Great service and steaks. We had the grilled Orkney scallops for appetizers. Never had scallops grilled before and the miso butter further elevated the taste. We shared an Irish chateaubriand, UK ribeye, and T-bone steak. Everything was grilled to the best temperature and seasoning. The mushroom sides and truffle fries were so delightful. Every server knew how to address our needs instinctively.

Bentley’s is an absolute gem in the heart of London. The seafood here is consistently exceptional — fresh, beautifully prepared, and presented with care. The oysters are, of course, the star of the show. An incredible selection from around the British and Irish coasts, all impeccably shucked and served. The dressed oysters are a particular favourite — light, zesty, and full of flavour. Beyond the oysters, the menu is a masterclass in seafood cookery. The Dover sole was grilled to perfection, and the fish pie was rich, comforting, and indulgent without being heavy. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted and rooted in quality ingredients. Service is professional yet friendly — attentive without being overbearing. The staff are clearly passionate about what they do, offering helpful recommendations and sharing insights about the menu and oyster varieties. Bentley’s manages to feel both timeless and welcoming, a rare balance in London’s dining scene. Recently had dinner at the Grill. Absolutely blown away by the experience. Our waiter, Matthew was excellent, looked after us attentively and provided useful information on the dishes we were about to eat. With this type of up end restaurant, you don't always get value for money. In this case we both felt we had a real treat and the food and wine was worth every penny. For me, the oysters were 10/10 and my wife felt the same about her steak. Cooked to absolute perfection. The chips are naughty, but amazing and the peppercorn sauce has a real depth and left you wanting more & more. The wine we were recommended, was exactly what we asked for, buttery Chardonnay and beautiful. Expensive, but worth it. Thanks for the experience, we will come again.

So disappointed! We used to love coming here but the new menu has very limited options!! I can’t believe how much they have removed. We almost just left… Now they have separated ‘mains’ and ‘sides’ so they can cheekily make a meal cost twice as much :( the portion sizes have decreased too - 4 small burnt ends is not a portion! A small piece of chocolate brownie with one scoop of ice cream… is not a chocolate sundae! The decoration has changed to a basic diner - no family feel anymore. Been coming here for 8 years… will now need to find a new place to eat.

Sunday roast is amazing and great value for money

Dålig samordning av mat och dryck beställningar. Beställde fördrink som kom in samtidigt som förrätten, vi hade beställ vin till maten men kom inte in alls utan vi fick påminna om den när vi fick varmrätten, verkligen inte okej. Hade högre förväntningar på smaker då det är en Gordon Ramsay restaurang. Maten smakade okej men inte mer.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and we’re not disappointed. Great setting and the warm welcome from the doorman to the receptionist to the waiters/waitresses was superb. The menu was good and lots of choice. Be aware- If you go for brunch no desserts offered but to be fair we were full!! The food is beautifully presented and the plates are served with the restaurant logo facing the correct way on the plates and they remember who ordered what so no asking whose food is whose!! Gluten free bread roll was tasty . All the dishes were delicious and would definitely go back. Loved the main course chicken dishes. The whipped humous was a favourite too! Not cheap but you are in a great part of London and it is so worth it. Loved the cocktails too! Thank you!
