Been before and still a great restaurant with excellent food and service.

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere amazing servers. We had cod and chips the cod was a sensation. The waiter Jovani was excellent very attentive and knowledgable. The restaurant was clean warm and comfortable

Siamo stati ieri sera e anche se lo abbiamo trovato all’ultimo momento (il venerdì e il weekend in genere è impossibile sedersi ovunque se nn hai una prenotazione) abbiamo mangiato benissimo Fiah&chips mia moglie e salmone per me Davvero eccellente Ha sicuramente fatto la differenza anche il servizio, la location in quanto è stato figo sedersi al bancone in marmo che corre lungo tutta la cucina a vista e il servito! In cucina poi sono davvero super organizzati e velocissimi…io amo i ristoranti ma in Italia penso che abbiano ancora tanto da imparare in termini di efficienza! Bravi bravi bravi! Bella scoperta!

We have an annual London trip, and quite often we end up in Borough market for some street food to go. This year, we tried Fish! for takeaway fish and chips. Everyone thought that they were as good, if not better than any other fish and chips we had ever had. Not cheap, but excellent. super fast service too.

Great service, delicious food and lovely atmosphere

Went for the fish pie as it never disappoints. My companion remarked that there were no prawns in it this time but the flavours were delicious and the waiter explained that they use the best ingredients available on the day, which makes sense. Also tried the Christmas version sticky toffee pudding - very good. All washed down with a carafe of white, a very enjoyable meal. The restaurant was quite full and loud but frankly compared with the bedlam outside in the market, which was heaving with tourists, it was an oasis.

Really efficient service. The food was delicious- I can recommend the Fish Finger sandwich from a taste point of view, but don’t expect to be able to eat it like a sandwich! It is served in very thick sourdough bread which is way too big to lift and eat, you have to deconstruct it, which is a bit of a pain. The portions are generous.

Had a lovely meal here this evening. We sat at the counter as the tables were all reserved and we had a lovely evening. It was a great atmosphere and the food was gorgeous. I had the red mullet special and my friend had the fish pie...both were absolutely delicious. We both had desserts too, which were equally as tasty. Didn't feel the food was badly priced considering the location and we both said we would definitely return as there were so many dishes on the menu we wanted to try.

nice food, although they insist on sticking paper under the fish n chips to soak up the fat they couldn't bother draining before it goes on the plate. Additionally they serve the very same fish n chips outside at a fraction of the cost in the restaurant. a fraction!

We had a lovely meal with very attentive and friendly staff. If I was running it, I’d be tempted to drop the lighting just a touch in the evening but it was a lovely meal and experience.

Been to Fish many times. Service is always excellent. I has fish soup with was rich and tasty but too much chilli. Partner had muscles - excellent and red mullet special-again usual standard of excellence. I had grilled halibut which was very expensive and overcooked so it became dry and tasteless. In all other ways an excellent experience. Never had this issue before. We will be back

The three of us each chose something different so we had a good selection. Each dish was delicious and portion size good. Cocktails are expensive and the choice limited but worth it for a special occasion. We opted out of starters as those at a reasonable price were limited and instead went for desserts. These about the same price as you would find elsewhere but a good selection. Quite expensive overall with the mandatory service charge (£75 per head) but this included 2 courses, cocktail, wine and a couple of snacks (olives) so probably average for this part of London. Would definitely recommend for the atmosphere, great service and if you are a fan of fish!

If you need a boost of energy after a long week, this restaurant is a good place to try. Food, drinks, staff, everything is well organised and amazing 👏

In my experience the best Fish&Chips in this part of London, in the context of Borough Market, the service is always friendly and helpful and the food of excellent quality. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed everything we had. I asked for a slight variation on my main course, which was done without any fuss. The food & the service are always excellent, which is why I return as often as I can.

Food was decent but over priced for the value. Cocktail menu was great if you like Gin. For the food, everything drenched in dressing or sauce, taking away from the seafood. Service was the worst we had in London. Asked for condiments, they didn’t come. Server never checked on us once after appetizers were delivered, 30 min later a different server came to check on us and we asked for bill and left without ordering mains.

Table really small for 2people it’s like table for 1, couldn’t even fit a finger bowl on the table to wash your hands , knocked over the bottle of water on the table far to small , food and service was good

Long term FISH diner, last time a year ago. Several changes evident, smaller portions, although still delicious. Increased prices and service charge up to 13.5% That nearly caused an issue because although the restaurant was only just beginning evening service our server was very casual about taking our order, providing a wine list, clearing our table, providing the bill. Food still very tasty, but service needs a bit of work. I was a minute a away from chopping the 'optional' charge.

Very tasty food and lovely wine, pretty good value and delightful staff

Had fish and chips. Foor was good but both chips and peas were cold. Dessert was (bread and butter pudding with creme Anglaise (custard). pudding was cold in the middle suggesting not defrosted properly. Staff were excellent throughout and this is very different to a previous visit.

There is an extensive menu from which we ate quality food. Service was professional and friendly.

Lovely fresh fish foods, plenty of options and good to see chefs in action.

Second visit in three weeks and just as good as it was last time. Will go again but maybe leave it a while!

I been before but felt the food wasn’t a good as before- the Thai fish cakes were dry, the fish and chips ordinary and the Basque cheesecake was quite salty, the creme brulee was pasty with cornflour- perhaps weekday chef was different or cost saving on recipes as issue- the ladies next to us complained about watery fish pies so I think the manager needs to quality check before things slip further

We arrived early but they seated us very quickly, which we very much appreciated. Excellent very fresh fish, and highly efficient and friendly service.

Fish is a nice restaurant without the crowds at Borough Market. We liked the seafood: clam showder, smoked salmon croquettes ( need a little more salmon ); salmon salad and the roasted haddock . Prices are reasonable and service very friendly and efficient. Recommendable alternative in Borough Market.

We all had the Fish & Chips, which was generous, fresh and certainly filling. Highly recommended. Worth the journey.

From booking our table to finally paying the bill, it was great! Courteous service from all the waiting staff, lively ambience in the restaurant, and the menu was interesting and varied.We found it hard to choose, but started with the seafood salad, which we shared. The baked haddock with lentils lived up to it's description and was delicious. Our desserts of baked cheesecake with a coffee, and espresso affogato rounded off a fabulous meal - thank you to all at Fish! for making this birthday lunch memorable!

Everything about our visit to FISH ! this time was perfect, the service, the meals were lovely, the meal portion sizes were big, fair & very reasonable in price in comparison with other restaurants. The atmosphere was great, very clean restaurant , this time we were inside which at night time looks great with all the nice internal lighting effects. Waiters were very nice, professional & even though busy always there if needed... 10/10 every aspect

Fish is always a lovely secure eating experience. I’ve been using it for celebrations, meetings and 1:1 dining. The fish is fresh. Today’s halibut special was great.

Oysters, Salmon and Halibut, everything was on point! Delicious! Very friendly staffs in a great located restaurant.

I've eaten at Fish! before and have found memories of the place, however I felt the menu had gotten smaller, and considerably more expensive. The food was okay on this occasion, however I know it's normally a higher standard. The restaurant was busy and it did feel as though food was a little rushed. I think it's a great spot for lunch on a sunny day, but not my choice for dinner.

We both had Excellent fish lunches and my wife had the chocolate mousse that she said was one of the best, plus excellent service by Mark, and a nice touch with the ice cream and candle for my birthday.

Fish was well prepared and very fresh. Relatively casual place. Good service. Not crowded for dinner.

The ambience and room were lovely, the staff were also very good and attentive throughout. Service was not the issue. The food however was all a bit lacklustre. My friend had the fish pie that was a lot of potato and cheese but not much fish...it was in a word 'stodgy'. I had one of the special dishes which was the Frito Misto...for the price it was not good value or quality: small portions of actual fish and it was all over cooked to the point of being dry, there were about 12 whitebait, a few calamari, one prawn, and 1 piece of mullet about 4cm in length. The heritage tomato and red onion salad it was served with was good. The desserts were fine, nothing outstanding. I also had a single espresso, which tasted dirty...very poor quality. Overall disappointing and at £120 not good value considering we had 1 beer and just a bottle of water.

Food is very good, although grilled fish portions are quite small. Our waiter was great, but the team delivering the food were very abrupt and it felt at times the food was being thrown at us. Highlight for me was the sardines on toast starter, these were amazing. The grilled turbot I had, although delicious and cooked perfectly was v small for the price paid. Good, but not great.

We sampled fish and chips (from their take-away business) on a food tour and decided we had to go back for a sit-down meal. We repeated with fish and chips, but added drinks (wine and a cocktail) and appetizers and we weren't disappointed. Possible the best fish and chips we've ever had. Fish! was busy (it was Friday night) and it's a fairly noisy (not to the point where we were bothered). We found the food and service to be excellent. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but well worth a try. If we lived in London, we'd be there on a regular basis.

Ordered Grilled Salmon which came with seasonal vegetables - turned out to be just a small bit of cabbage. Had to order potatoes separately. Not what I call seasonal vegetables.

Great location right on the Borough Market. Service was impeccable. Unfortunately, my fish pie had too much potato & not enough fish or sauce which made it very dry. The portion size was perfect but seriously let down by the ingredients.

As we always eat Fish on a Friday a Restaurant named FISH seemed most appropriate . It was easy to find and offered a choice of Indoors or outdoors dining . We had mostly decided to have the Fish and Chips before we went . My wife had Cod and I had Haddock . They were served with a generous portion of chips mushy peas and a delicious homemade Tartare sauce . We were impressed the fish was served on clear Greaseproof paper . I thought the cost was reasonable . We also had a bottle of House White wine which was good value at about £30 and was very enjoyable at this price . I would recommend this wine

I've been here twice in recent months, visiting London from NYC. I love this restaurant. Fantastic selection of fish, including items rarely seen on most menus even of seafood restaurants. And an excellent fish soup. And reasonable prices. In a fun area of town right near London Bridge

Excellent service. The food came out quickly and at the perfect temperature. Food was delicious, apart from fish and seafood specialties, they also have some other options, however, the favourite choice is the beer battered fish and chips. Really great place, we love this restaurant to come and celebrate together as a (adult) family.

The fish salad was poor quality and not very fresh. My husband ordered the grilled seabass which costed almost £33 for a small filet and was not well cooked . Not sure what happened to this place , I came months ago and the fish was good .

Unfortunately wasn’t the greatest experience. The waiter announced on arrival it was his second day and fair enough but over the course of the evening it showed … Got the order totally wrong …was given 2 incorrect bills and for the prices …and the 13.5% service charge …you would expect better. Not going to be rushing back

Georgia was amazing friendly, attentive and helpful as were the rest of the staff . The crab starter was delicious and the scallops and black pudding extremely tasty . . Calamari was crispy and tender . Beautifully fresh prawns as were all the ingredients . Highly recommend .

It’s a long time since I’ve dined at Fish! A pleasure to reacquaint myself with this excellent restaurant which does exactly what it says….if you like fish of course! Friendly, attentive service with well presented tasty dishes. It won’t be so long before we return this time!

A lovely table on the patio on a pleasant afternoon. The menu was excerllant with a variety that made choosing quite difficult. We started by sharing the Devilled Whitebait and the Calamari, fresh and delicious, the my daughter had the Seared Tuna in Soya & Honey with salad for her main, my husband had the Fish Pie and I had the Wild Halibut and Chips. The food was delicious, fresh and the side dishes were great. Service was perfect and we never felt hurried. A quiet peaceful spot to relax, enjoy a good food and drink in the bustling vibrant Borough Market.

I went for a fish-based lunch last Sunday. The restaurant is surrounded by window-walls, where I could enjoy the view of Borough Market and its visitors without the noise, giving me a sense of being in an aquarium. The service was excellent, with very courteous and accommodating staff. The menu offered a rich variety of choices for every budget and a good selection of wines. The taste of the ingredients and their preparations was among the best compared to other fish restaurants.

We were able to eat outside which is very pleasant. The best food was the most simply prepared. We had the swordfish. The scallops had too many flavours. Fish is extraordinarily expensive

Fish! seems to have its major back. I've been visiting for many years and the business appears to be moving back to what I remember it being, moderate priced food well presented and with a good atmosphere/ambience in the restaurant. Reception/greeting was good and either my partner arriving at a different time to me that's important as sometimes that wait can feel bad. Waiting staff were helpful in ordering both food and wine znd our meal was well prepared and, of course, tasty.

We very much enjoyed our generously proportioned fish pie, sitting in the outdoor area on a lovely summer's day, and the service could not have been more friendly and helpful.

The sea bass is hit and miss - sometimes it’s on the fatty side or not the best cut which for the price is surprising. Kids meal is excellent.

Worst salad nicoise ever. Eggs were not hard boiled, tuna was tough and fibrous, dressing was tasteless. Only thing that saved dinner was the fish soup which was as good as ever.

FISH has a great location and atmosphere… Food is good but not great… Unfortunately the Captain that served us (Asian looks) had a Terrible Mood and thus a terrible service… making us feel uncomfortable and unwanted in the restaurant. As I said… such a pity for the great location and atmosphere to have people with such a lack of customer service and empathy!!!
