This is a great venue if you want to lose weight! The food did turn up eventually after we pointed out the length of time we had been waiting

In my opinion, the culinary offerings were satisfactory, albeit not exceeding expectations, particularly considering the establishment's association with the renowned chef Gordon Ramsay. Our family outing was enhanced by the complimentary children's menu. While the pricing was undoubtedly substantial, it was within anticipated parameters. The initial service was adequate, however, the waiter's premature presentation of the check prior to the completion of our meal was perceived as impolite. Furthermore, the ambiance lacked the customary background music, resulting in an uncomfortably quiet and monotonous atmosphere. Despite the satisfactory culinary experience, the overall impression does not warrant a repeat visit, although the experience itself held some value.

We had an amazing experience at Gordon Ramsay ‘s Bar and Grill. The food was high quality and delicious. The only thing better than the food, was the service! Our waiter BT was super friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell that BT loves what he does and he goes above and beyond d beyond to give the guests a wonderful experience. It was a lovely experience all around. Highly recommend!

Staff and food where excellent, we had to wait for 30 mins past our booking time before our table was free and we received our starters free because of this. We where directed next door to wait in Gordon Ramsay's other restaurant The Crazy Cat where the prices of their drinks where seriously expensive. On being seated in the bar and grill we found the restaurant to be very busy and crowded with football on large TV screens which added to the overall noise. Staff where very attentive and food was delivered quickly, for my wife and I a trip to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant is a treat but this was not, sorry but we found the experience underwhelming and something of a disappointment.

We visited Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill for the 2nd week in a row and we never imagined that their service and hospitality could have superseded our prior experience but they did. My colleague & I are in the service industry so we can truly appreciate extraordinary customer service from the heart. Staff were all so delightful and kind. We had the most incredible customer service experience. Rusal greeted us at the entrance and seated us at the most beautiful table. BT interacted with us even though he was not our server & made our experience memorable. I misplaced my receipt so I don’t have the name of our server but I hope this review can identify him. We were excited to go to a Gordon Ramsey Restaurant after watching him on so many shows. We ordered the Beef Wellington and it was good, a little rare and pricey - 120pounds. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was wonderful. There’s a small bar behind it that we heard was amazing but we didn’t get to go there.

We had the most lovely dinner for my niece’s 8th birthday celebration. It was the perfect ending to our Taylor Swift concert weekend. I cannot say enough about the wonderful service and staff. So kind and thoughtful and five stars!

Amazing. Our waiter BT was fabulous! We had him twice! He pepped our jet lagged selves. Great with our children, great with the adults! Made our services special. Food was great. Knives could have been sharper both nights.

MAGNIFICENT service by BT! Our family arrived for a late lunch and received a 5 star treatment - from the superb food to the magnificent service. Our 8 year old was treated like a king, and even saw the workings of the kitchen courtesy of our waiter, BT. A must visit!

The food at Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill was very well prepared and the service was attentive without being overly intrusive. I ordered a 10 oz ribeye steak with sides of fries and heirloom tomatoes. The steak was prepared exactly as I requested—medium rare. The sear was nice and the meat had rested so it was juicy. The fries were crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside. The heirloom tomatoes were a delightful surprise. There were three different types of fresh tomatoes dressed in oil with small dabs of goats curd and olive crumbs. The large amount of oil was unexpected, but the tomatoes did not eat greasy. The goat curd and olive crumbs added necessary salt to the dish. My friend ordered the burger and he thought it was delicious. We finished with the sticky toffee pudding which was excellent. The restaurant surprised me with a birthday dessert which was a slice of rich brownie. If I may be so bold as to offer two suggestions for improvement, first, entry to the restaurant was a mystery, since there was no sign on the exterior or formal area for the front of house on the interior. The restaurant presents as a strange side room to Chef Ramsay’s Lucky Cat restaurant. A more complete experience would have a formal entrance or direction to enter from inside the hotel. My second suggestion would be to put some garnish on the steak plate. The steak was literally served alone on a white plate. I appreciate spartan/reductionist style but there is a difference between thoughtfully spare and plain, and the steak looked very lonely on the plate. Nevertheless the steak was impeccably prepared. I fully understand that this was a steakhouse, but a half slice of grilled tomato or a side of broccolini would have added dimension and color to the plate. These are minor suggestions that would make the experience more complete. I would not hesitate to return.

BT was great. Food was excellent. I highly recommend.

Unfortunately the main meal was not great. We had the pasta with Kale and egg. The egg white wan not at all cooked and therefore slimy and not pleasant on the pallet. There was a general lack of staff , and the service slow. Not a great experience.

I had an incredible dinner at Mayfair. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. The beef wellington as cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor. The cheesecake was a delightful end to a fantastic meal. Highly recommend!

Don’t order any steak…. Swrvice was good. Fish crudo was nice. Steak should not be on the menu….horrible

Ate there twice last week. Very relaxed atmosphere with very pleasant attentive staff. Reasonably priced giving good value (if reviewer thinking 75 pounds is a lot for dinner….might want to avoid eating out). Great food and consistent service. Recommend highly and will return.

Came for the beef wellington- which was great. Lobster roll have very little lobster. Sushi starter was average. Service poor- didn’t take us thru menu or give us the options- didn’t know until we finished that they had a Sunday roast option. Were told it was because we didn’t ask???? Very little ambiance. Definitely not worth the price.

Burger was over cooked. Lobster roll had very little lobster and walnut salad had very little apples and grapes.

Booked here hoping to enjoy a lovely Sunday roast with my mum. I've dined in a few gordon ramsay restaurants and the standard is always excellent, however we were seriously dissapointed last night. We were seated next to two tables that both had young kids running around and climbing next to us - I'm glad the restaurant is kid friendly, but we didn't choose the restaurant to sit next to screaming children so should have been offered to sit somewhere else. Service was slow, one of our servers was very polite and charming, but two different servers asked us about dietary requirements, which my mother has a hazelnut allergy, therefore I wasn't feeling confident they were communicating. We were also asked to order drinks twice. My starter arrived before we had our drinks, and I wasn't given cutlery for my main until the server realised I had no cutlery. I understand team briefings are essential to a smooth service, but I don't feel this should be conducted infront of the guests that are waiting for service. Once 7pm hit, we observed other guests getting much better service than we did, and were offered things like the summer cocktail menu, which we would have loved to see. I have been a restaurant manager for 10 years, and expected so much more from a gordon ramsay restaurant. Was very dissapointed.

Food was standard, nothing special. Music was way too loud and restaurant had seen better times. Felt kind of fast-food-restaurant trying to be something special.

Das Essen ist nichts außergewöhnliches. Das Gebotene hat nichts mit dem berühmten Fernsehkoch zu tun. Sehr schade!!!!!!

Very disappointed to be honest. Quite a mediocre place for Ramsay's standards. Not impressed at all. Would not recommend it.

The staff there go out of the way to ensure you have a top-notch experience. For example, our waiter (BT) asked us where we were from and was this the first time coming to the restaurant. Not only did he give recommendations and ensure that our food was amazing, he brought my son back to the kitchen and introduced him to the entire staff. The next time we are in London, that will be our go to restaurant!

The food was very well prepared. The steak presentation was extremely lacking, meat on a plate that was it. Service definitely needs to be improved. They appeared short-handed as the Asst Managers were taking orders. The service started fine but then an obviously “more important” party showed as my server (one of the asst managers) and the other manager became more occupied by a party that was seated across the lobby in a private room from the restaurant. They took turns constantly running to them. I had to request someone to take my dessert order, I had to refill my own water glass, and I had to ask for steak knife cutlery. I’m marking I would recommend but it is up in the air.

Considering the name and the location we had higher expectations but this level of food and service you could almost get anywhere .Nothing special

The restaurant serves a simple steakhouse menu with limited entrees and even more limited side dishes. Steaks are cooked over a flame grill, similar to Burger King. There is no hardwood grill or smoke flavor to be had. I’ve had better steaks at casual chain restaurants. Sadly, there was nothing special about this experience. The dining room was chaotically noisy, played horrible music from the 70’s, and the servers were scarcely available. The pain just kept on coming as we finished and waited at our table of dirty dishes for the check for over half an hour… At its best, this place would still be a miss and very poor value.

This place is amazing!! We visited on our first night to London and BT and Fotaq were brilliant. They tended to our every need and recommended fabulous wines from Tuscany. They even took our 12 year old to the kitchen and taught him hands on how to make the Beef Wellington. What an experience - he’ll never forget it. The food was amazing and the wine superb with the help of Fotaq helping us choose the perfect vintage. We went off to visit 4 other countries on our 21 day trip before returning to London. I asked my family where they would like to go to dinner next and hands down it was another visit to Gordon Ramsey’s bar and grill. We asked for BT’s section again and they seated us with him. They all remembered us and we were greeted like royalty. They didn’t disappoint the second time around either!! I highly recommend you visit this place- they will not disappoint!!!

Great food, atmosphere and service!! Simply the best!

I would say I thoroughly enjoyed the food but since it was Saturday night, it was crowded and the noise levels were a little too much for my liking... but overall fantastic experience!

Place was not what I expected. It looked more like a high end diner. Filet and rib eye was ok. Mac and cheese was good. Ordered bread for extra cost. No drinks and the bill was over 75 pounds! Way overpriced for the value. Nope won't be back.

We went for a lunch celebration and had a nice enough meal, but sadly felt it was not worth the price. Most of us had the rib eye steak and at £50 a go expected great things, but it was all rather average. My friend ended up with a thin sauce to accompany hers and two of the other steaks were poor cuts. The fries were great though and another friend enjoyed her side salad. Desserts and drinks were also good and the staff were friendly and attentive. I’d hoped to find a new favourite, but Hawksmoor still reigns supreme for me and is actually cheaper. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be back.

We dined on a Saturday night before Father's Day. The service was amazing, Khalid was very friendly and gave great recommendations. Thanks again! We had the Beef Wellington and Fiorentina steak to share, as well as Harissa spiced nuts. Both were amazing, and the steaks in both dishes were cooked beautifully. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing as well, definitely would recommend it. The food was a bit pricey, but not too much. Overall, definitely would recommend dining here. P.S. be aware that there is a 15% service charge. However, the staff definitely deserve it and even more!

Epic dinner celebrating 2 of my children’s birthdays. Beef Wellington did not disappoint. All our appetizers, sides, drinks and desserts were delicious. BT’s service was first class. A wonderful memorable meal in London!!

Lamb and rib dishes were great! Burgers and marrow mash were ok. Cocktail was nice. Service was super slow. We only got our meals 45 mins after being seated. Staff were friendly enough though, but food service was slow.

Not sure what to say…except we were very surprised. I’m not sure a restaurant with this much backing /celebrity ownership, would be serving such a lack lustre meal in Mayfair London. I guess I expected more… The 10 oz steak was served on a cold plate with no garnish, not anything to make the plate anymore appealing. Just a piece of meat on a plate. Very unappealing to the eye. Yes, the steak was very tasty and cooked to perfection, but if we as consumers first eat with our eyes, the meal was a complete let down. My guest had a lamb pie dish, that while tasty, was lack lustre in its presentation. The service was good & somewhat professional but not friendly or attentive in the least. It was very much ‘going through the motions’ . I am sorry to say that we were very disappointed and expected so much more. You can do so much better.

Bread was not Hot as mentioned Beef Wellighton , beef itself had not much flavor , cold ! Mac and cheese nothimg special Green Salad nothing special Mash was cold Fries were nothing special not even seasoned . Coffee was from a usual hotel machine . Cote de boeuf was not available for the second time . All in all , did not like the food !

Decided to try the sweetcorn ribs. Highly recommend them. Looking forward to trying to replicate at home. Waiter recommended we add the bone marrow mash to our steak and salad order. We were glad we did.

We spent over £400 on dinner for 2 adults and 2 children. Although the food was good, the sushi was nothing special and at £20 for 6 pieces, it was very expensive. The chairs scraped the floor when sitting or getting up, and the TV was showing Italian league football. Really brought the ambience down from what we thought would be a high-end Mayfair restaurant to a Sunday pub feel. Dress code was very relaxed, one guy in shorts and t-shirt. The staff were very helpful and friendly but with a tip of over £50 @ 15%, it made the evening very expensive. For that money there's better places to eat.

Food was worse than what you’d get at McDs. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and not warm. Halloumi was poor. Service took forever to bring out food and respond subsequently

Highly disappointed! Table not ready when we arrived and they didn’t seem prepared for that and so we were ushered next door with a lot of fuss which was discouraging (would have been nicer if they had called and we could have stayed in the bar we were at before) Food frankly disappointing- I have eaten at most GR restaurants and this was not the best offering Service was abrupt, they kept bringing the wrong things and then somehow that was our fault…. It was for my husband’s 60th birthday- very disappointed

Our wsiter BT was great! The food was mediocre. I’ve had much better hamburgers at other places and the caesar salad was average at best. The ribs were pretty good.

We’ve been many times before but this time, the food was terrible. The main course was tasteless, the pasta not cooked and the ribs were not good either. Very disappointing indeed.
