Yama Thai Kitchen in Thanet

Excellent service excellent food! My partner and I went to the restaurant this evening and we were very impressed! The massaman beef curry was delightful! Great value and great food all round!

Embedded in the 19th Hole pub, this independent Thai restaurant serves Thai dishes which are so authentic you would really need to travel to Bangkok, where Noi, the charmingly delightful owner, is from to equal them. A comprehensive and concise menu of choice Thai delights, many of which have been adapted by Noi to please English taste buds. For example, choose from mild, medium, or full on spice. Starters and main courses are all quite special, and Noi's prawn crackers are a strongly recommended pre starter really delicious. The pub of course supplies the drinks. Fortunately beers goes so well with Thai food, and there's an excellent choice of those. They also have wines, by glass or bottle. These are adequately drinkable as well. We tried it once and became regulars. Try it once, savour Noi's amazing talent, and you will too!

This was by far the best Thai food I have tasted. It was cooked to order, fresh and hot!! The service was exceptional too, very welcoming and friendly. Great food, great service and great value for money. Will definitely be back

Popped in here as it was local to where we were staying, had the spare ribs for starter, they were ok, but have had better, but the mains we had were lovely, would definately return. The staff were excellent. And good value a starter and 2 mains for 36.50

We had a really lovely family meal here, such friendly and lovely service with amazing food to boot! Chilled atmosphere sitting in the pub (some could bring the dogs with us).
