Worst Nandos ever poorly cooked

I am very pleased with the stuff,, the lady Manwella working very hard with a lovely smile, moving around making sure everyone is happy and satisfied, she is so sweet and hard working

Grumpy waitresses, food was served cold and toilets were dirty (not cleaned). Nandos is normally a nice experience, but please avoid this particular branch if you can, seems to be full of people that don't really want to be doing their job.

One of my favorite places that I ate at when I visited London. George provided excellent service & was so kind. I can’t wait to come back

Usually OK but in general you have no idea how long it will take to prepare your food. It would help to add a screen with the number of orders in the queue so I could tell if it's worth waiting.l at busy times. Currently waiting 50 minutes and still no idea when the food will arrive. Severs are doing the best they can. It's ala problem for the head office to solve

The food at Nandos is always tasty but I think I've hit my limit with the "order online, not my problem" approach to service that has infected so many places these days. I arrived with my elderly parents and we were seated fine, but the waitress didn't provide any menus. When I asked for a menu, she just looked annoyed and said "the menu is on the website". I asked again if she could give us a menu for me dad to read and she grudgingly went to the large stack of menus and gave me two to share between three. I am not sure why menus are such a precious commodity. We ordered on the website, which was fine, and I ordered a box of pastel de nata tarts, but the waitress then brought these tarts out on a plate first, before our starter, as if we would like to eat dessert first. When I asked for the box, she said they didn't have any of the boxes on the website, so in the end I had to take them in a takeaway box. Then she brought the drinks over and left the tray on our table so I had to go return that to her colleague. The food was fine in the end, though the chicken was a bit lukewarm. I don't want to single out any particular person as they're all probably paid quite badly and having a rubbish time. I think it's more that there was a generally sad atmosphere to this place compared to other Nandos I've visited. It probably doesn't help that it's in a quiet upstairs bit of a half-derelict shopping centre, with a repossessed shop opposite, in what seems to be another failed development by the City of London. There are other much better Nandos to visit than this one, and it's a shame that this usually consistent chain is having problems. I hope they can sort it out, or else just move to a less depressing location and give everyone there a fresh start.

Worst Nando’s we have been to. Went up to pay for the food after we paid the staff told us that it would actually take 25 minutes to cook the chicken and if that was ok, even though we’d paid already. Then, my meal came out 15 minutes before my friend’s meal. When my friend’s meal finally came out the chicken was not well done as requested so had to send it back. The halloumi was also undercooked. The drink machines were not working and the coke was flat. On top of that there were no straws so it was difficult to drink (paid £8 for the drinks)! The meal was definitely not worth the £43 we paid for two people! Because of all the issues we spoke to someone (not sure if they were management) and they asked for my details saying they would send me a voucher for the full amount the next day. It’s now been 5 days and we haven’t received any communication. Wouldn’t recommend going here at all.

The manager of the store was very friendly, came to talk to us and was always worried about whether we were missing something. Very good atmosphere

We went today!! We made a mistake when ordering, due to problems with our English!! They realized it and brought us to the table what we needed to ask for!! Excellent place, very clean, very concerned and very delicious food!

The places upon entering smelled horrible, like rotten cheese. Then the chicken gave my family and me food poisoning several hours later. Don't eat here. Horrible food.

Vegan chicken strip wrap was good. I wouldn’t consider any of it spicy. Salads were not bad. Unfortunately parts of the veg menu were unavailable so didn’t get to try the chickpea burger.

Simply not good enough! Would have my regular here though-find me in the corner….its always the vunerable that must suffer…

Me and my partner visited this restaurant and were greeted by lovely staff, one of the cleanest Nando’s I’ve been in. Very quick service, all round a nice meal. I will definitely come back to this Nando’s!

Despite having an 11am opening time I hsve on more than one occasion over thr last month got there for 11 and been made to wait up to 25 mins before the stores open, being a workman with an hour break this is never ideal, infact everyone waiting will be in the same boat wasting their lunch bresk waiting for a store to open that already should be. Ice machine is always out too. I'm a big nandos fan but unfortunately the one new change one isn't the greatest

Just want to give a massive shout out to George! He is amazing, the definition of excellent customer service and really has a passion for service 🤩 We have never experienced this type of hospitality at a Nandos ever! We will be back!

Good food, ambience, and vibrant music.

Waited for 40mins for my order on a weekday Wednesday night when the restaurant is not full. Asked for my order and they said they don't have it! I've obviously paid for it via the app and have proof of receipt. The waitress just drew a blank and walked away. Horrendous service and never coming back!! I've had a similar experience with the one at Clink Street and it's really disappointing to see this from Nandos. Would like to hear what concrete actions will be taken to correct this..

They have a wide selection of sauces available (and you’re going to need them since the chicken isn’t that heavily seasoned). The sides also need some help in the seasoning/flavor department. Otherwise it’s a decent lunch spot

Have been to loads of different nandos my whole life and generally I am a massive fan. This was the worst by far. 1/4 chicken was burnt and dry. 5 chicken wings were burnt and dry. All tasted of charcoal. Took 30 minutes to arrive at 6pm even though the place was not very busy at all. Very disappointed!

They a would not serve my small family with a baby. Multiple large groups sat after we came in. We were told it would be 30 minutes while other groups were being sat.

Great experience had at this Nando's. Been to lots of Nando's and this was probably one of the better experiences. No wait to get a table, super friendly staff and very accommodating - they even went and got us a refill for our drinks. Food was well cooked and came quickly. Also, excellent location - on the first floor of the mall that overlooks St. Pauls Cathedral.

Such a shame, as someone who has been to many Nandos I was horrified by the service received at one change! Waited 30mins for food that arrived cold and then told, for them to make it again we have to wait a further 30mins or they can give a refund!!!! I couldn't believe it. After asking to speak to the manger and told they were coming over, waited a further 15 mins to be told the manager is too busy! Is this customer service! Totally let down as was out for a special family meal and it ruined the evening. My mum took her medication ready to eat to then be told a further wait or refund! In the end we managed to get our food 80mins after ordering!!!! Never will I return to this branch. Its not even about the cold food as these things happen but its how your dealt with after, the service and resolution to the problem! The manager and team here scored 0!!!!!!!!! So let down! Embarrassed this is Nandos as a loyal customer the team at this branch are letting the chain down!

I love Nando’s. But this branch might loose their spirit. Dishes did not show up for a long and was much less amount than other branches. Firmly recommend you to find alternavtives

The store is located in the shopping center. The restaurant is quite spacious and very well decorated. The menu is extensive and with very good prices for London. You have family chicken menus, good burgers and the salads are very tasty. You have all kinds of sauces at your disposal to accompany your dishes. You have a free water source. The staff is very attentive.

Thank you so much to George and his female coworker who served me and my parents yesterday for my mums birthday, our waitress was very nice and attentive and George provided our family with a really tasty complementary desert alongside great service 🥳

Correct to eat something quick and affordable price. We stopped after a tour to eat something quick and continue visiting places. The order is placed directly from the mobile phone and paid in the same way. We ordered Grilled Chicken Wrap and Fully Loaded Chips as a starter. Both dishes are good and sufficient quantity. You have the sauces you want at your disposal.

Nando's consistently delivers delightful chicken dishes that seldom disappoint. While the Mac and Cheese may not live up to the hype, the standout is the service, particularly from George, who provided swift and friendly service.

Great service every time! Food is fairly quick. Warning: if you are planning to go for lunch on a weekday it will be incredibly busy. My recommendation is to arrive before 12:15, no later otherwise you'll have to wait in a long queue. Alternatively just get a takeaway.

I order a 10 peri peri chicken wings with 2 regular sides (chips & creamy mash) and bottomless coca-cola, the spices I chose Hot totally is 20.65£. Because this is my first try Nando's and do not sure if I can eat extra-hot, but after eating I found 'hot' is not spicy at all, maybe I should try the 'extra-hot' next time. The staff here are friendly, when I spilled my cola on the table and all over the floor, they came to help me immediately and let me change my seat. However, from the food perspective, I think Nando's tastes... just so-so, and the price is also a little expensive. After all, this is a chain restaurant, in some local quick-service restaurant you can get the same size and better taste peri peri chicken in a cheaper price.

Great service and food, one of our meals took a little longer to come out but our waiter kept us updated and assured it was on its way and was overall absolutely lovely and full of charisma! Didn't catch his name but he was so chill and friendly, we had a great time :)

We weren’t served so I can’t comment on the food; however, if the plates and plates of food left on the pass were an indication, I think it’s safe to say it wouldn’t have been great. There was NO ONE on front of house. Not even a server, literally not a soul. We stood waiting at the door for a good 10 minutes waiting to be shown a table; we got nothing and left along with the people behind us in the queue. The restaurant was dead quiet, people were waiting sitting at tables with no food, it was embarrassing. Easily the worst Nando’s experience I’ve had and I’ve been to a lot. This was on 25/11/23 at around 17:00.

Myself and my partner arrived at this Nandos Friday 24th Nov 23. We ordered via the app as advised by the waitress. 30 (!) minutes later no food had arrived (the restaurant had no more than 8 customers in it total). The team were focusing solely on delivery app orders. We watched our meat sit in the window for 15+ minutes with no sides. No communication from the staff to us whatsoever. The food finally comes… it was ABYSMAL. Stone cold, old, the bottom of the sides (hard cold rice, shocking small portions of chips). FYI we only ordered 1/4 chicken, rice chips and a wrap. We send the food back as it’s shocking. Same process happens again, the chicken and wrap is fired by the grill team immediately even though the girl (who 100% needs to be removed from the station and retrained) is not ready with the sides. Our food sits again for 15 minutes until we finally receive it. The waitress give us ZERO apology and attitude ??!! Manager too busy flirting with the waitress to care about anything going on. We were not even offered a complimentary dessert, refund etc. Wouldn’t recommend and the owner needs to look into this franchise. P.S see photo, we finished the 2nd round of food and nobody had even come to ask if all was well with the LATE refired food. Wouldn’t have bothered to write all of this if the experience wasn’t so shockingly bad.

Manuela is lovely. Very friendly professional and curteous. The station with the condiments is clean, well stocked and sharp. She needs to be recognised. A credit to nandos.

A very busy chain. My advice is to come before midday else you will be waiting with a mountain of people outlook. Overall service and food quality like any other Nandos.

Arrived mid week lunch time, very busy hosting large groups of what looked like 3rd party building contractors. We were shown to middle aisle table for two. No where to put our coats and bags carrying as work week. Having order saw a small table for two booth available I asked if possible to move and the staff member was very courteous and hospitable despite being very busy himself rapidly prepared the table for us and we moved. The food came shortly after he had obviously also made a note on our food ticket table change. Thank you Juri made our lunch meal from what started seemed mediocre to ending up being a vastly improved enjoyable meal from us both.

The staff were so friendly and served us with good positivity and good service. The store was so neat and tidy. The atmosphere was very calm.

Previous review - Standard Nandos, great location but tucked into a corner on the first floor. Many people without online maps may not figure out the location of this restaurant. Oh my gosh there were an amazing lady looking after us she makes sure we got everything we wanted she was soo welcome 🤗. If I am right her name is Rahma she definitely deserves the best waiter award 🥇. Because her I really recommend going to this place.

The waiters we're extreamly Rude and one of them even Stile my recieve and threw it away because someone in our group forgot to Order sth. I highly recommend Not so visit this place If youre expecting nice waiters.

The service needs improvement. Despite the high price comparable to a regular restaurant, customers are required to fetch their own plates and utensils, and there is no waiter to take orders. The atmosphere is even worse than a McDonald's. It would be a more enjoyable experience to buy food from a supermarket.

My gf and I are Nandos connoisseurs, and this one is among the best in UK that we’ve tried.

The staff was extremely rude for no reason whatsoever! It was as if they were being forced to work there!

Sometimes in the busyness of London you just need a familiar dependable friendly place, and Nando's is it. It's up the escalator and away from the busy area around St Paul's and it's approachable and very friendly. Good clean toilets - kind helpful staff - what more do you need? An oasis in a sea of turmoil.

Really nice restaurant. Service was very quick and the food was nice but found that the wrap didn't have as much chicken as I normally get at other restaurants and didn't have as much sauce. There was a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly.
