First visit. You have to choose what you want and then go order (and pay in advance) at the counter. My husband had egg and bacon toasted sandwich (£7.60) and I had what was listed as a BLT... (£6.45) plus a pot of tea for 2 for £5, bring the total to £19.05, pre-tip, which is a bit expensive in my book, but I don't mind if it's good. See photos of my so-called BLT. The photo of it less the lettuce looks a bit unappetising - to me at least, but just look at that lettuce which I took out of the sandwich, as I wouldn't give it to a healthy rabbit, let alone a sick one. Just truly awful. Limp, blackened, yucky, decomposing. My husband was disappointed with his sandwich, too. The bread wasn't up to much and suffice to say we shan't be returning. (Tea was fine!).

This has the potential to be the best restaurant in SE London, but there is a serious lack on ambition on the menu. I have been several times since opening and the food is always well executed, but the menu has evolved at a snails pace and is still essentially a gasto-pub menu. The dining room is well suited to a serve genuine restaurant food, or at least a more 'fine-dining' brasserie menu, which will make the place a destination. Unfortunately, the menu feels like it has been designed by an accountant, not a chef and this means the place won't attract local regulars, nor will it become a 'destination' people travel to. D&M was reviewed by a couple of national newspapers and the money spent on the building means it could become a real gem of a restaurant, but it is lacking atm. The staff all seem friendly, and a particular mention to Jamie, who tempted us to stay for dinner after enjoying a drink on the terrace.

My wife and I use Buddy's when we visit family in Bromley. It is the best place to eat for miles! We always receive a wonderful, friendly welcome from the team, in particular Tracey. The choice and quality of the food is excellent. Despite having an expansive menu, all the food is cooked to order, and served hot. They also do a great range of healthy options. It is extremely clean, and plenty of space to enjoy your meal. My wife and I highly recommend this cafe. Thank you so much for making our last trip so special, and hopefully, we'll see you next year.

Called in for lunch after a bank holiday walk on the common. Pub was not too crowded and we were served at the bar quickly. Two local real ales, both good and well-kept. Food took a short while to arrive while we waited in the sunny garden. My cheddar ploughman's was generous and fresh- how great to get a ploughman's as these seem to have fallen from favour. My wife had a special; prawn, avocado and cream cheese baguette and chips. Again very tasty and generous. We struggled to finish our meals! The only small quibble was the indifference of the bar staff. On arrival we were not "greeted" and indeed the 2 barmen were carrying on a private conversation all the time they were pouring our beers. Efficient, yes, but somewhat lacking in enthusiasm and/or professionalism. Aside from that we would strongly recommend this large semi-rural pub for a good lunch. Value for money too.

I don’t even like darts, I like it even less after playing it at this place. Barmen was rude and started shouting at the only paying customers in the place. No food on offer, as the competent and friendly chef has rightly left. The pub also supported our local club Bromley, but has since shunned this history, good business sense now we’ve been promoted to League 2. Did I mention the lack of atmosphere? Think the only person still drinking in there is the GrumpyB. Don’t bother visiting until a change in attitude from the staff. Used to be decent.

I ordered the fish and chips After a longish wait it arrived the batter was so hard I think it had been double cooked. The fish was chewy. So obviously overcooked. The mangeress came over and asked what’s wrong I said the batter is rock hard and the fish is chewy it’s been over cooked she then said (very rudely) but u have eaten the fish it’s only the batter on the plate I then proceeded to show her the fish which was on my plate and said obviously I have eaten some or how would I know it’s chewy ? I said to her taste a bit of the fish on my plate she was very very rude and said wat do u expect me to do u have eaten some of it I don’t expect to be spoken to like this when out for lunch
