Mundy Arms Pub in Erewash

I visit this pub on a regular basis. The food was tasty and delicious. The bar staff are always very friendly as are the floor staff. However, big shout out to Katie who always has a smile on her face, a bubbly personality and goes above and beyond for all customers!

I eat here every now and again when I visit my niece. I have to say yet again everything was just perfect. The bar staff through to the waiting staff and food were amazing. The food came out lovely and hot and we didn’t have to wait too long either. Would definitely recommend anyone to take a visit and see for yourselves.

Always a friendly welcome here,the staff are lovely nothing is too much trouble for them,the food food is good and it always looks very clean and tidy,overall a great experience.

A family group of 11 visited the Mundy Arms for a celebration meal on a Thursday evening. We were slightly late due to road works in the area but it was no problem and our table was ready and waiting for us. Our party ranged in age from 8 to 72 but is was not an issue as we all found the menu to our liking and soon placed our orders. There was a nice atmosphere in the room and it was not long before our meals arrived. We had a wide range of dishes which came well presented and served by the very helpful and courteous staff. All 11 of us really enjoyed our meals, cleared our plates and were well satisfied. We were so full that only 2 of us managed dessert! An excellent evening all round. We were very well looked after by the convivial Tracey and her colleagues and will certainly return if we are in the area again. Many thanks.

Sticky tables, slow service, over cooked poor quality food. Hope I caught them on a bad day and it isn’t like that when you go.

Another lovely evening at the Mundy Arms. This place never fails to impress. We went for a late meal, and the service and food were both excellent! We both had the chicken katsu banquet, it was huge! Lots of flavour and great presentation. We were particularly impressed with the service from Lindsey & Harrison, nothing was too much trouble and they made a constant effort to ensure we were happy with everything.

Decided last minute to take my daughter to the Mundy Arms for a drink. Lovely staff and a great range of drinks. Will definitely be back!

This place was spot on for a last minute lunch. Because it was busy, the food took a while to appear, but it was tasty and hot - cheap and cheerful. Pub food for hungry travellers, or whoever fancies a ride out for lunch. If you can book, I recommend that.

Meal was as expected for a Hungary Horse pub. Allowed to change chips for jacket potatoes which is great when on holiday as many places only doing chips at moment! Could only do this when ordering at bar though not through Greene King app.

I visited yesterday and I couldn't fault the food or the customer service. Our food was brought out by a girl named Lucy, and although rushed of her feet she was very attentive and made sure we was happy with our meals. Never been to a place where every single member of staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. From girl who greeted us to bar staff and kitchen staff. We were traveling and had dogs so wanted to eat in our camper which they sorted for us brilliantly. Food is good and what you’d expect from Hungry Horse but bosses of Hungry Horse need to acknowledge the staff here. Credit to your brand !

Popped in again today for a drink and a bite to eat. Once again, I cannot fault the place. The food was lovely and the team can't do enough for you. The place feels busy but well managed. I will definitely be back again and again.

We visited the Mundy Arms yesterday for my daughters birthday meal. The experience was great. The staff there went out of there way to make sure we had a good time. They even decorated the table with birthday balloons and banners before our arrival. Food was spot on!

Im Sceptical of coming out while the final was going on from what I had seen on tv of the mass gatherings and no social distancing, but the staff here made sure people were sat down and socially distanced and were in control of the situation. even when we scored!

This place has it absolutely spot on! Lovely food, friendly staff & covid safe procedures! We came here to eat with our two children today. We were able to order everything from our table by downloading the app. It was easy to use, thanks to Lucy for talking us through it! Food came out within 15 minutes of ordering, and it was delicious. I highly recommend the ‘mix it up’ Thank you for a lovely experience, we will be back!

We visits today for a meal with a few friends. We absolutely love this pub. The staff are amazing and the food is amazing.

Friday deal is amazing! Me and a few mates came to the pub and although they were really busy they managed to squeeze us in, we all mainly came for beers but Lindsey told us about the buy one get one free burger and we couldn’t turn it down. The quality was way above our expectations for the price and the beer was as good as anywhere.

Been waiting to get back into the pubs since they closed, outside just wasn't the same. and I have to say the first beer I had inside was amazing and truly worth the wait

Stayed in attached hotel for two nights and had two great meals here. Good portion sizes and tasty food. The service was great with friendly attentive staff. Particularly Sheryl who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meals she is a credit to the company.

Went in for a Sunday dinner today and I have to say the food was excellent. I had the roast chicken and my husband had the gammon both meals came out piping hot and tasted amazing. Can't wait to return next week!

I visited the Mundy Arms with a couple of colleagues the other evening. The pub was very busy but there was a nice atmosphere. Our food was delicious and the manager "Sean" went out of his way to look after our party. We can't wait to go back.

First time eating out since lockdown and what a lovely experience it was. All safety measures put in place and felt very relaxed and safe. A great yet busy atmosphere. Staff all wearing the correct PPE, a massive Thankyou to Lucy who looked after us during our visit she couldn’t do enough for us and hats off to her, running around rushed off her feet in the heat, she’s a credit to the team! We visited the Mundy arms this afternoon for a pub meal. It's the first time we have ventured out since coronavirus. The team went out of their way to make us feel safe throughout our visit. We will be returning very soon.

Went to the pub on a sunny day, and it was very organized, the food came out quick and tasted amazing!

We visited yesterday for our first trip out since lockdown ended. The team were lovely and our food was delicious. Social distancing was being observed by the staff but it did not spoil our experience. Can't wait to come back.

Well worth the money albeit when you get two bad steaks it spoilt my Husbands dinner . Value for money otherwise, service and staff was really good

Thought it be a good idea to call in after work and there was a offer of 40% off mains, upon being shown to our table we was placed down near the kitchen, all the wall had no plaster on and to put it politely it smelt so bad of urine, this is ment to be after a refurb not too long ago? Plus isnt near any toilets too?! Also on the table next to us the family thought it was ok to let their child climb up onto the wall and hang over it into where I was sat making all sorts of noises, I'm sorry I know its not the pubs fault but the parents, but maybe if you see a couple come in, maybe not place them next to a family with loads of kids?! Cant say I will be returning, past couple of times haven't been great! Shame cause it was once a really nice place to go and have a good meal after work.

Myself and my children had a lovely meal no issues whatsoever. The meals was excellent and all came together and cooked perfect.

Visit with my partner, we found or visit to be very nice, by this I mean a nice dining experience, helpful and friendly staff members and excellent quality of food which was great value for money!

We came today for the first time. When we arrived we were shown to our table by a friendly lady. The pub was very busy, but we were served quickly and effectively by the manager at the bar. He took our order, and engaged in conversation with our children, even though he was clearly very busy. The food was very nice and came out within 20 minutes. All staff we came into contact with were lovely, the pub was clean and tidy despite being busy. We look forward to returning again soon!

This is one of the best places I’ve ever been the meals and puddings were huge the staff were polite and they gave you everything u wanted when u wanted at a very very very reasonable price I would definitely recommend it!!
