The best restaurants serving Asian food in County Durham North East

Finally, got round to trying this place after reading several reviews and was not Disappointed! This place offers delivery, take out and has a small seating area up stairs. The menu is full of a variety of Asian inspired dishes and is very well priced. Myself and my partner tried the katsu pork and honey chilli chicken, both meals were delicious! & I cant wait to try some of the other meals available. The staff were very friendly and ran the service very efficiently, considering they were up and down the stairs serving food and cleaning the other tables. Will definitely return 😃

He visto estos chicos en un mercado de alimentos en Durham. La comida no era de este mundo, de lejos, el mejor Pad Thai que he probado jamás. Probaría el Facebook nenas para encontrar dónde están al lado y definitivamente y vea, bien merece una visita!!

A refreshing change to indian or pizza we will be back would taste better in a restaurant but that is not a insult to there food just the ambiance makes all the difference with a bottle of singa beer. Well done to to them great effort will defo recommend

We ordered take away food, it was tricky to know how to get in to pick up our food as we hadn't been before. The food was still piping hot when we got home. There was plenty of it, the ingredients were fresh and it was super tasty! 👌

This lovely little place delivers great food again and again. The staff/owners are so attentive and kind to all. This is a superb dining experience. I cannot praise this amazing place highly enough. Don't take my word for it - go there and experience the food and atmosphere yourself.

El hombre que tomó nuestra orden limpió los baños con un paño. Luego limpió las mesas del restaurante con el mismo paño. Nunca se lavó las manos y decidió recoger bandejas de pepinillo. La comida era tan mala. Debe ser higiene de 1 estrella. No vayas.

Very good food. Decided to give this place a go the other week. We had a box meal and salt/pepper fries. It was tasty. The place inside doesn't look the most advertising, reason for dropping a star.

Food was great. Although, we had to sit at the bar as we didn't book.

Read the recent reviews,about new management etc and thought we would give it another try,as last time we visited was 20yrs ago .on arrival we after being seated,we discovered that infact some of the staff were the same and low and behold the manager was exactly the same man ,who was rude all those years ago to our selves and friends of ours ,we had been coming here then for over 2 x years until that night .previous reviews have stated that this had been taken over and under new management !!! This was a total fabrication !!. Disappointed !!! the food was disappointing chicken tikka starter was tough, Lamb buna tough, Onion Bhaji nice ,chicken tikka masala was nice nan was nice, Waiting on staff very nice , But the reviews about new management etc Total lies . Will not be returning for another 20yrs Disappointing after the Glorious Reviews !

Excelente comida, excelente relación calidad-precio, excelente cerveza, excelente personal, Karen es una anfitriona encantadora y Steve mantiene la mejor pinta de NONJOHNS en el condado. Vamos regularmente debido a todo lo anterior y el hecho de que utilizan productos de origen local, tienen un ambiente cálido y agradable donde nada es demasiado problema y siempre se siente bienvenido. SÓLO ENCANTADOR.

Ordered a Chanawala over the phone and checked it was vegetarian, on collection was dismayed by the same woman who had been talking about smelling stinky feet in the kitchen, she came out of the kitchen appearing pretty unclean. I got home and the meal had meat in. When I called about this she denied hearing me say anything about being vegetarian. Won't be going there again. Would not recommend.
