Preto in City of London, Westminster

We visited preto in Victoria last Thursday and we couldn’t stop eating, from the atmosphere to the staff, to the food, we couldn’t have had a better experience! The food was seriously delicious and the coconut cake for dessert was a dream! I would seriously recommend you pay them a visit for an incredible meal and fantastic experience, the vibe is unmatched, cannot wait to return!

I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Preto. The quality of the food was subpar, and the service left much to be desired. Despite having the green cards on our table indicating our desire for more meat, the waiters serving the meat seemed inattentive, making us constantly remind them every 10 minutes. This disrupted the flow of our meal and made the dining experience far from enjoyable. The concept of a constant flow of meat should enhance the dining experience, but in this restaurant, it felt like we were constantly chasing after both the meat and the waiters. Not only was this frustrating, but it also left my Brazilian friends and me feeling embarrassed due to the poor service. I cannot recommend this restaurant to others as it ultimately felt like a waste of money.

Try to come for their lunch time deal @ £16.95 for the Rodizio. The place is empty and the fresh meat just keeps coming. Love this place 😍

They have 5-6 different meats to serve unfortunately was not able to try the chorizo/sausage looking meat as I was already very full. There were unli chips, salads, banana roll, cheese bread, rice to choose from, many sauces to choose from as well. Service is not that bad. Meat kept on coming. One of the staff tipped over my drink but didnt offer a replacement. It should have been automatic to offer a replacement. I know i should have asked myself but i thought it was weird that 2 staff were there at our table (1 who tipped the drink, another cleaning the table) and none of them actually offered replacement 😅 .

I visited Preto restaurant in Victoria yesterday with some friends and had a somewhat mixed experience. The food, particularly the meat, was quite good and enjoyable. However, I must express my disappointment with the service. The waitress who served us was somewhat rude and unaccommodating. Whenever we asked her anything, she would make strange faces that didn't make us feel comfortable or at ease.

I came with 10 friends and it was absolutely incredible! The staff is lovely, the plates are fantastic and tasty with lots of diversity. It actually was one of the best experiences i’ve had that truly depicts the real Brazilian cuisine in London

Super delicious food. I ate the rodízio and the meat was very good and juicy. I loved. I came here twice in 2 days 😅. The service team is also very helpful and the atmosphere is excellent. One day I will return to London!!

Ótimo lugar. Boa carne.. super suculenta, bem temperada. Pessoal prestável e no rodízio não faltou carne. Tive o prato sempre cheio. Lugar a voltar um dia que volte a londres. Recomendo!

Lovely food and great staff second round of cocktails were not as good as the first but when I spoke to staff it was rectified free of charge straight away highly recommend

Utterly fantastic. Not suitable for vegetarians!! Excellent for keto followers but anyone in-between. Excellent meat, unbelievable flavours and honestly as much as you could even cope with. Delicious salad bar, really well priced and only a short walk from victoria station. Cannot more highly recommend!! They also have outside seating which will be amazing in the summer. You'll be back after you've been, I know I will!

The TooGoodToGo takeout is amazing for lunch price. I got 2 boxes of these size which can feed 2-3 people I assume. I got the takeout bag which is super heavy, when I opened it which is very surprising good!

Waiters lovely and the managers are really attentive the meat was hot and I saw them checking temperatures. Very professional. I felt safe eating here. I will be re-attending.

There are plenty of side dishes on offer, which you can help yourself to as many times as you like. The chef brought out the meats to our table and carved them there. Our plates were never empty of meat, until we turned out coasters over. The meats were tender and tasty. There was plenty of staff on duty, no one has to wait any length of time for drinks when ordered.

My favorite location from all Preto restaurants, the service is always great and the waiters are super friendly. Quality of meat and salad bars are great too.

Great staff, and good cocktails but the food is just unbeatable! I wish I'd saved myself for more garlic beef and lamb! The lamb was just so tender and tasty

I went here with my family for my nieces birthday. The food was really nice and they had a good selection on the buffet. The staff were also friendly and the meat came around often however I am celiac so cannot eat gluten. Only one server seemed to know what gluten was and told me to not have the meat he was serving, after that was different servers and when they were asked about gluten most of them didn’t understand what I was saying. This is a big problem when it comes to allergies I would avoid eating here if you do have an allergy as they don’t seem to know the ingredients. If you don’t have an allergy I would recommend.

Was there on Sunday , the food , the music , the vibes , the waitress specially the one with the ponytail were super kind even when she was rushing was able to gave us the best service ! I highly recommend it!

Food and atmosphere were very good. We were four, and we walked in without a reservation. Ana, Lany, and Charlotte were so kind to accommodate us. They even figured out it was my birthday and gave me free cake. I cant thank you enough!

For me, it’s a bit salty, but generally very tasty. Especially chicken and lamb were nice. 👍 There will be 12.5% service charges, you need to consider, but their service was worth it.

I happened to stumble upon this place for lunch after taking my mother and my 4 -year-old to the Fulham Palace for the morning. I was excited to try the meat and both my mother and I selected the lunch special i.e. mini-Rodizio at GBP 16.95 per person while my child ate for free. We enjoyed what we were served: sausage, sirloin steak, top-side of beef and two types of chicken. We were happy with the service. The sides and buffet were unlimited and good quality. All-in-all, we enjoyed the meat and we were impressed by the quality and cookery of the meat. We ordered a dessert to share - a slice of chocolate cake with icecream - which was dense, tasty and charged separately. Value for money, especially if you enjoy meat.

This place is the best Brazilian steak house I've ever been too, every single bit of meat was so tasty and full of flavour and the guys coming over with he meats were so lovely and was so friendly, the staff there were so lovely and couldn't do enough for you! It was mine and my partners first time coming here and will be coming back again for sure! Highly recommend this place 👍

My second time at Preto, but my first time at the Victoria branch yesterday for lunch, and the service was very welcoming, attentive and friendly from all the staff. I ordered the unlimited Mini Rodizio which comes with a mixture of salads, rice and beans etc from the salad bar and everything was really fresh, hot and delicious. The meats were cooked to perfection and served and carved at my table by Heriberto with such a great smile and pleasant demeanour that complimented the whole dining experience perfectly.

I recently visited this place and had a great experience overall. The food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. I had the opportunity to book using a voucher, which provided me with a bit of a discount. When it came time to pay, I encountered a small issue that affected my overall impression. I politely approached a lady with curly hair behind the bar and asked if it would be possible to remove the service charge, as it is not mandatory. To my surprise, she responded with a rather unpleasant attitude, questioning why I didn't want to tip. Her tone and demeanor made me quite furious, and upset as I felt I was being judged for my decision. I explained that I prefer to tip separately, but she insisted that due to the voucher, it was not possible to remove the service charge. For this reason I accepted it but still her behaviour was not nice at all. I hope that management takes note of this incident and addresses it appropriately to ensure that all customers feel respected and valued, regardless of their tipping preferences.

I've been there a few times at lunch, and the buffet is very nice. Also the guys coming with meat at the table are very kind

A very lively Brazilian diner in a busy street. It has seating Inside and outside and also downstairs with private dining. Traditional Brazilian grill. Green card for more food, red card to say you are done. Has vegetarian menu and cocktails and wine. Very nice service. Good atmosphere and food. Decent prices for London. The 24 bus stops right outside.

Really tasty food, the meat quality is absolutely extraordinary. The restaurant was a bit overcrowded, and I think that interferes in completely enjoying the experience.

Service was poor, after the main bulk of people left (19:30) we then sat there for 40 mins with the cards at green and no meat was brought out. They had lost all interest.

I bloody love Preto. Ok. It's not fine dining. But sometimes in life I need to fill up on abundant food with lots of meat. That's when it's Preto o'clock

Can't say more about their food as it's really delicious and good service. However, we were seated downstairs , and it's really stuffy due to the lack of windows/ ventilation .

Very nice place. Friendly service. We got the Rodizio grill menu which include salad buffet and waiters come around to the tables and serve various meat from skewers. Most meat was really good, but some was a bit dry. All in all a very nice experience, so I'd do it again another time.

I very rarely right reviews but I want to take the opportunity to say the food was outstanding the meat very tasty service was excellent everybody went above and beyond. A fantastic cool vibe and atmosphere. Please if you are local please give it a try! I had the unlimited meat for 1 hour and half unlimited salad bar dough cheese balls fries plus 4 cocktails pinacolda x2 plus the Brazil 1984 x2 for £105 5star!!!!!!

I was this Saturday, we went with friends, the meat service was very good but there is a woman who served us, this lady had a not very good attitude, we asked her for a drink and the answer she had for us was that she is very busy. More people, this woman's service was terrible. Two or three times she answered in that way. I do not recommend the place. Taking too long to get drinks or the meat.

Poor experience. Booked as a birthday. Going here ruined the birthday. Negative points - - Salad buffet bar unhygienic and food clearly old, food that was meant to be warm wasn’t. - Venue cramped, impossible to get in and out of table without knocking into other tables. - Special mention to the awful staff, absolutely zero drink service throughout the meal. Actually no service at all in general. - Manager stood around bizarrely in between the bar and eating area on his phone. - The tables have a 1 hour 45 limit to eat. However as there was no service some of the group had to order their SECOND drink with dessert. At 1 hour 45 minutes while two drinks were unfinished the staff member came over and told us we needed to now vacate the table. So two drinks were completely wasted. - Meat was chewy and inedible. Awful experience. Positives - I now know not to go back.

This place was amazing up until 2016. Since then it’s dropped off completely! Being going solidly since about 2012 but no more. My entire family has been telling me that they stopped going due to quality of food( cheap cuts of meat and bad service) but I refused to just drop them. Until yesterday. As soon as we stepped in last night, we were looked at up and down as if we weren’t welcome.,I specified that we booked a table for four. We were referred rather coldly to the female manager who was equally as rude, cold in mannerism and spoke to us in a terrible tone of voice. Everyone else was somewhat friendly but I got the impression staff was just there because they had to be. A far cry from the days of yesteryear when we were made to feel welcome with smiles and light conversation. I won’t be going back again. Plenty of Brazilian steakhouses in London, thanks.

Nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. Food was slightly disappointing for me as i don't eat read meat but if you have no restrictions then there is quite a variety. The waitress that served us didn't speak very good English and came across quite blunt. We had someone on our table who was able to translate so not too much of a bother but if you don't i can see it being frustrating.

Food is of very good quality and the salad bar is also good. Must try the lamb and the cheese bread rolls.

De todas as experiências com restaurantes brasileiros essa de fato foi a pior delas, o atendimento é ruim, a comida é cara para o que é oferecido, o lugar é extremamente apertado, ficamos em uma mesa de fundo, a carne chegava sempre no fim, ressecada e sem condições de apreciar , a picanha foi uma piada, decepcionante. Não recomendo e jamais indicaria. Sem falar da goteira na mesa. Of all the experiences with Brazilian restaurants, this was actually the worst one, the service is bad, the food is expensive for what is offered, the place is extremely cramped, we were at a table in the back, the meat always arrived at the end, dry and unable to appreciate, the picanha was a joke, disappointing. I don't recommend it and would never recommend it.

Unfortunately after visiting many times though the years Preto has gone very bad. Food is still decent but the service is below average and the manager is very rude! Will not be visiting again

Visited with a group of friends after work. We were given a warm welcome and the staff were very friendly. The Food on offer was good and the various meat, chicken, sausages etc that were brought to our table were very tasty. The ambience in the Restaurant was great and the prices reasonable. We were served promptly and were not rushed at all. I will revisit as we all enjoyed the meal!

It was full with people and 2 waiters weren't enough to serve. Have been there several times but the last one left me disappointed. The grilled meat below average and the crust of cheesecake was so strong almost impossible to cut it into edible bits.

I was craving Brazilian food, luckily I found this place!

I would not recommend this restaurant unless you are in real need. Starting with the place, only the tables of the ground floor are used. Consequently, there is almost no space between the table. This is important because when the cooks come to serve meat, it is very easy to leave a stain because of the meat's liquids. The food itself is very salty. It was unbearable. Nevertheless, there were some kinds of meat which made a good impression on me and my friends. In terms of service, I felt that it lacked the professionalism needed for the market in which it competes. First of all, there was an accident in which a waiter dropped a bottle of oil. My jacket was splashed and I needed to remove the stain immediately before it becomes permanent. The management did not do anything in a symbolic gesture to compensate us. In addition, there was a constant pressure to finish quickly to release the table for other customers. All in all, please do not visit this restaurant with formal clothes and be prepared to eat extremely salty food.

A shockingly poor salad bar, uncomfortable seating arrangement and poor service. If you enjoy being cramped onto a table with no space to move your chair back, or being splattered with meat juices by careless staff who don't understand what they've done wrong or apologise, then I urge you to visit this restaurant. Considering all of this, I would say it is severely overpriced. Not worth a visit, even if it was half the price.

La verdad antes era muy bueno pero la última vez que fui la carne está muy seca y no tenia sabor y con respecto a precio y calidad muy malo la verdad no salí nada satisfecha.
