First visit. You have to choose what you want and then go order (and pay in advance) at the counter. My husband had egg and bacon toasted sandwich (£7.60) and I had what was listed as a BLT... (£6.45) plus a pot of tea for 2 for £5, bring the total to £19.05, pre-tip, which is a bit expensive in my book, but I don't mind if it's good. See photos of my so-called BLT. The photo of it less the lettuce looks a bit unappetising - to me at least, but just look at that lettuce which I took out of the sandwich, as I wouldn't give it to a healthy rabbit, let alone a sick one. Just truly awful. Limp, blackened, yucky, decomposing. My husband was disappointed with his sandwich, too. The bread wasn't up to much and suffice to say we shan't be returning. (Tea was fine!).

Just had the full English swapped out the bubble for black pudding it is by far the best cafe breakfast around here. The food was plentiful, tasty and really hot. Also not expensive.

This has the potential to be the best restaurant in SE London, but there is a serious lack on ambition on the menu. I have been several times since opening and the food is always well executed, but the menu has evolved at a snails pace and is still essentially a gasto-pub menu. The dining room is well suited to a serve genuine restaurant food, or at least a more 'fine-dining' brasserie menu, which will make the place a destination. Unfortunately, the menu feels like it has been designed by an accountant, not a chef and this means the place won't attract local regulars, nor will it become a 'destination' people travel to. D&M was reviewed by a couple of national newspapers and the money spent on the building means it could become a real gem of a restaurant, but it is lacking atm. The staff all seem friendly, and a particular mention to Jamie, who tempted us to stay for dinner after enjoying a drink on the terrace.

Used this place a few years ago, and heven't eaten here much lately. I've got used to paying £10 for a decent breakfast with a cup of tea around Bromley. I went last weekend and the Bubble and Squeak breakfast with a tea was £7.00. Incredible vale for money, and it was delicious. Served promptly and pleasantly by the waitress. Well recommended - how do they do it at this price?

Having been to The Partidge previously with friends and having enjoyed it very much, I was pleased to be able to take my daughters there for lunch. It is a lovely building, inside and out with a good atmosphere, plus the staff are always friendly and very pleasant. The menu is excellent, proper food and what I have had has always been delicious. It was served quite quickly and as I expected, it was lovely. My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed both our food and time in The Partridge and hopefully will be going again when we can all get together. We all totally recommend The Partridge pub in Bromley

Called in for lunch after a bank holiday walk on the common. Pub was not too crowded and we were served at the bar quickly. Two local real ales, both good and well-kept. Food took a short while to arrive while we waited in the sunny garden. My cheddar ploughman's was generous and fresh- how great to get a ploughman's as these seem to have fallen from favour. My wife had a special; prawn, avocado and cream cheese baguette and chips. Again very tasty and generous. We struggled to finish our meals! The only small quibble was the indifference of the bar staff. On arrival we were not "greeted" and indeed the 2 barmen were carrying on a private conversation all the time they were pouring our beers. Efficient, yes, but somewhat lacking in enthusiasm and/or professionalism. Aside from that we would strongly recommend this large semi-rural pub for a good lunch. Value for money too.

We had an amazing time at the pub, especially as it was my wife’s first visit and similarly our youngest grandson (17) and his girlfriend (18) The purpose of our visit was to have a pre celebration of our grandson’s birthday, as he would be celebrating his 18 on 15th October. The staff made us feel very welcome from the moment that we entered the pub, as they were so friendly and polite. We had some soft drinks with our food, which consisted of 1 Haddock Goujons and 3 Smash Burgers. The quality of the food was excellent and we strongly recommend the choices that we made. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We arrived about 4pm for my brother in laws birthday gathering myself and about 5 others we where having a very nice day celebrating his birthday and seeing in the end of Christmas we spent about £200 on food and drinks all the staff were lovely and helpful and the bar was full of happy joyful laughter until one manager came to our table and rudely told us to shut up because one of us was laughing too much we weren’t causing anything problems and the table next to us was joining in with our happy friends laughs just one manager came and angrily shouted at us for no good reason other than we were laughing to loud she ruined our evening refused to sever the drinks we had ordered because I questioned her about her unfair attitude but she didn’t care she laughed in our faces and another male manger backed her up even tho she was in the wrong we regret spending £200 in this bar
