like coming to this coffee shop. But I do have one criticism and that is that I have been early at 9am when they open and the floor of the cafe does not look like it has been hoovered from the day before. Tissues or serviettes under tables and crumbs. Also lift floor not cleaned out. Lift does not smell very nice.

Just had coffee, two toast, bacon, bobble, bake beans -paid £24, charged me individually, no suggestion, be careful, my last day to this Cafe- may be selling the cafe. Extra careful.

We always enjoyed visiting The Surrey King whilst living nearby. However, we have since moved away but when we came back to Worcester Park to visit friends, we made sure we returned here for our lunch... The newly refurbished interior looked great and we could not have asked for a warmer welcome from the owners.

My husband and I came here for lunch. The place looked clean and tidy. I chose a jacket potato with crab sticks. It comes with a small side salad (lettuce, cucumber and tomato). I was disappointed to find the crab sticks were chopped up and smothered in a strange-tasting white mayonnaise (overly rich,in my opinion), though this was not mentioned on the item on the menu. The freshly squeezed orange juice was nice.

It offers everything you could wish for from a cafe. Delicious food with good portions, very friendly staff and a cosy feel to the place. All of this at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend a visit, which I'm sure will be the first of many.

Popped in to meet up with family. They had some nice bites. Great to be able to take the dogs too.

We’ve been a few times now and every time we have had the best experience. The pub is warm and cosy, the staff are friendly and welcoming. Once food is ordered, they bring a delicious little cup of soup - a lovely complimentary touch that makes the visit really special and unique. Even the baguette with butter served with the starters - lovely touch. The crispy coated prawns are my favourite whilst my partner devours the crispy belly pork and tiger prawns. The food is done to absolute perfection. I’ve always ordered the Parmesan and it is huge! My partner loves the steaks and never been disappointed yet! The trio of sides served alongside are a perfect combination. The dressing on the salad is to die for and I could eat it all day! The vegetables are cooked perfect and the chips are always homemade and delicious. We’ve never had room to fit desserts in but I imagine they are just as delicious. Thank you for looking after us. It’s a really special place that I will continue to recommend to everyone we know. We are coming back next week so looking forward to it and thought the review was well overdue! Excellent Fish and Chip shop. Great service. Great value. Great food.

Well run, reasonably supplied local cafe with ample seating both indoors and outdoors. Adjoining playground is convenient for child carers.

We go to The Sun fairly regulalry and had another lovely Sunday lunch yesterday. The service is always very good. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. Would highly recommend.

Le di a Manzes Sutton una gran crítica hace un par de años, pero siento que la anciana que me sirvió era una miseria y cuando fui educado y llevé mi plato hasta el punto de servicio (como me criaron para hacer en un café o pastel una tienda de puré) ella era simplemente miserable y grosero ... no dijo gracias y me dijo que debería haberlo dejado en la mesa! Si queremos que tradiciones londinenses como esta sobrevivan, no empleen a miserables ignorantes...
