Another fantastic time at Taste Restaurant within Leicester College. There was an amazing choice for the lunch time menu for the four of us.. Everyones choice was delicious, presented beautifully & a very high standard. We loved everything but I would like to specially mention the panna cotta, it was the best. The staff are so friendly, happy, polite & smart. The table was set lovely, top marks to everyone on the day. Always a pleasure to visit , looking forward already to our next lunch, which is very soon.

If this place was bigger, it somehow just wouldn't work (maybe it will but I like the chic nature of it!). Literally a tiny bakery, churning out great treats. I come here on occasion specifically to gather up a handful of vegan treats for my other half whom is lactose intolerant - and there is a serious lack of good quality nice tasting bakeries that cater for this - vegan cupcakes get boring. Their stuff is inventive, tastes great (and I eat the same treats myself), they have a great Insta presence showcasing the specials (of which I always miss - be warned to queue on a Saturday morning!) and whilst my only bad point is missing out on special lines as I'm there too late, I kinda like the exclusivity feeling and the non-production line nature of it - like a throwback to the older days. If you want the merch, get up early and go get it while you can. Stepping in and seeing the pricing of the goodies does halt you in your step for a split-second - however, stepping out of their bubble and remembering what chain coffee stores charge for their treats (which don't even compare as they're all bought-in products - which mean shelf-life and lots of unnecessary ingredients too) - their prices are actually very reasonable for their small production batches of what they make. It means my partner can enjoy some very innovative treats that she otherwise wouldn't be able to (without a tummy ache) and I do feel their ingredient quality tells the story, especially when fruit is involved in the treat. Service wise, can't fault it. Go in, smiles all round, select your treats, it gets boxed up nicely for you, pay, and get out. No faff (unless awaiting a coffee). Everyone there is fully clued up on the ingredients/allergens of the treats. Been picking something up here now for over 7 years on odd occasion - and watching the popularity of the bakery soar - used to visit a client directly opposite often in 2018. If I lived closer I'd probably have a tab with them - but definitely think living over 6 miles away is good thing for us - my missus especially!

It is a cozy café with a pleasant atmosphere. The syaff are very friendly and professional. I recommend their gravy potato dish, and their hot drinks like hot chocolate. It is very comfortable for you to seat and do your stuff on laptop or have a chat with your colleagues.

A very warm and welcoming place , staff are always polite and are willing to go the extra mile in order to satisfy all coustomers, There is a range of tasty dishes on the menu , we would reccomend scampi and chips or the full english breakfast. Extremely good value . and very clean

It was the first time I had been. I went with the women in the family 🥳 It was great from start to finish. Food was lovely, I had the beef brisket Yorkie, chicken and stuffing roulade and then the set dessert was a profiterole and cheesecake. We did music bingo which was fantastic. The presenter was funny and engaging. The staff came pretty quick when requesting drinks and they played good music. Great night, would recommend

Llamado para disfrutar de bebidas de la Hora Feliz y pizza. La cocina estaba a punto de cerrar cuando llegamos, por suerte tomaron nuestro pedido de pizza. El personal era muy amable y servicial. Disfrutamos de bebidas happy hour incluyendo cócteles 2 por 1. Cuando llegó la comida estaba fresca y deliciosa. Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en Leicester.

Absolutely delightful evening, I visited here some 20 years ago and have been meaning to return ever since. Finally !! I'm not sure whether to say it was well worth the wait or scorn myself for missing out for so many years. One thing I can guarantee it will be more like 20 weeks for my next visit. Fabulous food, amazing atmosphere, splendid service. Thank you 👌

It was great for any occasion our senior Maya was great and looked after us very well the food was lovely and service was great

the staff are polite and very friendly, the vegetables were fresh and incredibly delicious. I was particularly impressed with the hummus, it was the best I've had and probably will ever have

Very nice! I ordered a large breakfast, my wife ordered a cheese and ham toastie and we had cheesy chips to share with an Americana and a Pepsi max. £25. The sausages were like chipshop sausages, very tasty. Thick quality bacon. Fried eggs cooked to perfection. Toast perfect. Fried mushrooms were a little greasy but it is a fry up! The toilets were clean and tidy, the staff were on the ball. Clean tables, good service. The restaurant layout is standard but tidy. One thing I really didn't like was the front windows. Covered in condensation. It's always like this and makes me feel claustrophobic. Also, from the outside it gives an unappealing look. Personally I'd get this sorted ASAP. Other than that, I LIKE!

Fabulous place. Friendly helpful staff, calm relaxing atmosphere where you can take time without having to rush. The tuna mayo salad sandwich is the best I have ever had and it is just great place to eat, drink coffee, and be. A little haven in the middle of the city. Thank you.

I really like the nice shops here, plenty for all , good variety, and nice to see new shops now open, to replace a few we have sadly lost, well worth a vist.
