The best restaurants serving British food in Bedford East of England

Just visited The Grove Restaurant for their Christmas menu and the food and service has been excellent, would highly recommend to all. Thanks for a lovely meal! 👍

Recientemente visitamos este café con un amigo que hemos estado allí antes, las parejas que dirigen el café son muy amables y la comida es muy buena, un domingo hacen una cena asada que es muy razonable precio como lo es toda su comida, yo recomendaría una visita si aún no has estado, pero te aconsejaría reservar si vas para el domingo asado.

What a lovely place. Held a Golden Wedding Party here. Staff couldn’t have been any more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back for the next party.

Lovely fresh food. Perfect for a takeaway lunch - fresh baguettes, wraps, Indian samosas, croissants, pasties and a fab selection of cakes/tray bakes too! Hot and cold drinks. A good choice for vegetarians too. We found their lovely little shop by accident a while back now, and have been popping in regularly ever since. The owners are warm friendly people. Definitely worth a visit if you want a delicious tasty lunch.

A revelation. A small cafe fab coffee and a great place for meeting family and friends in a safe environment for the little ones Food is ethically produced which is brilliant. Would recommend

Price was good but the 4 little crisps on a plate next to the saddest looking toastie was a little odd and felt like quite a long wait for the food. Jacket potato looked like it had just been stuck in a microwave.

Delicious Christmas lunch with works colleague in delightful surroundings. Food was fabulous and piping hot. Slow service but it was very busy so no complaints. Great value for money and good sized portions. Highly recommended. We will be back next year.

Absolutely fantastic pub! The place is spotless, and the food is simply delicious. The staff are extremely friendly, and even the other visitors make you feel welcome. Although it’s quite a spacious venue, it still maintains a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Fresh beer and nice staff. Menu is limited but good for quick lunch. There was a mistake with our order and the staff quickly sorted it.

Cosy, clean rooms, tucked away from the pub itself. Warm welcome from the publican and the castle is a lovely lively pub

Stopped here for food after a bike ride. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and they were happy to split an adults meal for our children. May encourage me to get on my bike more! Thank you
