The best restaurants serving British food in Cathedrals Southwark London

The person at the entrance asked me if I had any allergies, and I told them I did, but the black waiter with glasses who came to take my order didn't understand, so when I told him again he started swearing at me in English. The atmosphere and food in the restaurant were good, so it was a shame.

Good selection of ales. Pleasant service.

Unfortunately we have been very disappointed with it. Novotel is a great place but restaurant really lacks in service , speed and quality. More than one hour to get two pizza (frozen) , wrong order and really tooo long service. A real pity !

Una gran noche con amigos. Disfrutamos la comida Ambiente animado. Servicio amable y profesional. Lamento no haber recibido el nombre de la joven que nos sirvió, era increíble. NB. Me encanta tu política sobre las personas que usan tu restaurante como espacio de trabajo

Amazing food, Charleigh gave us a great table over looking the river and her service was amazing. Thankyou for a lovely experience. X

A lovely building and with the usual good wetherspoons prices but the staff are so miserable and the dirty plates just sat ignored even though the place was very quiet.

Very nice, atmospheric restaurant in St Catherine's dock. multistorey, nice pub but in the 1st and 2nd floor you can have proper, nice food as well. there is also a small garden. Ideal location

Not easy to find good food in London , Gerfunkel's restaurant was fine . Very quick service and nice staff. Food was ok and price quite high : but this is London !

Ordered a hot chocolate and hotdog and chips. They forgot my hotdog and chips. wouldn’t give money back when I said I didn’t want to wait for one to be cooked after waiting for 15mins already for my missed order. Staff were quite rude. When I finally got the hotdog it was inedible and I threw it in the bin.

Obtuve pepitas y papas fritas para mi hija de 4 años, ella tenía algunas de las pepitas y algunas papas fritas que ya no podía comer porque me dolió la barriga. . . menos de 2 horas después estaba en el baño vomitando. Nunca volveré

Sábado 12 de octubre de 2024 , 9 . 00 am. Entró, para encontrarse con cuatro imprudentes empleados parados detrás del mostrador, aparentemente sin nada que hacer, mientras que algunas de las mesas y el piso podrían haber hecho con un buen barrido. Entonces un tipo entra con un perro mediano, un Chow Chow creo, y lo deja caminar sobre las mesas. Luego recibe su orden y se sienta. Después de que él se había ido, nadie se molestó en salir con una botella de limpiador de aerosol y darle a las mesas una toallita. Nunca quiero ver a un perro caminando por las superficies de las que estoy comiendo mi comida. NUNCA. (Los huevos al horno tardaron una eternidad, pero no estuvieron tan mal).
