The best restaurants serving British food in Bedford East of England

Just visited The Grove Restaurant for their Christmas menu and the food and service has been excellent, would highly recommend to all. Thanks for a lovely meal! 👍

Recientemente visitamos este café con un amigo que hemos estado allí antes, las parejas que dirigen el café son muy amables y la comida es muy buena, un domingo hacen una cena asada que es muy razonable precio como lo es toda su comida, yo recomendaría una visita si aún no has estado, pero te aconsejaría reservar si vas para el domingo asado.

What a lovely place. Held a Golden Wedding Party here. Staff couldn’t have been any more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back for the next party.

Lovely fresh food. Perfect for a takeaway lunch - fresh baguettes, wraps, Indian samosas, croissants, pasties and a fab selection of cakes/tray bakes too! Hot and cold drinks. A good choice for vegetarians too. We found their lovely little shop by accident a while back now, and have been popping in regularly ever since. The owners are warm friendly people. Definitely worth a visit if you want a delicious tasty lunch.

Just perfect …food, hospitality, setting , ambiance …the best in Bedfordshire. If you can get a booking ( weds to Sat only) you will be blown away!

Excellent coffee, cakes, bagels. The best in Bedford

A really lovely little cafe with a good range of breakafst choices. The sausage bap was delicious; best sausages I've ever had. Delicious cup of tea and hot chocolate. Felt able to while away a couple of hours without being moved on. A bonus was the free parking and easy access from Bedford. Will definitely be returning and looking forward to joining the book club, one of many extra activities the cafe offers. Long may you continue.

Maravilloso pub amable con buena comida y cerveza después de un largo paseo. Buenas sopas y bocadillos caseros. Ideal para caminantes y ciclistas.

Met up with friends, a first visit for me, really lovely atmosphere, low background music, different seating areas for comfort or at a table. Great cafe, excellent food choice, sandwiches, soups, range of drinks. Really enjoyed the pulled pork and apple sandwich, really nicely presented. Staff very friendly, excellent and efficient service. Thank you.

Our evening was amazing, we had Jessica as our waitress who was absolutely brilliant! She made us feel so welcome and made our night so enjoyable! the food was also delightful and we will definitely be back.

Great place for a beer before watching Bedford Blues

Stopped here for food after a bike ride. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and they were happy to split an adults meal for our children. May encourage me to get on my bike more! Thank you

Booked a group birthday afternoon tea, I wouldn’t recommend it. We had jam and cream scones, cup cakes, strawberries and cream, samosa,quiche,macarons and finger sandwiches. Sandwich filling not the best Quiche and macarons 50p size CHEESE scones with jam and cream on aah Strawberries cut up with spray can cream Would have been a lot better if the cakes and scones had been homemade and other items not come from Tesco finger food
