The best restaurants serving Asian food in South East

Visited twice this month, excellent, attentive customer service, lovely food and wine. Very fine example of a great Thai restaurant.

Restaurant was 80% full when we arrived - super atmosphere. Pleasant welcome, quick efficient service - food was exceptional - especially the Red Curry - chicken 👍

Had a takeaway from the Gurkha restaurant and it was amazing as usual, service was above and beyond, our driver called to say he was running 10 minutes late more like 5 minutes when he arrived and handed us a bottle of beer on the house due to the delay. Top class food and service all round.

Food arrived on time but was cold and chicken substituted for (see picture as not even sure what it is??!)Called to re order but lady hung up on me - called back 6 times and now going straight to voicemail- will not be spending over the odds on what used to be decent food again!

You are greeted with a lovely warm welcome and offered great advice regarding the menu choices. We were on our way to West Bromwich to watch football and normally stay overnight local to that area and always have a curry as it’s our favourite food. But as I had lived in Bicester over 40 years ago had decided on this trip to stop and reminisce and also try a local Indian restaurant. Based on the fantastic reviews we settled on Srishti’s Kitchen and what good fortune we had as the food was just wonderful. We spent a few weeks in India last year and I can genuinely say when she advertises authentic food she 100% hits the spot. The food is fresh, tasty, delicious and straight from the stove to your table. What more could you ask for …..simply wonderful and already on our itinerary for our next trip…..it’s a pity the kitchen isn’t based at the village as we could combine two wonderful experiences Lovely to meet you. Really lovely food in cute garden - friendly and laid back staff and great Asian food. Good value as well

Happened to see this and tried it, having never been to a Filipino restaurant before. The pork belly was really good, as was the kassave cheesecake (much more appetising than it sounds). The calamansi juice tasted great and was really refreshing.

We needed to eat something before going to the Mayflower to see a show but did not want to go somewhere far or which would cost an arm and a leg. We found My Rice on the web, read the reviews on Trip Advisor and thought ‘let’s go for it’. We have not been disappointed! Food was really good, served quickly, pipping hot. Good portion sizes. And located less than 5 min from the theatre. Will visit again for sure!

Always one if my first stops when visiting Whitstable. Joy’s food always hits the spot. Her food is fresh, outstanding quality and the taste rates as 5 ⭐️ The Thai fish cakes and pad Thai are perfection, stop by and grab a bite.

I wanted to treat my Vegan Daughter for a light lunch and she suggested we try this little place tucked away in a side street in Hove. I'm not a vegan but definitely a Thai and can only say what delicious food we had. The taste is 101 % Thai home-cooked with a special mention to the Papaya Salad ( Som Tam ). So good, so moreish. Give me more !! Won't be long before I'm back there again to try the rest of the menu and the Special dishes of the day.

Excellent service excellent food! My partner and I went to the restaurant this evening and we were very impressed! The massaman beef curry was delightful! Great value and great food all round!

We ordered the food online with Marse, which was delivered quickly by Deliveroo. The meals are reasonably priced. I ordered a Combo Rise 2 and momo chicken, while my brother-in-law had a Combo Rise vegetarian option. The food is tasty and well-cooked, and I'll order again with them next time I am in Winchester with my wife and family.
