The Plough in Tendring

I had Lamb Kofta with rice and a lovely fresh salad, hubby had Mackerel and bass in lemon and caper sauce, both were most enjoyable. Another pleasant evening at the Naze Cafe. Also at breakfast they do the best bubble and squeak.

Lovely food and great service. Booking in advance was easy and beneficial. Will be back again !

A spot of Sunday Lunch with hubby for a few times this year all ready. Food is cooked well, tasty, friendly staff, cosy and inviting atmosphere. One of the best pubs in the Tendering for food, the atmosphere and staff. We would definitely recommend that you try it for yourselves and know you will not be disappointed!

I asked if the buttered roll was indeed butter or margarine, and this question stumped the server and the person at the back. Very worrying that there was no idea what went into the food they produced. Allergens in butter could prove an issue for some people.
