I was looking for a bubble tea and found this place in Brighton, the lady in the shop recommended a traditional milk tea with mango jelly, I thought it sounded a bit weird but tried it. It was absolutely delicious. I also got a tropical fruit tea which was refreshing and yummy. Highly recommend!

One of THE best restaurants in Brighton. I never quite got the appeal of Ramen until this place. Their vegan Tan tan is to die for, and this is coming from a devout meat eater. Their takoyaki is consistently good as well, and I recommend the Umeshu soda. My only slight nitpick is that I’m used to pickled ginger being much more pickled/sweet but that might be a personal preference thing. Cannot wait for my next visit!

Our second visit to Bruha, our anticipation was that the food served would be better than our first visit. Unfortunately this was not the case, which was very disappointing. Notably, the lumpia lacked filling and taste, although it was crispy. The pork dish was dry, and lacked seasoning, although the fat was crispy The chicken skewers nicely grilled, but tiny portion with the skin still attached which you could not eat, a very under whelming dish. Pancit noodles were fine, but lacked any vegetables. The deep fried prawns came with shell on, so you are expected to take the shell off before eating, leaving a small dry prawn. What is the point of deep frying!! The Filipino table opposite also said the pork dish was not up to standard. My Filipino wife said, they westernise the dishes, which may be the case, however the idea is you go to a restaurant like Bruha to have authentic tastes from the Philippines. Sadly, the food presented didn't match the true taste of Filipino cuisine. The value for money aspect is another contentious issue. We will continue to support the restaurant in the future. I just hope the food is a little more authentic.
