Popped in for Cappuccino with friend, decided to have a chicken wrap too which was delicious, lovely warm and friendly cafe

Nice clean family run cafe with a heart! Warm welcome, tasty food, great coffee. What more could you want? More! So I visited on my second day in Ilkeston too. Try the omelettes. Special diets catered for. Undercover dog friendly table can be arranged or sit outside on a nice day.

Absolutely lovely here! Went today with my friend, and the cappuccino was so good and the people who work here are really nice and friendly, the guy was very funny too! Will for sure come in again! Thanks so much x

Lovely Cafe, nice atmosphere with Lina, Paul and staff serving great great food and drink. Enjoyed chatting with the friendly clientele whilst viewing the excellent paintings of local artists.

Spotlessly clean, well laid out little cafe serving a very good cup of coffee, do not be alarmed if when you visit the here other customers start chatting to you, its what they do.

Visiting again from the states. Paul and Le Na are always welcoming. It’s Ilkeston’s version of ‘Cheers’. Lovely fresh food and delicious coffee! See you next time we are in town.

I choose is a great cafe, people are friendly, it has a special atmosphere and worth going to regularly as they change the art works on show every couple of weeks. Food excellent and I especially love the cooked breakfasts

The cooked breakfasts are fantastic - you can have what you want and how you want it, so much choice, fantastic value and brilliant friendly atmosphere- the local artists display their work do there is always something on the wall to see too

Could not recommend enough. Had a amazing mint hot chocolate with a delicious sweet waffle n ice cream. Great atmosphere down to the welcoming staff and owners. Thinking of making it a regular thing when in town, beats a Costa any day!

Ordered frappes and they were delicious! We had a seat outside because of our dog and the guy was kind enough to get some water for the dog as well. Great service overall!

Just popped in for a light lunch. Had a jacket potato with cheese that was cooked to perfection. Had the mango milkshake which is amazing.

From J Boy of Derby A small cafe downstairs upstairs is a gallery, but the welcome given to the customers from I presume are the owners is first class in every way plus the fact the coffee is good and the scones delicious with plenty of butter and jam. Situated near the market place there is only a small area for seating plus another couple of tables outside. First class place will call again when in this town.

I often pop in for a cooked breakfast and pot of tea, and they remember just how I like the eggs cooked, and that my wife prefers soya milk in her tea. Service couldn't be better, and value is brilliant.

A great venue for coffee and food, but as an extra you are always welcomed by the staff and the customers alike. To add to the experience their is a wonderful art gallery that is open to the public free of charge.

I visited today with my mum for the first time and was so impressed with how spotless and immaculate the cafe was. Our waiter was lovely and the menu had plenty of choice. The food was very tasty and reasonable.

Este es un pequeño café local llamado. Los batidos, café y tarta son geniales y el sgaff son excepcionalmente amable y atento. También sirve como una galería para artistas y un espacio ocasional de rendimiento por músicos locales. Vale la pena una visita por sí misma, con la ventaja que usted está apoyando una pequeña empresa local en vez de una personalidad corporation.

Very tasty smoothies and lovely food to choose from as well as friendly staff. The gallery upstairs is nice to look at even if you don't want anything to eat or drink, you can just go to browse.

My partner and I stopped here whilst waiting for her nail appointment, doors were open early and we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff! Nice fresh coffee and my partner had a lovely smoothie, all made from real fruits and no substitutes! Would highly recommend, great little cafe!

What a gem on Bath Street, have taken my mum here on several occasions, Lina and Paul could not be more friendly and welcoming, many of the customers are regulars and there is always a good conversation and a few jokes to entertain you while you relax. The coffee is excellent and the cake too, I am also partial to a their mushroom omelette, fresh and tasty. Will be a regular no doubt!

This is a small cafe situated at the top of Bath Street, offering you somewhere to rest your legs and arms from carrying bags of shopping up Bath Street! The owners are genuinely lovely people whose prime concern is your satisfaction and pleasure and cannot be more accommodating to your needs and desires. I can honestly say that the service you receive here is second to none, as they are so very friendly and hospitable. As they call out to customers by their first names and ask them "would you like your usual, Sir?" it is clear to see that regular customers have come to love the small, cosy cafe as much as I have and it is easy to see why. U Choose Smoothie Bar offers you a unique experience of being able to drink premium Illy coffee or super fresh smoothies, eat light bites whilst being surrounded by artwork of local artists. Pictures and paintings done the walls around you which is able to be bought and a small display is shown in one of the windows of a featured artist or theme. Be sure to venture upstairs to view more art and exhibitions where there is usually something that children can get involved in and have a go at.The cafe can get busy due to it's cosy size but you can nurse a coffee for a couple of hours and not feel as though you really ought to get a wriggle on and it is a great meeting point for friends. There is nothing negative to say about this place.

Quite small cafe offering smoothies/drinks/sandwiches/cakes etc. Service from staff was good, cafe decoration needs a little attention but overall quite a pleasent place to have a drink/eat. Lots of pictures on the walls from local artists for sale and gallery upstairs.
