¡OMG! La comida era increíble! Siendo griego me sentí como si estuviera en casa y aún mejor! Lo que sea que comí estaba delicioso! Sin duda volveré una y otra vez y lo recomiendo encarecidamente!

Fabulous steaks but let down a little bit by the accompanying sauces. Got served this weird truffle gravy that was absolutely disgusting. Asked for pepper sauce and that was extremely bland . Similarly had to ask for chips without truffle oil. Putting truffle oil on everything is a trendy fad that should die. Very good service though.

I had an excellent time and the oyster deal is fantastic ! Mark was a perfect gentleman, thank you !

Ate here with my other half recently for a special occasion meal. For a starter and main each, shared dessert, half bottle of wine, two bottles of sparkling water and service, the bill was £550. Now, the service was excellent, and the food of the highest quality, and I get that hotel restaurants in London are going to be “expensive plus” but this wasn’t a £550 meal. It was a high £200s meal. Even with hotel overheads I can’t figure out where the extra £250-or-so came from. All this is immaterial because if you’re going to eat at the Connaught Grill you don’t care what I think. You’ll have an excellent meal but you won’t get value for money.

I came to Gaucho Picadilly on Wednesday evening (9th April) and had a 5.15pm reservation and would just like to sincerely pass on my gratitude to Alex, our waiter- he was so kind, attentive and warm! He made sure every part of our meal was enjoyed and kept topping up our water and also kindly took initiative to ask the Chef if there was something that could be made for me for dessert as I had seen something with Coconut on the lunch set menu that wasn't available at the time. He really went above and beyond and I was compelled to write a glowing review of him and pass on my thanks once again,

So disappointed! We used to love coming here but the new menu has very limited options!! I can’t believe how much they have removed. We almost just left… Now they have separated ‘mains’ and ‘sides’ so they can cheekily make a meal cost twice as much :( the portion sizes have decreased too - 4 small burnt ends is not a portion! A small piece of chocolate brownie with one scoop of ice cream… is not a chocolate sundae! The decoration has changed to a basic diner - no family feel anymore. Been coming here for 8 years… will now need to find a new place to eat.

6 of us having dinner for husband birthday who enjoyed 500g t-bone. Others had the burgers and the picanto steak. We shared the 12 tacos too. All very tasty! Shared 3 desserts too. Good wine. Overall, I will return again.

Dålig samordning av mat och dryck beställningar. Beställde fördrink som kom in samtidigt som förrätten, vi hade beställ vin till maten men kom inte in alls utan vi fick påminna om den när vi fick varmrätten, verkligen inte okej. Hade högre förväntningar på smaker då det är en Gordon Ramsay restaurang. Maten smakade okej men inte mer.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and we’re not disappointed. Great setting and the warm welcome from the doorman to the receptionist to the waiters/waitresses was superb. The menu was good and lots of choice. Be aware- If you go for brunch no desserts offered but to be fair we were full!! The food is beautifully presented and the plates are served with the restaurant logo facing the correct way on the plates and they remember who ordered what so no asking whose food is whose!! Gluten free bread roll was tasty . All the dishes were delicious and would definitely go back. Loved the main course chicken dishes. The whipped humous was a favourite too! Not cheap but you are in a great part of London and it is so worth it. Loved the cocktails too! Thank you!
