this chippy is the best chippy i have ever tasted, big shoutout the staff as they are so kind and friendly and welcoming, the chips are delicious which they are crispy and tasty, the curry sauce is so so tasty.

Popped in for Cappuccino with friend, decided to have a chicken wrap too which was delicious, lovely warm and friendly cafe

About to go into the shop to discuss a birthday cake but was put off by the angry staff shouting rude comments to a lady who was videoing a mishap on bath Street not sure the lady was right or wrong but she never argued back with them but the 2 ladies who was helping a fellow shop keeper pick stuff up where VERY rude and aggressive towards the lady and several times repeatedly went up to the lady's face in a very intimidating way

Its 1 of the best cafes in ilkeston and the food is freshly cooked to order the drinks are nice too and all the staff are very friendly polite too and other customers are friendly too who come into the cafe

Always enjoyed Georges but today the chips were not the best, every mouthful of peas I ate had hard peas in it, and the chicken burger was hard on oneside but the other side i wasnt sure it was cooked properly, really not impressed today for a £35 order ☹️

Food cooked by proper ladies who really no how to do it bless m all

Brilliant service...loved fuel bar and orange juice ...staff good...good ambience ....I did take away ...I would highly recommend

Very disappointed with the food. Always had good food previously but it was awful on this occasion. Ordered sizzling tandoori, plate was hot only, peppers & onions tasted like had been defrosted & placed on plate, no flavour! Waitress kindly offered alternative, ordered another chicken sizzler, exactly same issue, not sizzling and chicken dry, peppers & onions again bland, not like previous meals. Chips also luke warm. Waitresses are brilliant but Chef needs some training so won't be visiting again anytime soon
