Lovely tasty food at good prices

Always Fresh, hot and tasty - what more can I say!! The Chicken green curry is to die for, but everything I’ve had has been lovely. Always a queue - and it’s clear most customers are repeat customers. Eaten here so many times and never been let down. The perfect lunchtime food in the city centre.

We had been looking forward to trying the ROK kitchen and were not disappointed. We received a very nice welcome and were quickly seated. The ROK is only small but there are several tables and a couple outside. The menu caters for both meat and non meat eaters. We settled for loaded katsu curry fries with chicken and a chicken rice bowl with the ROKs home made Gochujang hot sauce, lovely! All the food was delicious. Theres tofu and quorn onions for non meat eaters. There's also a great selection of drinks including ROK lager brewed by the Brentwood Brewery and other local beers. Prices were reasonable for both food and drinks. Really enjoyed it and will return.

I've been using Asia Gardens for years but I won't be back in a hurry..Theres always been trouble with the delivery,but the last 2 vegetable dhansaks I've had have been so undercooked that the lentils had a crunch to them and the potatoes were raw in the middle.The rice was not seasoned and my chicken tikka naan bread had very little chicken in it.My wifes chicken biryani had 2 pieces of chicken in it and it was tough and like rubber.Didnt bother to phone and complain as you wait an age for delivery as it is..Not sure if it's a different chef or they are just cutting corners But very very disappointed
