The best restaurants serving British food in Tendring East of England

As always excellent! a group of us went out for dinner just before Christmas once again the meal was beautiful and the service excellent ! All of the food arrived hot and beautifully prepared ! The place was full due to Christmas but this had no impact on this beautiful place to eat with the same excellent level of attention to the food they serve and their customers !

We've used this cafe a few times and been really impressed. Freshly made food and good coffee. Recommend anyone to try it.

The food from this little gem is really., really lovely and you really get your moneys's worth and the ladys's that work there are so friendly. a must try if your down old road

I had Lamb Kofta with rice and a lovely fresh salad, hubby had Mackerel and bass in lemon and caper sauce, both were most enjoyable. Another pleasant evening at the Naze Cafe. Also at breakfast they do the best bubble and squeak.

Tasty roast, lots of veg. Meat was very tender and plentiful, would recommend!

I asked if the buttered roll was indeed butter or margarine, and this question stumped the server and the person at the back. Very worrying that there was no idea what went into the food they produced. Allergens in butter could prove an issue for some people.

Well what a strange place .You enter through a live amusement acrade. When you finally arrive you see this massive area with no atmosphere although the windows face the sea .We ordered the standard Sunday lunch which they mixed up the orders .Nothing worse than eating out of sequence with other diners . My fish and chips had no taste as the fish was frozen . It was empty and they still mixed up the service. The guy playing his guitar could play but as the place was empty we found ourselves shouting at each other. All in all we will never return to this restaurant.
