The best restaurants serving British food in Leicester East Midlands

Popped in today for a Sunday lunch. Was met, as always, with a smile and a friendly face. Maddie showed us to our table, ensured we were settled and happy and made us feel very welcome. She was efficient at taking our order and even when I asked for a glass of water due to feeling unwell it was on my table before I could blink! Fantastic. Food was then brought out to us very quickly by Sim, who doubled checked everything was okay and then checked back to make sure we were happy with the food. 10/10 service from both of these ladies. Will 100% return. Thankyou for a lovely Sunday lunch.

the staff are polite and very friendly, the vegetables were fresh and incredibly delicious. I was particularly impressed with the hummus, it was the best I've had and probably will ever have

Staff were very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend it if you are passing. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We made the café / bar late in the afternoon and the young lady there was the first class. She was pleasant and helpful willing and knew what she needed to do to keep people moving.

Lovely friendly staff 1st visit yesterday lunchtime had a cooked breakfast staff cheery and friendly and cater for likes/dislikes they swapped some menu items such as beans and tomato for extra toast was no trouble for them I will return they have large varied menu for all tastes

Literalmente, frente al centro comercial Fosse Park, que es igualmente maravilloso para sus compras, reuniones y terapia minorista 😀. Set con un hermoso espacio para reunirse, explorar los alrededores y estirar las piernas de sus mascotas. El personal es muy profesional, cortés y realmente parece que están orgullosos de los servicios que están proporcionando. Siempre limpio, brillante y muy atractivo, y como muso yo mismo la lista de canciones 🎵 es una colección de canciones positivas para crear un ambiente audible relajado. Muy recomendable 👌 👍

We visited here today and ordered 5 drinks and 3 mince pies. Everything came out one at a time, about 5 minutes apart with the last drink arriving at our table 35 minutes after we arrived, hence the first 2 drinks to be served had been well and truly polished off by then.I watched my coffee sit for 5 minutes after the 'coffee' button had been pressed, getting cold before it was given to me. It was not that busy either. Very disappointing, dread to think how long food would take, shall not be returning.

Very nice! I ordered a large breakfast, my wife ordered a cheese and ham toastie and we had cheesy chips to share with an Americana and a Pepsi max. £25. The sausages were like chipshop sausages, very tasty. Thick quality bacon. Fried eggs cooked to perfection. Toast perfect. Fried mushrooms were a little greasy but it is a fry up! The toilets were clean and tidy, the staff were on the ball. Clean tables, good service. The restaurant layout is standard but tidy. One thing I really didn't like was the front windows. Covered in condensation. It's always like this and makes me feel claustrophobic. Also, from the outside it gives an unappealing look. Personally I'd get this sorted ASAP. Other than that, I LIKE!

Brilliant food, drinks offers and entertainment! Best in Beaumont leys, always such a happy welcoming atmosphere and staff are great! Would definitely recommend Ros is amazing work so hard for all the customers

Leicester had a good few shisha spots around the city but then it took a bit of a dive as some closed down and some new ones just were not up to the usual standards. The opening of Bukhoor Lounge was needed, a great little spot just outside of Highfields. Each time I’ve been the shisha has been great quality, and the place has a nice vibe to it. Also has a lot of parking which is rare for shisha places.
