We searched online for a South African themed pub and Three Ways Country Pub came up as being closest to us although it was a 90 minute drive away. After arriving at the pub, the owner Basie introduced himself to us and we were made to feel welcome on our first visit to this pub. Basie's wife Ellie also introduced herself and what was noticeable was how the the owners seemed to know almost everyone who entered the pub as well. Being our first time, I ordered their Beef Potjie and my wife ordered the Pork and Prawn Potjie with my kid ordering a pizza. The portion sizes of the food was a lot larger than what we had expected and I only have positive things to say about how good the Potjie meals tasted. The food arrived hot and delicious. Other positives was the wood fired heater in the bar which added to the atmosphere, as well as the beer costing a lot cheaper compared to prices in the town we live in. I can't recommend Three Ways enough and hope to visit again soon to try their mixed grill meat dish!

Having been a frequent visitor to this pub over the years and supporting it during and after Covid we were disgusted by the Landlord's behaviour. I was having a drink with a few friends and because my very well behaved 12 year old left the front door slightly open he kicked it shut and became aggressive towards us. We didn’t feel safe being female. He told us we were not welcome at the pub and said he didn’t care if we left. We were absolutely stunned after sitting there in peace and spending the best part of £22 on 2 pints and cokes. The Landlord hates kids of any kind. After happily taking my money for the drinks he then shouts this isn’t a place for kids! It was 4pm on a Sunday afternoon and they were happy sitting outside in the garden. No wonder this pub is failing and the one down the road is thriving. Never coming here again. Don’t bother.

Just so crap. Attended a wedding here, asked for an allergen list for the buffet, and was told I need to call ahead to let them know that I had an egg allergy. Staff told me I could have cheesy chips free, I asked for a burger at extra cost but an hour later when I ask if it's coming um toms I need to go to another building to order it. Try to order a drinks nd told it's card only... This place is run by the staff for the staff, the foods a joke and it's all very emotive. Never again. Further to previous review, landlord has justbehestcted me from the pub for "being difficult"; if you like being treated like a problem for asking a legitimate question the white horse is for you. Thanks Ada and staff

Quiet country pub in the middle of nowhere. Met with friends for-dinner. Food and drink options were good. It’s decent pub grub. We enjoyed our time here and would go back again.
