All the staff were great at helping my mum who is a wheelchair user and took time explain menu and sauces ect. Knockout shop - perfect place to get what’s needed to cook up a storm. Invaluable to have the expertise on hand of the team for advice too!

Truly delicious takeaway, cannot recommend the chicken tikka masala enough! The mushroom rice was astonishing! And the chicken tikka rice was also amazing. The title says healthy and delicious, we can promise you it most definitely was! We will be using them lots and lots in the future.

Ala Turka is a place that transports you straight to the streets of Istanbul. From the very first moment, I felt like a long-awaited guest, warmly welcomed by the staff whose friendliness and attentiveness are truly exceptional. Their smiles and dedication make you feel special, as if every detail has been tailored just for you. Everything here revolves around authentic taste and quality. The grill? Absolute perfection! The meat is juicy, perfectly seasoned, and infused with the unmistakable aroma of freshly lit charcoal. Every bite is a burst of flavour that's simply irresistible. The starters? Fresh, crisp, and made with the finest ingredients – it's clear that no shortcuts are taken here, with every detail meticulously crafted. The ambiance of the restaurant is another standout feature – a warm, oriental interior with soft lighting and subtle background music creates an atmosphere where you can truly escape the everyday. This isn't just a place to eat; it's an experience you'll want to repeat. I highly recommend Ala Turka to anyone looking for authentic Turkish cuisine and an unforgettable evening. It’s more than just a restaurant – it’s a journey of flavours and hospitality you won’t forget!

Otters do the best bacon sandwich in Rutland. No - the best bacon sandwich anywhere. This is a very good place with interesting food - efficient staff- and good ambience. It's the sort of place that when you see the next tables food come out you wish you had ordered that too.

We had to be in Louth, so wanted to have a dinner locally. We decided booking a table at Istanbul, as it had been some time we had been here. We were welcomed friendly and guided to a table. It was fairly busy, all table were occupied. We were handed the menu's and were offered some time to have a look. Not too long after we could order our drinks and as we knew what we wanted to eat we immediately ordered our food. The whole menu looked interesting. But we decided to order 2 sharing platters with salad, vine leaf rolls, olives, etc. and some slices of warm bread. All tested nice. As you can see on the pictures, we ordered a few different dishes for the main. Everything tasted nice, but I personally was not immediately impressed by the taste of the meat/mince rolls. It was mainly spicy, without particular taste, As mentioned it was pleasant and relaxed, with a nice atmosphere.
