Nice food and good service. Not very busy at time.

We had a warm welcome as soon as we walked in. The manager was very informative and polite. We sat outside, which again the manager gave us the instructions on how everything works. Drinks & food came pretty quickly, food was nice. Kids loved the food, and enjoyed the outside play area. The lady who brought everything out was extremely polite and tried to have a laugh with the kids :) (Sorry I didn’t catch your name) Overall its was great, thank you again to everyone

Food was good but portion sizes were a bit small, and the chicken tenders weren’t as crisp as I’d expect. Halloumi fries were spot on, pints were spot on, service was spot on.

A nice, quiet and clean pub on the outskirts of the town.

We've been here twice before without issue, once eating in the restaurant area and once ordering from the bar. However, this time we had absolutely atrocious customer service. We were told that there weren't tables in the restaurant, and that we could order from the bar. A member of staff cleared a table for us and we ordered drinks. After having a look through the menu we went up to the bar to order and were then told that now we couldn't order food. I can only assume that there is terrible communication between the staff and a general lack of basic service skills, but this doesn't excuse the attitude of the young lad we spoke with. Pretty poor, especially as my partner is 8 months pregnant. Sort it out. Edit: On a Wednesday? Evidently you lack the ability to take responsibility for the disorganisation, or to properly apologise. As said previously, you have different staff members saying different things. Any decent person would say sorry for the misunderstanding that they caused. Looks like that isn't the case here.

Didn't get half of what was ordered, had to go and chase up only to find they hadn't put it through to the kitchen, quite small portions and not value for money.

The food was excellent but the serving females were sullen and reluctant, this made the experience far less pleasant. We came for my daughter’s birthday, great pity.

A busy eaterie which provides plentiful tasty food, soft drinks and alcohol at a good price. Just a chance to go out without going too far.

Great food, nice place and just missing th ekids area form before covid. But all good.

Friendly helpful staff with particular mention to Kelsey who was very attentive. Service was quick. Food arrived hot and big portions..and delicious.

It was nice to have a meal in a very relaxed, clean and airy restaurant. All the staff were friendly nothing was too much trouble. The food arrived timely and was well presented and hot. Only slight disappointment was no Panna cotta 😕

Good pub in town away from the town centre, for a chain pub the beers are good and tv to watch football. Not like a traditional place with atmosphere so great for cosy meetings and family get togethers. See you next time, Atilla x

4 of us went for food before the quiz. The food was lovely but slightly over priced we felt. Service was good although a little slower when waiting for dessert. Overall a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The quiz was really good too!!

OK food, service can be slow update: spent over £150 on a meal for four money for charity quiz yet still can't order a drink after 10pm

We enjoyed a very delicious meal at this establishment. Our server was Lisa who went out of her way to look after us. She was not only attentive but very efficient too. We will surely be coming back again and again.

Always service with a smile when I come in. Food is great and beer is always cold. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and always go the extra mile when I come in nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely keep coming in thank you everyone

Took our family out for a meal at The Shuttle. Our son over from Australia was very impressed with the Sea Bass he ordered. Said it was the best Sea Bass he had tasted. Great evening, great food and great atmosphere. We will surely be back very soon.

Had a lovely meal here a few weeks ago and was served by Carol who was very helpful and friendly and dealt with my two kid's allergies very well - felt confident what they were eating was safe.

It was my first visit, and it was a pleasant experience. We were a party of four adults and one child, and we were greeted and seated promptly. Our drink orders were taken and served quickly. The food was delicious. We will definitely return. Thank you.

We booked for lunch to catch up but was a little disappointed with the steak,I had gammon and pineapple last time I had it I got a egg aswell but maybe different staff on

Excellent food...starter, main and dessert options were fantastic. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Service was fantastic (staff attentive and always there when i needed a topup, without feeling rushed or hounded at all). And i love the feel of the place. I enjoy a warm, welcoming and cosy place to enjoy a good hearty meal with my partner as an evening treat. Would highly recommend a visit to support this great local place. They also normally have at least one ale on tap (i recommend the Wainwright), with a good selection of other drink choices.

Always attentive staff, food is always excellent, decor is modern but cosy, very clean and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. 100% recommended.

We had a nice meal here, we originally phoned to see what time they finished serving Sunday roast and were told that they had sold out of Turkey and they didn't know how much beef or pork was left. Anyway we went as we needed to eat lol !! I actually ordered steak and ale pie only to be told it was sold out, so I had the cheese leek and potatoe pie with mash and veg. It was very nice and a good portion, however my partner ordered tge belly pork which came with potatoes and veg. Tge veg was a couple if pieces of long stem brocoli and that was it. She asked the waitress if she could have some more vegetables maybe a portion of seasonal veg, she got given one more piece of brocoli, this was disappointing at least. The food was nice and we both enjoyed it, the waitress was lovely and attentive.

Lovely little pub in Haverhill. Delicious lunch menu. Recommend the Chicken tenders and fries. Beautiful! Dog friendly too which is even better :-).

Hi it was excellent service and food everything we excepted to be we travelled from Kent for a short brake and was staying at the local travelodge so wasn't dar,rmto travel will definitely rec and come again if we are back at haverhill thank you

Staff came cross helpful and friendly. Took our drink order first. Then gave us time to look at the menu. They were accommodating to change parts of the menu to suit our needs. Food came quick and was value for money.

Busy but not too busy for customers. Staff really attentative, Great range of non alcoholic drinks - not just coke etc, great range of food to choose from, food was delivered in a timely manner, hot and tasty, dessert was soooooo good, nice atmosphere, will visit again.

We sat outside. There were scores of green flies stuck to the table when we arrived so no pre-opening checks of the outside. When our food turned up we were told to go get our cutlery from the end of the bar?! My kebab I ordered half of it was burned to a cinder and the last straw was that no one even asked if our meal was ok so couldn't even say how our experience was... Poor experience overall.

Went out for lunch with some friends on Friday the 10th may . Ordered 5 BLT sandwiches 3 with just chips and 2 with a side salad . Well what can I say about the side salad 1 bit of lettuce and a few sprigs of rocket in a small bowl and charged £2.99 each for it . Forgot to take pic of it absolutely disgusting that you can charge people that money for what you get . If you have the sandwiches don’t order the salad as it’s a bloody rip off . Flying shuttle you need to seriously review your price on that side salad You should be ashamed of yourself for charging that price . So only 2 stars given on food

Eaten here twice now with the family for lunch, food is nice, staff are lovely but the downside is having allgeries/intolerances to be told to use the website which doesn't state the ones outside the main ones, I unfortunately ended up having to get side orders as everything comes and is prepared together, my allgeries are not common I understand but unfortunately the type it is in can be in everything (paprika for example on chips for a coating to make them look more golden) The place is generally quiet and other customers have been mindful, it has a nice warm setting, I would likely visit again if there was more food options available to me

Frozen tart served. Disinterested waitress. Have contacted head office who have replied a couple of times, but obviously got bored and gave up. Will not be darkening their doorstep again. Bad pub, bad business.

We took our dear friends for a meal at this establishment. Our food was delicious and we were served by a very friendly young lady called Lissa.

Will not be going back to this place. Stake ale pie was burnt. Pastry was too hard to eat. Honey glazed carrots were burnt. INSTANT mash had a crust on and was cold. Peas were hard and cold, so was the few runner beans. Strongly do NOT recommend the Flying Shuttle.

We had a group of 11. Service was fantastic, friendly and efficient. Food was amazing. 2 of us had the kebabs which were lovely Deserts also great. Cannot recommend enough +++++

Everyone is very friendly, when it’s busy sometimes service is slightly slow expectedly. I normally only go for drinks and I haven’t had food there for a very long time so can’t really comment on that but it’s a beau

Two of our main meals did not arrive until after the other four people had finished eating and only after I went to the bar to find out where they were! They were dried up and barely warm when they did arrive. Not an enjoyable experience!

We had a beautiful table, lovely service with a smile. We had our baby with us and the waitress was more than happy to entertain her whilst also taking our order. Drinks served swiftly and dinner was quick to arrive. Food excellent, ambiance cosy, staff attentive. Plates cleared promptly and deserts came with a smile.

Food was ok, not brilliant, waitress service was good but time waiting for food was not acceptable. It wasn’t very busy and yet it still took 35 minutes from ordering dessert to it being delivered.

We had lunch on Easter Sunday, service was excellent and our waitress was lovely very helpful. The food arrived on time and was great.

Had a lovely birthday lunch with friends, the staff were very helpful & attentive. Our meals were all lovely & our waitress was very patient with us chatting rather than ordering. A very nice friendly relaxed atmosphere & good value for money, very pleased.

On arrival we were greeted immediately by a very pleasant young man who showed us to our table. Within minutes a very friendly young lady took our drinks order. We were not rushed to order our food meaning we could enjoy our drinks prior to ordering. Our food was excellent. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

Sadly not a great experience today..burnt starters...and mains seemed very over cooked or over heated....even our cutlery was dirty and glasses were not clean....its a very hit and miss experience here.. today was definitely a miss

Ordered pie and pint offer, which cost more due to waitress unaware of drink restrictions, pie was not very good overcooked more pie than filling, could not understand why they were only using one half of the pub, where there was a wake going on next to our seating area, a bit un thoughtful we felt

Ate recently. Sharing board to start - very nice, but not enough bread for the generous amount of Humus. Chicken burgers were big, and the Sweet Potato and Chickpea curry was very tasty. Service was attentive and friendly despite being a bit short staffed. There were three adults and 3 teenagers. Paid £110 for 2 courses and drinks, so very good value for money.

Looked like kids running the bar, when ask for a pint ,they pulled a bit off which was flat, they then started pulling another to which they then added the falt beer to. My husband was horrified and had to tell them he needed a fresh one. Ordered food, then cutlery came without serviettes had to ask for them. Then our order came, n my husband fries we luke warm ,which they replaced. We had noticed other tables near us hadn't been cleared in the hour we'd been there, and ours wasn't cleared by the time we left. Minimum of 30 mins. Then we left. Also they we on there phones ,not even being discreet. Not good enough, won't be coming back if the kids are still there. No senior management looking over them.

We have visited the Flying Shuttle on a number of occasions. One of the better chains considering food quality and value for money. What makes this pub stand above the rest is friendliness of the staff and the great atmosphere. Very welcoming to families with children and also dog walkers with their pooches. Not to mention the outstanding views across fields.

We went for an early dinner, we both had the Fish, Chips & Peas it was delicious, and for desert I had Sticky Toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream,my husband had Zesty Lemon Tart with clotted cream the dessert were to die for we ate every morsel. The staff are very welcoming, very helpful & efficient with a smile on their faces. The Restaurant is spotlessly clean everywhere.We had a very enjoyable afternoon and we will be certainly recommending it to friends & family. I would like to Thank the Manager, Chef & the Staff, especially Katey for looking after us. Regards Johanna

We had rhe 3 course for £17 odd but wasn't impressed at all.the food was luke warm and over cooked.the service was shocking,didn't clear our table just kept brought the next course clear any of the table.i wouldn't mind but the place was nearly empty.staff were to busy standing round on their phones rather then clear tables and look after their customers

This was an ad hoc booking for a meal as we had been travelling since 9am that morning. The booking system was clear and easy to do and the table were given was just right. The young man who served us was very polite and welcoming and the food was delicious. Well done

I went twice so far to this place. First time just for drinks and second one for dinner. The food is a bit pricey but overall it is nice. The atmosphere is the one of a pub but not a village pub.

Booked a table for 1.30 for a Mothers Day treat with family. Served drinks ok except one got spilt over the table and no one came to clear it. After waiting 1 hour and 20 mins for 3 adult main courses and being told the other meal would be there soon, finally got it and the burger was raw inside. Luckily we checked the other burger meal as that was raw too. We never got asked if everything was alright and we never got asked if we would like another drink whilst we were waiting. I’ve never been anywhere with such appalling customer service. We got offered a dessert just as we were about to leave!! I didn’t even get a main course! Will not come here again although have been previously without any complaints. Hopefully my family won’t suffer from food poisoning after eating the little bit of burger before realising it hadn’t been cooked properly.

Travelled from london to visit my elderly mum , ordered the sea bass and found Longest hair in the mash of my sisters food , the waitress made a point of saying she will take that meal off the bill ( not sure if we was meant to be grateful ) ruined my mums birthday meal , won't be returning .

We visit regularly for lunch and have always had a great experience and our waitress has always been fantastic ! But we tried dinner for the first time yesterday and found the service was very slow and our waitress was abrupt and took down our order incorrectly so my husband had to send his starter back twice such a shame as always had a great experience having lunch but dinner was not good

Was a great shame that the Saturday we went, they had run out of draught ale. It's a Marstons house, that is woeful! One of the largest brewery companies in England and that happens. I will check that they have ale before I eat there again.

I took my mum there for dinner 8/10/22 18:15 .Mum had the beef lasagne, wife had hunter's chicken, me the royal chicken tikka all very nice. One very small issue that we didn't mention to the member of staff who served us. Drinks order was one half pepsi one pint of pepsi and one malibu and coke which is what we got, but on the bill it clearly shows 2 pints of pepsi and the malibu. Attention to detail required by staff .

The waitress was really nice, friendly and efficient. The food was lovely and there is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. It was my husbands birthday and the waitresses sang happy birthday to him when they brought out his cake. It was a really good experience
