We found this restaurant on trip advisor and we’re not disappointed. Great setting and the warm welcome from the doorman to the receptionist to the waiters/waitresses was superb. The menu was good and lots of choice. Be aware- If you go for brunch no desserts offered but to be fair we were full!! The food is beautifully presented and the plates are served with the restaurant logo facing the correct way on the plates and they remember who ordered what so no asking whose food is whose!! Gluten free bread roll was tasty . All the dishes were delicious and would definitely go back. Loved the main course chicken dishes. The whipped humous was a favourite too! Not cheap but you are in a great part of London and it is so worth it. Loved the cocktails too! Thank you!

Have been on previous occasions . I like the restaurant . It was first visit for my 2 guests . It was their birthday treat They enjoyed the food and the venue. Had a very relaxed lunch , were made welcome and not rushed.

Portions are getting smaller and smaller - monkfish portion was a joke Not sure about the Mexican band - super loud. Not quite the 34 Mayfair vibe. Am a regular not sure will come back if I can’t have a conversation w my dinner guests

Celebrating my husband birthday. I was very pleased to get the table requested making our lunch enjoyable. We had the Sunday lunch which was excellent and cooked to our perfection .The wine list is extensive and very good . At the end of the meal my husband was surprised with a delicious birthday plate and the waiter singing happy birthday. We look forward to returning and highly recommend .

Everything I tried was truly amazing. Specifically the lamb and also the mac and cheese. It was also my boyfriend's birthday and they were very accommodating by giving us a nice table (even though we were 20mins late because of traffic) and candles on his dessert. The staff is also very attentive. Will go again

I went for the fish of the day which was an expensive halibut. It was tough and dry, so evidently overcooked. Extremely disappointing. The beautiful ambiance cannot make up for poor quality food. My guest was also disappointed by her Caesar salad.

Jeg visste at de hadde en annen meny, men for de som ikke vet det må de betale mer. Maten var god, service som forventet for 13,5 % service charge. Pene lokaler, litt slitent toalett. Litt kostbart.

He ido a la feria 34 Mayfair un par de veces, Yo era su este sábado 28, creo que algo parecía no muy bien sobre 34 mayfair más, simplemente se sentía como un lugar comercial turístico no la misma vibra, el personal en la entrada, debe pensar que la gente grande ahora, el factor sorpresa se ha ido, ni siquiera adiós feliz año nuevo, ¿qué pasó? Los pedidos son apresurados y el camarero sigue comprobando si terminamos o no queríamos seguir adelante, o tienen problemas con los cutómeros de raza Brown o estoy leyendo mal algo. La sopa era horrible no es lo mismo que antes, la calidad de la comida parece haberse ido por el desagüe, el dinero que le gasté, gasté en Dorchester el servicio de calidad más allá de esto. Creo que el factor sorpresa de la decoración etc no es su, tan pronto como pones el pie en, la actitud de las damas en la recepción, o son muy juiciosas o algo así, pero siempre con cuidado con quién juzgas, Mi esposa se sorprendió de los 34 mayfair que ha estado pocas veces casi todos los años, esto nos ha dejado mal gusto durante mucho tiempo.

Wir waren grade unterwegs aber meine laute war schon verdorben wieso gibt mann diese infos bei reservierung!!! Diese person die mich anrief war sehr unfreundlich fand ich sehr sehr unangenehm!!!!

Steak frites were delicious, as was the broccoli. Service was a bit slow, and had to repeat ask for different items multiple times. Entrance staff were very unfriendly and continued having a personal conversation as we stood there waiting to be let them know we had arrived for our reservation. Ambience was nice and decorations were pretty.

Food was delicious and service was nice. However, given the pricing of the food, the table cover charge was an unwelcome surprise. This was an additional fee to the 13.5% service charge. When I asked, they said the table cover charge was to cover the use of glasses (we only had water), dishware, and tablecloth. Have never seen this charge at a restaurant before and didn’t appreciate the extra fee. Would likely think twice about coming back due to the lack of transparency about the fee upfront.

Absolutely amazing restaurant and food from start to finish. Without doubt the most attentive staff I've ever experienced. And the Donuts for dessert are an absolute must , can't fault a single thing.

El personal no conocía los menús. Pensé que había nueces en mi comida que cuestioné. El camarero tampoco lo sabía. Cuando pregunté esto me dijeron que debería habérselo dicho a la camarera. Luego dijo que me dejara ir y le preguntara, luego regresó y dijo que ella preguntó y yo no respondí. Todos dijimos que nadie preguntó y no se dieron disculpas. es un lugar popular para comer, pero el personal necesita mejorar.

Charged 7.50 per bottle when asked if we wanted still water. Small portions for the price. Decorations are not as grand as they used to be for Christmas

Had brunch on Saturday - we found the Brunch menu a bit limiting and wished we could have dishes from the main a La carte instead. Food was still very good, but we just found overall service not up to the same level as when we dined on a weekday a la carte lunch or dinner. Dishes were put on the table anywhere and not put in the right place for each person. Food was served when 2 of the party was in the rest room and so the food was going cold on the table. All in all, we were a bit disappointed compared to our previous times at 34 Mayfair.

Such a shame. Used to be a favourite of ours but the food quality & menu has gone to absolute basic & frankly I would not call it cooking at all. I am sorry as imagine the restaurant are struggling to get great chefs so have gone the no kitchen /ivy approach.

Lovely Christmas decorated restaurant with a great atmosphere, great food and service.

Poor food and slow slow service. Plus things taken away when still not finished.

Our table was not ready on time and we were told to wait by the bar for a couple of minutes. I went to ask after waiting over 15 minutes and waited another 5-10 minutes to be seated, to which the waiter promptly returned to our table twice in a space of 5 minutes and we had to ask him to give us time and not be rushed. Considering this was a special meal for my clients it was awkward to have this level of service in front of them.

Tastefully decorated for Christmas, and very attentive staff from the moment we walked in the door. Food was delicious, and the attention to detail was impeccable. Would 100% come back here.

What a find! Visiting London as a person who used to live here. When we come back we try and find one or two restaurants we have not been to. 34 did not disappoint. The ambience was lovely, the staff was super attentive and the food was delicious. The whole experience was a 10.

One of the best roasts I’ve ever had! Very festive, quite loud though

I have ben around and this probably has ben my worst experience in dinning, The service was the most disappointing of all. We arrived (2 persons) at 4:40 pm (reservation 4:30), we ordered mac and cheese for my companion, and a mushroom soup and a filet form my self , no drinks, just tap water, first course mac&cheese for my companion and the soup for me, finish around 15 min (the first dishes), had to ask for tap water to two persons and no service, I waited 30 min for my filet and, I had the view to the kitchen, and I can see that the hot bar had not put no filet mignon on the grill (my filet) all I can see was other meat cuts. It was evident that my filet was not in the tickets for the kitchen, I had no choice to call some one in a suite an told him to cancel the dish and dinner and bring the bill. I saw that he when and talk to the another person who wen to the kitchen and ask around, then approach my table and presented him self as the Assistant Restaurant Manager Mehdi Moujtahid, and admitted that a mistake was made and my filet was not on the ticket in the kitchen, he offered to do it but I was upset and, to me, eating upset or angry is the worst thing to do, I did not wanted to wait no more there so I insisted on the check, the assistant manager insisted that he was going to take care of the bill and apologies again for the situation, we left. The food: nothing extraordinary.

The food was tasty and just the right size portions, we had the monkfish tail and the Korean spatchcock chicken and various sides. Staff were not at the table every 5 minutes and we didn’t feel rushed at all, from door staff to Barman to waiting staff, they were all lovley. Highly recommend and we will be returning

The best burger I’ve tried in London. Very tasty food and very good service. We had two kids sleeping in two strollers and booked last minute. They were very accommodating, and very helpful unlike a lot of other restaurants when they see kids. The food was great, very tasty even though quite pricey. Definitely will come back and thanks for a wonderful lunch.

I cannot believe a place like this exists! Every. Single. Dish. Was better than the one before. It never stopped! The dessert, that sticky toffee pudding, is phenomenal. Maybe the best dessert I’ve ever had. Anywhere. Bravo to the entire team- cannot wait to return.

The food was amazing! …and tarnished by poor service. What’s worse is when I made a comment about the poor service on the way out, I was told our attendant was a manager.

Everything was on point on this occasion, plates were set with 34 pointing north, Mark looked after our table superbly & the food was spot on.

The service was poor we had to repeatedly chase drinks up mains were fetched without sides we had to sit and wait for the sides to arrive. We requested a glass of wine and half a carafe was fetched we told them to which it was removed no apologies nothing then staff loudly talking about us infill view rude at its finest, my husbands steak was poor he didn’t enjoy it at all overall a really poor expensive night.

Disappointing First Impression at 34 Mayfair I had high expectations for 34 Mayfair, but unfortunately, our experience started on the wrong foot due to the hostess, Veronica. We had a 9:00 PM reservation for four, booked through OpenTable. My mother, an elderly woman with an injured eye who understands English but finds it slightly difficult to speak, arrived just a few minutes early. When my mother mentioned that the reservation was under my name, “Alhanof,” Veronica gave the iPad a quick glance and replied dismissively, “I can’t find your reservation.” Her tone and demeanor were unhelpful and rude—she made no effort to assist or try to understand my mother. Feeling frustrated, my mother called me and handed Veronica the phone. I reiterated the reservation details, but Veronica continued to show no interest in resolving the situation. She handed the phone back to my mother, maintaining an unwelcoming expression, and again stated she couldn’t find the reservation. I arrived shortly after and showed the confirmation email, at which point she reluctantly asked a colleague to escort us to our table. What struck me most was watching Veronica throughout the evening—she warmly greeted every other guest, escorted them to their tables with a smile, and handed them menus. It left me wondering if my mother’s appearance, as a hijabi, influenced her behavior. On a brighter note, our server, Raquel, was fantastic, and the food was excellent—no complaints there. However, the initial encounter with Veronica cast a shadow over the evening and ruined the ambiance. First impressions matter, and this experience was disappointing. I hope the restaurant addresses such behavior to ensure all guests are treated with respect and hospitality.

Truly brilliant service and food. The Argentinian steak was perfect, and such a relief to get it cooked the way we asked. Impressed with the service and knowledge of the waiters/waitresses. 100% recommend.

Siempre es una especie de lotería visitar un restaurante por primera vez con solo las reseñas en línea para pasar. Inevitablemente hay cierto tipo de crítico que le gusta exagerar las meras molestias - e igualmente aquellos que no pueden parecer elogiar el lugar lo suficientemente alto. Por supuesto, tales puntos de vista son siempre subjetivos. En última instancia, tienes que experimentarlo por ti mismo. Me complace informar que mi visita aquí me pareció nada menos que excelente. El restaurante en sí es de buen gusto, el ambiente agradable y el personal genial y eficiente. Visité con un colega temprano un sábado por la noche, en un momento en que el restaurante no estaba tan lleno, aunque ciertamente se había animado para cuando nos fuimos. Es evidente de inmediato que este es un lugar donde se mantienen las normas. Fuimos cálidamente recibidos y rápidamente sentados y el servicio en todo fue formal, pero no dominante. Decidí empezar con un cóctel, optando por uno que no estaba en el menú, pero que debería ser bastante estándar para cualquier asistente de la coctelería - un simple mojito. Encuentro que esto siempre es una buena prueba de competencia. Sin duda fue muy bueno, aunque no el mejor que he tenido. Nuestros entrantes eran más prometedores - la burrata Pugliese y la calabaza y ricotta ravioli respectivamente. El ravioli fue una revelación - absolutamente delicioso y muy moreish. Nuestras principales fueron el pincho de cordero cornualles glaseado y el pollo rotisserie Suffolk - ambos de primera categoría (ver fotos). Con un poco de espinacas y mucho pan, todo estaba muy bien presentado y cocinado a la perfección y creo que posiblemente se encuentre entre los mejores alimentos que he comido. El postre simplemente tenía que ser el famoso tiramisú eclair, que había visto fotos de mi investigación en este mismo lugar. Ahora, soy un conocedor del tiramisú, como mis numerosas contribuciones en esta plataforma sin duda testificarán -por lo que la elección fue realmente un no-. Los rellenos entubados, la construcción de dos pisos y la delgada capa rectangular de chocolate con un toque de pan de oro en la parte superior, se ven espectaculares en cuanto a presentación (ver fotos). Si bien era absolutamente delicioso, carece de ese auténtico sabor tiramisú. Pero eso es sólo un pequeño truco. La factura final llegó a poco menos de 175 libras para dos, con bebidas, y observo el habitual cargo por servicio 'discrecional', en este caso la friolera de 13 . 5%, que es lo más alto que he encontrado. Pero, por supuesto, el costo no es realmente una consideración si elige comer aquí. Como ex gerente de hospitalidad, aprecio el buen servicio y lo encontré completamente eficiente y profesional en todo momento. La mesa fue despejada con prontitud, y todas las solicitudes fueron debidamente atendidas, lo que hizo que pareciera como si nos estuvieran cuidando constantemente. Nuestro servidor (Wilmer? ) fue muy atento e informativo durante todo el tiempo e hizo toda la velada sin fisuras, de modo que no se trataba solo de la comida sino de la experiencia general. Mi colega y yo ya estamos discutiendo nuestro regreso. Pulgares rotundos, arriba. Muy recomendable.

34 Mayfair was a decent restaurant. They did have a interesting mambo band playing, so live music. Made it very nice for a Friday night in London. I’m over all. The food was quite good and the drinks were quite good. The overall ambience is a bit plain and the table for two people was quite small. We did ask for a larger table and they could not accommodate but yet at the end, they realized that we could’ve just raised an edge on the table to give us another 8 inches and unsure of why that did not happen during our meal. Especially considering we requested extra room. overall, it’s a good restaurant. I can’t remember the meal that we ordered, but the appetizers and steak tartare were. However, bummed that the menu that’s online has venison and other game and this menu did not have any of that

The staff were amazing, the ambience excellent, the drinks were well made but the food were too small for the price they charged! The food was delicious although the waffle and chicken felt dry and it was just one waffle, common, they could at least do two! The pancakes were the fluffiest I have ever had, the salmon and eggs, my gawwwdd, I want it now!!

Awful today and so disappointed. Been a couple of times and thought to take my family for an 80th birthday. Service was slow and the food really not very nice. Steaks tasted awful and the Sunday Roast? The potatoes and Yorkshire pudding totally inedible and the meat either over done or tough. Also waiter managed to spill food all down one of the parties jacket . They did apologise and took things off the bill and are paying for dry cleaning but we were so upset and disappointed as it was supposed to be a special occasion and it was ruined. Left upset and kids had to get them something to eat on the way home. Shame, used to be lovely!

La camarera nunca apareció en la mesa después de tomar el pedido, e incluso le contamos al chico del autobús sobre el problema la única vez que la camarera regresó fue después de que todo terminó y la única vez que realmente vi a la camarera de nuevo fue cuando cargó a mi tarjeta de crédito de todos modos un servicio horrible comida horrible, no sé por qué la gente recomendaría este restaurante, pero yo digo que no solo ir a McDonald’s y tomar una hamburguesa ...

The steak we had was satisfactory, although the salt was applied excessively. The service was quite attentive, and overall, the experience was above average but not exceptional.

Celebrating mine and 4 other friends birthday we had the most fantastic time. We were given an excellent round table which was perfect for us all to talk. Our service, food and drink was outstanding. Four out of six of us ate from the lunch set menu which is excellent value . We highly rate this restaurant and my friends, their families and I will definitely be back . Highly recommend
