Lovely village pub with awesome landlady and great beer

We have eaten in dining room many times, always super tasty and nice and hot. But today due to illness, Carol kindly did us a fabulous take away, generous and tasty as always. Throughly recommend this marvelous pub, and wonderful staff. Many thanks Christine and Pat x

Visited for the first time for lunch today. The service was excellent; even though it was a busy lunchtime our delicious food and drinks were served very quickly by thoroughly professional staff. A nice feature I've not come across before was as you ordered your food and they selected it on their screen, it was clearly displayed on another screen facing you so that you could see and double check your order.

A group of ten of us had a table for lunch and enjoyed the good verity of food and the staff were very helpful

Myself and my husband had the Sunday Carvery and I can honestly say it was amazing - the cauliflower cheese was the best I’ve ever had!! Highly recommended

Visited with my husband and two year old grandson. Purchased two ham and cheese toasties with side salad and slice of fruit cake, to take out. This cost just over twenty pounds. The toasties were on white cheap sliced bread with low grade ham, which were underdone. Fruitcake was dry. Unbelievable. Will not be going again. Just glad that we didn't need a drink!! .
