My wife and I have stayed here several times, usually getting in late so we don't get to really enjoy the place, but it's always clean, always comfortable, always friendly, and always attentive to detail.

My husband and I stayed and it was a great experience. Nice, clean comfortable rooms, with a fantastic breakfast. Also very close to the downtown for restaurants, shops, etc. Easy for guests to determine themselves how much interaction (or no interaction) they want with others staying. Highly recommend!

So, you need somewhere to stay but you want to feel at home -- better than home. You want to be spoiled, you want some personal attention and maybe a home-cooked breakfast every morning and a glass of wine in the afternoon. You also want a great resource for visitors; like -- Where are the best local hikes? Breweries? Vegan restaurants? Steak House or the best local joint for a smoothie? The locals know. Ask Margit and Rob, the innkeepers of The Ash Street Inn. They are your personalized concierge who lets you stay in their house and makes you a winning breakfast from scratch. It has its own special charm, quality sheets, big, fat, fluffy towels and fresh-baked cookies daily with tea/coffee to enjoy by the fireplace. The Ash Street Inn is one of the most beautiful places to stay in New Hampshire and offers the best value of any lodging in Manchester. Margit and Rob are delightful! Rosemarie Zimmerer, New Jersey

My wife and I stayed one night, a lovely experience. We plan to return when the Currier Museum’s Frank Lloyd Wright houses are open for touring. We felt comfortable, pampered, secure (the owners are on-site 24/7) and well taken care of. The owners/hosts are great - gracious and caring. Our 2nd floor room (207) was a delight - so pretty with lots of windows; roomy; comfortable with a stuffed chair, couch and a desk; quiet, even with a full house that night; a lovely turret and its curved stained glass windows; roomy bathroom; quiet neighborhood. Nice! We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Our previous experiences with BnB’s have been in England and Scotland. This one at Ash Street Inn was at the top. Our next visit will be in warmer weather where we can enjoy their open porch with chairs and tables.

This might be the neatest BnB I’ve ever stayed in. The attention to detail made it super authentic. While I didn’t have the (included) breakfast, it smelled really good (made to order). The rooms are well appointed and lack for nothing. Highly recommend staying with Rob & Margit.

So sweet! The only BNB in town! I stayed here the last night of a work trip, in order to get a feel for Manchester: The house has maintained all the old details, from the stained glass, to the furniture; there is even a working fireplace! It's walking distance from Elm Street, and the Art Museum(although the Frank Lloyd Wright Home, has been closed, lately.) The breakfast was delicious! And they were even able to accommodate Gluten-Free! Can't recommend enough. Thank you, so much!

Awesome free snacks. Cute decorations. Cozy rooms. Good free breakfast. Amicable innkeepers. Easy to park, with easy check-in and check-out process. They also provide free travel amenities such as toothpaste and makeup remover wipes. The TV was nice with a lot of available channels. There was also an infrared space healer included in the room. Conveniently located near attractions downtown.

Everything about Ash Street Inn was lovely! First, room 206 exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, welcoming, homey, comfortable, and very much teal! There was so much thought put into every aspect of the room whether it be the full size bath sheets, ample towel bars, amenities, or even the Febreeze (in case one needed it after using the bathroom). Also, the room was perfectly cleaned. I have an eye for noticing dirt, etc. and my eyes never noticed an undesirable thing. Though it took a minute for the shower water to warm, the room's mechanics were modern. In other words, there was strong water pressure and ample air conditioning which again exceeded my expectations for a home over a century old. The hospitality from the innkeepers was sweet, friendly, and welcoming. Upon being greeted, I was quickly shown where all the snacks and beverages were for use during my stay. The baked goods were in one word: yummy! Breakfast gave you a choice of 4-5 entrees all cooked-to-order. You also had a selection of fruits, cereals, yogurts, and juices. It was always easy to exit the inn regardless of which way you were turning as the streets of this area of Manchester didn't seem to have a lot of traffic. Definitely recommend!

Our only complaint is that we were only able to stay one night. The inn is warm, comfortable, and completely charming. We stayed in room 205, which has a fireplace and four-poster bed. The bed was comfortable, with lots of pillows. There are also thick, snuggly robes for your use. The bathroom is well-equipped and the towels are thick and luxurious. We arrived after hours, but there were snacks and coffee available in the kitchen. This place is a keeper and we'll be back!

Having had a mediocre meal, with very long waits between main courses coming out. My main disappointment was to come home and check my credit card statement to find that I had three different amounts charged when I had ordered the same drink on three occasions. Didn’t realise that price of drinks could fluctuate in such an establishment in the space of minutes.

Lovely and immensely comfortable with antiques and traditional New England decor throughout. The room was gorgeous with a gas fireplace and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Breakfast was fantastic. The hosts are friendly and helpful without being overbearing and they are very knowledge about the area and things to partake in. I regret we did not have the opportunity to stay longer but absolutely plan to stay again soon.

Having noticed Baha on our visit to Bowness at New Year, we liked the look of the establishment - modern, trendy and a good vibe on an evening for cocktails. We decided to visit for Breakfast last Saturday morning, for which we made a huge mistake! Whilst whoever owns the place has invested a considerable amount of money into the furnishings, they've invested zero into staff training or management presence!Having arrived for Brunch we arrived and were greeted by a guy who obviously didn't want to be at work. Asking for a table x4, he pointed to the back of the dining area and told us to sit there and order at the bar. Ordering at the bar sounds quite easy - wrong!! With only x2 members of staff actively serving (whilst a further x2 were floating with their heads in the clouds), we had to queue for over 15 minutes to place our meals and drinks request.Having ordered and paid, it was disappointing that a coffee was missed and we had to request the Bucks Fizz to be served - which is listed on their menu as being included with all main meals! When the food was served, the pancakes had to be returned as they were served cold, including the streaky bacon. The other x3 meals were edible, though bacon under cooked and all meals served warm.Customer service from our experience at Baha is a foreign concept to the members of staff there and sadly I wouldn't recommend for dining; though drinks on an evening at New Year was a different experience.

The innkeepers are gracious and helpful. The made to order breakfast is excellent and exactly as requested in a separate dining room. The rooms are spacious and newly renovated bathrooms are comfortable. The 2 rooms with gas fireplace units are very cozy. The parlor also has a gas fireplace. The location is excellent - it's a half mile from most downtown events and restaurants and yet has a neighborhood feel with the Currier Museum only 2 blocks away. I am definitely returning.

Looking at the reviews and reading the menu online, said that I should try to book a table for a surprise dinner. All been very easy and simple, staff very helpful. Arrived around 19.30 , had some drinks downstairs in a nice environment. We then decided to go upstairs for food. All been spot on. proseco on the table as I preorder, then starters and mains came very quickly even it was full house. Service was amazing, food as well . We didn't try desserts, but promise to do that next visit.

My husband and I came to stay for the weekend on a very cold valentines! We were greeted with the warm smells of freshly baked muffins and the smiles of our innkeepers Rob and Margit. We felt instantly at home. The house is beautiful but warm and comfortable. You can see yourself reading a book by the fire in the parlor. When we got back from our excursions out in the cold we came back to warm mulled wine and great pre-dinner conversation. Rob and Margit even had suggestions for dinner. Then there was breakfast! To die for! Made to order - I have never had that in a B&B. I was really impressed with the focus on the customer. One of the couples staying were vegan and they were totally welcomed with food and choices as was everyone else. I cannot recommend the Ash Street Inn and Rob & Margit enough. My husband and I are already planning our next stay there.
