The best restaurants serving Asian food in South Lakeland North West

We traveled through from Windermere to try the Thai Kitchen as it was recommended as having various vegan options as I’ve just discovered I can’t have any Bovine products. We ordered prawn Hope Mok and a pork Panang Curry plus Prawn Crackers. Just wow!! Absolutely lovely balanced flavours, loads of fresh, not soggy, vegetables. Both options had oodles of flavour with each having a different delicious texture. Thoroughly enjoyed it, very filling so no need to over order. Will definitely be going back there from now on for our Thai take aways!! Highly recommend.

Came here Sept 2024 with my family to celebrate a birthday. We live locally and this is our special occasion restaurant because it never disappoints. Fantastic attentive service, we always get a warm welcome. The food is of such high quality made with care and expertise, amazing flavours and worth the price tag in my opinion. Wonderful atmosphere no matter what night of the week. Highly recommend.

A hidden gem. Not a massive menu but that's what I like. My only negatives were the duck rolls were a little greasy and could have done with being crisper and filled with more duck and my portion of sticky rice was very small. Our curries were delicious and chicken satay scrumptious

It was the first time coming to this restaurant and it won’t be our last! We aren’t local to the area but next time we visit we will definitely be booking a table here again. The staff were so friendly and explained the menu in detail, they couldn’t do enough for you. The food was absolutely delicious! Honestly the best burger I have ever had. My husband had the 3 piece meat platter and said it was amazing. The sauces offered were delicious too! Can’t wait to come back here in the not so near future. Thank you for a lovely meal 😁

3 of us had take away, starters, sides and mains. 2 meat eater 1 veggie. All excellent. Really authentic, excellent flavour, not too oily. Would recommend As good as most curry places from Bradford

Absolutely awful. Had to send my main course back because it was tasteless and cold. To add insult to injury, I had to wait 45 minutes for the main course. They can’t cope with customers, awful service, awful food….and expensive ! Don’t bother !!!!

Very little lamb- and it was so chewy we got jaw ache and spat it out. Huge chunks of seared (burned but raw) bell pepper swimming in barely spiced tomato sauce. Sort of a failed Indian/Italian fusion. The only thing worse than the food was the service - intrusive and argumentative! It has been bought out since last time …. But this will be the last time we visit!

Beautiful decor including a Buddha, wide variety of Asian foods, high quality food and presentation. Very reasonably priced. Great service.

El personal era servicial y atento. Gran ambiente, pero sobre todo comida maravillosa. Mi marido ha comido biriyani alrededor del mundo y este fue uno de los mejores. Mi Chef recomendado Plato de gambas con berenjena deliciosa. Los vinos y cervezas a un precio razonable. Cuando en Ambleside una visita a este restaurante.
