Excelente comida y servicio. Fui con mi amigo. Pequeña joya de un lugar. El mejor almuerzo del domingo. Lo recomendaría. Verduras cocinadas a la perfección.

I have visited this cafe a few times now. I love the choice of homemade cakes. I selected the carrot cake this time and it tasted delicious. The homemade lasagne is very good too. They have a great choice of food and definitely worth a visit. Fish and chips on the Friday night is a must choice. The staff are friendly and accommodating also.

We found this lovely cafe in January this year (2022). We have been going regularly ever for breakfast. lunch and trea and cake. In June a group of 17 of us went for Afternoon tea. It was excellent. They are very accommodating and catered for gluten free and low fibre dietry requirements. The food was so tasty and there was plenty of it so we ended up with "doggy" bags to take home too. Kevin and Ann run the cafe and are both really friendly too.

Looking for a cafe just off the A1 to break a journey south. Found Little Acorn from Trip Advisor. A little tricky to locate (hidden behind the Royal Oak)! Proprietor was very friendly. She produced two great mugs of tea and a selection of lovely looking cakes. We chose the blueberry sponge which was fresh and delicious. All was very reasonably priced too. Noted for future journeys!

Moved to the local area recently and found this lovely cafe tucked away behind the pub in Roxton . Our first visit was for Sunday breakfast, the food is delicious and freshly cooked, tea and coffee piping hot just how we like it. I think we will have many more visits.

Ann and Kevin are excellent hosts that make a great atmosphere. The homemade food is of the highest quality and priced so well. Definitely going to go back time and again when in the area. Five stars .

What a fab find!....whether breakfast, lunch, evening meal or just tea and homemade cake this is a great place to eat. Your greeted by front of house Ann with a welcoming smile and who always has time for a quick chat. Behind the scenes Kevin who has cooked around the world conjours up food that makes you always want more, and can adapt to suit your dietary needs......I always pop in now when passing.

Hi just visited this cafe again after dog walking.I can honestly say every time we have been for coffee ,snacks or one of their brilliant breakfasts we have never been disappointed . We even tried their curry evening on a Wednesday which again was really good . Noticed they are doing a fixed price menu in the evening as well so can honestly say it’s a little gem well worth a visit

Lovely fresh food. Perfect for a takeaway lunch - fresh baguettes, wraps, Indian samosas, croissants, pasties and a fab selection of cakes/tray bakes too! Hot and cold drinks. A good choice for vegetarians too. We found their lovely little shop by accident a while back now, and have been popping in regularly ever since. The owners are warm friendly people. Definitely worth a visit if you want a delicious tasty lunch.

What a lovely place. Held a Golden Wedding Party here. Staff couldn’t have been any more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back for the next party.

I’ve been working in the area and have mainly been going in for coffee and maybe a bit of cake. The coffee is good and the cakes have been lovely, however today I ordered the Reuben bagel and it was amazing. So good it made me want to write a review. Honestly the only downside is I’ve left it so long to order one of their bagels.

Ground Floor Coffee Shop in Bedford is a lovely hidden gem inside King's House. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with plenty of comfy seating—perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. Their coffee, roasted locally by Wooden Hill Coffee Company, is excellent, and I love that they support tree planting in the Forest of Marston Vale. The food is fresh and tasty too—my pulled pork and apple sandwich was spot-on, and the cakes are all locally sourced. They also offer Teapigs teas, a loyalty card for regulars, and eco-friendly packaging. Whether you're staying a while or grabbing something via Uber Eats, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in Bedford.
