We went to Hoveton Hall Garden on a rainy day. We stopped at the cafe twice. Once for drinks and then for lunch. The fish finger sandwiches were great. We had toasted banana bread with honey and a brownie. Both were fantastic. Both members of staff were lovely and really helpful. The barn was lovely and warm with the log burner. Many thanks for great service.

My Wife and I went for a drink of tea I ended up having a Breakfast Muffin my Wife had Toted teacake. The Muffin was absolutely delicious would recommend this, it is not a small snack. The eating area was nice and clean staff were very friendly. Definitely be revisiting.

This is not a vegetarian friendly restaurant. There were two vegan options on the menu. One had ‘vegan cheese’ and ‘vegan mayo’ in. One quorn. Asked the (very nice and professional) girl at the bar if we could have real cheese and mayo and the ‘chef’ told her no, ‘because of cross contamination’. What??? So, waste of time and money (crisp and nut lunch anyone?). Don’t offer healthy veggie food, fine, but don’t pretend you are vegetarian friendly.

Quirky little cafe/shop. Very small inside seating area, also sells stuff through hatch onto pathway. Good tea and coffee, tasty bacon bap, friendly owner.

Went on the Missippi boat and the location / ambient nature of the place was nice. Food expensive but the river is cleaner than Wroxham which we also love. The stores were closed but recommended.

We had our second visit here today as thought maybe the first time was just a bad day, based on the reviews on here but we will never go again. It’s a huge pub and it has a playground, great moorings but that’s as far as I can go with positives. Inside it’s dusty, dated, cheap, not over friendly, the food is such poor quality that we left most of what we had and didn’t bother with the “free” ice cream for the kids either. It is so expensive for what you get, in our opinion. Even our 4 and 7 year olds wouldn’t eat their meals. But the table next to us was heard saying “this is so good” to each other. Sadly not for us.
