Drovers Arms

Llandyrnog, Denbighshire
13/03/2019: whilst out last Saturday lunch time we was looking for a place to have lunch, we only wanted a bar snack, we came across The Drovers Arms, lovely place to eat, Our meals were nice, Lady who took our order and who was also working the bar was really nice, all in all we would call again if we was in the area again
10/03/2019: I’ve recently moved to Ruthin and saw all the good reviews for this pub, I’m so glad I listened to the reviews as we had an excellent meal and the staff are wonderful! Sunday lunch was enjoyed by all, my 6 year old asked if we can come back every week as it was delicious. He also loved one of the ladies who looked after us. We sure will be regulars to this little gem now. Can’t wait for our next visit. Very happy customers

The Palomino Bar and Restaurant

Connah's Quay South, Flintshire
01/03/2019: Staff are always lovely, Georgia was friendly and attentive . Service is very fast, food from the new menu was gorgeous! Would definitely recommend! 🍻🍔

Hickory's Smokehouse

Llandrillo yn Rhos, Conwy
19/03/2019: Attended a birthday party at the weekend, not the busiest I’ve ever seen it but steady. Shown straight to table .. no issues.
17/03/2019: Absolutely disgraced! Pink grapefruit iced tea? More like toilet juice. Appalling service, have 3 kids but apparently only two of them are visible? Cheers, sons crying.

Harveys New York Bar and Grill

Gogarth, Conwy
18/02/2019: I had food at this restaurant I was not happy with the food or service the food was cold and served on a old wooden board full off cuts to carry bacteria it also had paper under the food that was wet and soggy the colour was transferring to my food yuk ribs cold chicken dry as a bone chips in a old tin cup butter ran off cor on com and on board and table soaked into old board the staff would carry glasses at the rim ie the top weir u had to drink from I shall not ever return to this establishment.
15/02/2019: Great food delicious ribs and steak. Staff friendly and efficient. Nice atmosphere good value well worth a visit

Harvey's New York Bar & Grill

Rhuddlan, Denbighshire
11/03/2019: I do like it here as the food is nice. The philly cheese steak is melt in the mouth. Service was extremely slow this visit considering the restaurant wasn't busy but the staff are always friendly. It's not the cheapest place but I prefer it to Frankie and Benny's because I think the food is quality and the children's menu is good value.
04/03/2019: Got a takeaway from the drive-thru on Sunday, few little dramas along the way, and to top it all, when we got home the order was wrong..., you couldn’t have written it if you know what I mean...

Llindir Inn

Denbigh Upper/Henllan, Denbighshire, 20-30£
08/03/2019: Called in for a couple of pints with my wife. Lovely atmosphere, lots of locals as well as people visiting. Staff excellent so decided to have the takeaway fish and chips. Absolutely amazing, I will dream about the next time I can have them 👍
23/02/2019: Found this place mentioned in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide, and dropped in unplanned. What a find! The food was absolutely delicious. Clearly home cooked, great quality ingredients. A cut above normal pub food, but at sensible prices. Beer (local) was great top. Don’t miss this place! It’s a gem!

Time Cafe Bar

Conwy, Conwy, <20£
27/08/2018: Ok looks good ,smells nice ,surly staff ,presentation average cleanliness average . Menu boring , food variable i swear the jacket potatoe was a Frozen Mccain one . Coffee was nice ,all in all over priced and just a bit disappointing .
25/07/2018: Popped in for the first time here and so glad we did. One of the nicest coffee had in very long while! Lovely laid out inside and great selection on menu. It;s very popular and you'll see why. Nice friendly staff, and lovely cakes.....what more can u ask for!

Frankie & Benny's

Smithfield, Wrexham
08/03/2019: Tonight me and my friend decided to go out for dinner after work. We were waiting about an hour for our food at the chester restaurant. Our waitress was Rhiannon from the Wrexham restaurant and she was honestly one of the best waitresses I have ever been served by. Me and my friend hadn’t even noticed we had been waiting so long but Rhiannon had noticed the wait and offered us drinks for the troubles. She then went further and gave us desserts for the long wait too! I also ordered pickles on my burger and although I had already eaten them she walked past and asked if they had remembered by pickles, details that a lot of people would pay attention too! After working in a restaurant previously for 6 years it is amazing to see that little training tips such as time keeping and check backs were being put in to practice so well! She definitely deserves a lot more praise than the tip and review we have given her because she isn’t only an amazing asset to your restaurant but to frankie and benny’s as a whole chain! ☺️
02/03/2019: Having arrived in Wrexham first time visit! We found a Frankie & Bennys! Next to the cinema we were visiting with our grandchildren. It looked extremely busy and I didn’t think we would get such a good service because of the volume of customers!

Frankie & Benny's Chester Broughton

Broughton North East, Flintshire
12/03/2019: This is a pretty standard Frankie and Benny’s. The food and service was good. Orders were taken promptly and food arrived in good time, everything tasted pretty good. Download the F&B;’s app to get offers regularly e.g 40% off mains.
19/02/2019: We visited on Sunday, arriving around 12 and it was quiet in there. The waitress (Tamsin I think?) was lovely, she was very friendly and through in taking our drinks order and gave us just enough time to look at the menu before taking that order. This is where it went slightly downhill. We ordered dough balls between 2 adults and 2 children to start, the garlic butter was completely melted, which was strange considering the dough balls were only just warm. But they tasted good even if they did take quite a while. To come out. Between starter and main it seemed to take forever! Once the food was out my daughters meatball burgers were missing the cheese it said on the menu, they were very good and bought over a pot of it. Food was tasty and cooked well, better than a lot Of frankie and bennys we have been to. However we ended up having to get the kids puddings to take out at the same time as the bill as it had been 2 hours since we got in to when we could find someone to ask for the bill and the desserts as the service was so slow now. Plates were never cleared when we left and the place wasn't full there were still empty tables so a little disappointed in that. Overall ncie food though.

Frankie & Benny's

Grosvenor, Wrexham, <20£
08/02/2019: Decided to come here on Friday for lunch, I'm not Vegan but wanted to try something different,I wasn't disappointed if I'm honest,I had the Viva la vegan burger with fries n salad,my wife had the Carbonara,Son and Daughter in law had vegan and gluten free food,we all enjoyed our meals, staff really good, spotlessly clean place, will definitely return, well worth the money.
07/02/2019: Visited this morning for breakfast. We were made to feel extremely welcome. The service from Alex was above and beyond what you normally expect. Nothing was too much trouble despite us staying much longer, we didn't feel pressured to leave. My friend had her little baby with her and breast fed throughout our visit which was welcomed .. Very family friendly. I would very much recommend a visit.

Carousal Cafe

Abermaw, Gwynedd
16/01/2019: food below average, young staff helpful however older staff are not friendly at all and very slow and low standards and have a record of getting orders wrong...
21/11/2018: Waited nearly 40 minutes for take away and only 2 or 3 in queue ahead of us. 2 staff there and seemed so slow as they were trying to serve those sat down too. Everyone in the queue couldn’t believe it. After ordered and money taken you were also ignored and your ticket just left on the counter. We popped down from the RAOB club in a hurry and hadn’t read reviews or we’d have never come in. Seen the review about the bogey and can well believe it! My partner had to go back to play in the club before we got the food, so by the time he could eat it it was cold. My pitta bread was constantly handled by a server who had disgusting dirty finger nails, so when I got it I could only pick at the chips, it turned my stomach. Gave 2 stars as I think the food would have been edible had it not been for the stressful wait and the hygiene putting me off.

Kentucky Fried Chicken

Mostyn, Conwy
14/02/2019: The poor quality of the food is surpassed only by the incompetence of the staff. How difficult can it be to serve two pieces of chicken and chips? Not once or even twice but three times. Unbelievable
14/02/2019: Me and my friend were visiting our local kfc where we were just minding our own business and we had ordered food, we sat down eating our food whilst having our own conversation and occasionally laughing, after half an hour one member of staff approached our table who we thought was very rude since she asked us to leave and failed to specify a reason why when we asked her, she was trying to get us to leave by thinking of any excuse to tell us to leave, she also said that we were laughing at her which we weren’t, we were having our own conversation and weren’t being loud at all, she left our table and went to contact another member of staff to come over where we got his name (zak), he came over to our table and was being verbally aggressive towards us both, telling us to leave for no apparent reason and excusing us of things that didn’t even happen, one member of staff (zac) excused us of “pouring a can onto the floor” when there was nothing on the floor whatsover and also said that we were “making their staff feel uncomfortable” which wasn’t true at all as me and my friend didn’t look or pay attention to any members of staff whilst eating our food , once saying all this to us this man threatened to contact the police and we feel we were disrespected and were treated very rude

Porters Cove

Abersoch,Llanengan, Gwynedd, 30-45£
09/03/2019: We were staying in Abersoch so our nearest venue to eat was here so we went in. We were taken to a table promptly as it wasn’t busy due to the winter trade and were treated to a lovely meal and good service too. The restaurant does feel as if your sat in a city nightclub with the lights on but in general it’s very nice and spotlessly clean.
18/11/2018: We had a drink in the Hub first as we had booked a table at Porters Cove, hadn't realised that Porters was a bar as well as a restaurant, otherwise would have gone straight there! Lovely, clean and bright place the staff were tremendous and really helpful. They say you can tell a restaurant by the loos and these were spotless and bright. After perusing the menu and specials board we ordered the King prawns starters and sirloin steak rare to medium rare. Small mistake that the starters did not come. So I suggested that as they had brought the steaks first we could also get the starters cooked and served, whilst we tucked into the steak after all Surf and Turf is a legit dish! Sure enough they arrived very quickly. The Steak were beautifully presented with a bucket of chips, a lovely concoction of vegetables which was delicious, the pictures say it all. Steak cooked to perfection. Washed down with a delicious bottle of Pinot Grigio, followed by a full bodied large glass of Merlot The kings prawns were superb and complimented the steak beautifully. Too full for dessert, instead had a coffee by the fire and met a delightful couple. One of the chef's came out to see if everything OK which was a nice touch. The new managers also asked if all OK and were very attentive. Great value, great food, great atmosphere - will definitely go back to try some of the smoked dishes. Must be brill in the summer with the outside patio watching the goings on of Abersoch. Thank you and see you again soon.

Rhyl West, Denbighshire
07/02/2019: As you may tell from the title my chicken burger lacked an important ingredient, the chicken. When I spoke to the "staff" about this issue she seemed like she didn't care. I only got a replacement burger after I had to raise my voice.
02/02/2019: I never go to a Fast food place but this time i had too because was in a rush and it was late.
