Visited here as it was highly recommended on TripAdvisor so thought I’d give it a go. We had the breakfast bap and ciabatta. Food wise it was really nice but not sure if it was a local supplier as there is a butchers on site. If they are then this should be advertised. People love eating local produce. The main thing that let it down was the cleanliness. With coronavirus going around and on the rise we now expect premises to be super clean. There was so much dust on window ledges, plug sockets and tops of seating. A lot of flies around too - you really could do with a fly killer front of house. I sincerely hope there’s one in the kitchen. All in all it was a nice morning. Nice coffee and nice staff. Just needs some more attention to detail

Came for breakfast and asked if I could swap a sausage for an egg because the sausage was only 65% meat and would be full of carbs. I told them I could not eat carb rich food they said they could take the sausage off and they said no, but would remove the sausage but still charge for it and I’d have to pay extra for an egg. I thought dietary requirements could be catered for, but not here, definitely won’t use this place again🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬but no stars

This was a really lovely little place to have morning coffee, we had done a lot of travelling this day, stopped off in Lutterworth & superb morning coffee & cake was on offer here. The staff were so nice & very very friendly.

Many of my friends have raved about this restaurant and we had never been. So after realising it was closing, we just had to book. It was not what we expected - bright lights and bare tables. Not our thing. The arrival greeting was ok but not special and no explanation or interest in us as 1st timers. The food was good and very tasty but it was expected at the price. The wine choice was a different matter. We order one red and one white, not cheap. The white wine arrived by a very young waiter who poured the wine with no option to taste and it was NOT cold. Unbelievable! When asked why it was not cold he said there was ice in the ice bucket. Not a good start to the meal, The waitress leaned over me every time to serve my friend and they didn’t offer new cutlery for each course. Maybe they have lost interest now it’s closing, very sad as we had heard such excellent reviews.

We visited Morton’s recently and the service was very poor - not what it used to be at all. We sat outside with our toddlers, which is a lovely clean space with lots of available seating (Monday afternoon). However, be prepared to be an inconvenience to the waitresses if sitting outdoors. We arrived at 12:10 and 20mins later someone came to take our drinks order (on requesting they do so after being ignored) she understood that we’d also like food but said we couldn’t order yet - another 35mins went by (gone 1pm) and we again requested to order food/ see what the wait would be, which was the standard 25/30mins. However after already being there for an hour and had not put the food order in, we decided to leave. Our pot of tea for two was on the pricey side of £6!! The terrible service has really put us off and we won’t be returning.
