The best restaurants serving American food in Scotland

It looked good, however being the only 3 people in the restaurant it still took about an hour to receive our food 🧐🤨. To make matters worst the bill wasn’t split in three initially and created all manner of chaos with the Eat out to help out malarky. A simple void of the bill and re-doing split into three it with the discount applied would have been simpler but management refused 😒... Friendly waitresses but ended up in a bitter experience overall and i would not go back nor recommend...To boot the sausages were still a little undercooked.

It's really cosy, the stuff is super friendly and the food is really good! I liked it a lot!

Pizza tasred great, went into the shop and the hamilton banter was great, couldn't keep a straight face, free entertainment while waiting, was even asked if I wanted to try a sample of some different chips as well to see if I liked them or not. Was asked if I had any suggestions for the future so guys could come up with different food experience....I am definitely going back.

I hate leaving one star reviews, but thought it was worth leaving a review to say that we arrived to find the place shut. Nothing on Google or the website. Took several minutes perusing the Internet to find an article from Glasgow Live confirming Steak & Cherry closed in October of 2024. I imagine that won't be news to anyone who's local, but as someone who isn't, we were a bit disappointed (and sorry to hear).

Great for food especially the chicken and there strawb daquiris , our server samuel went above and beyond, very pleased with my experience

Wow, just wow. I honestly can’t thank the team at Cocktails and Steaks enough for making our family meal so special. We recently lost our aunt, and since she lived down south, not everyone got a chance to say goodbye. So her daughter (our cousin) came up with the idea to have a family dinner in Scotland—her hometown—to celebrate her life. From the moment we booked, the team went above and beyond. They reserved the whole upper floor just for us, asked about any dietary needs ahead of time, and even suggested we send in our menu choices early so the chef could be prepared—especially since it was a Sunday and things sell out fast. On the day, everything ran so smoothly. The team were super attentive, all the food came out together, and it was absolutely delicious. Honestly, this meal turned into such a beautiful memory for my cousin and the whole family. Huge thanks to everyone at Cocktails and Steaks!

Popped into The Bothy for morning coffee and a scone with a friend. Alas no scones - plenty of sweet cakes which we did not really fancy in the morning. So I asked if we could please have toast but the waitress didn't think so. I asked if she would mind asking in the kitchen which she did and she came back and said no sorry you can't have toast.I should have known because we had heard the gentleman next to us ask if he could have a roll with bacon and Lorne sausage together. The waitress said they did not like to deviate from the menu. On the menu there was a bacon roll and there was a Lorne sausage roll but they could not put that into one roll . Surely you try to please your customers if you want them to come back. I know my friend and I will not be rushing back.

Hollie was fantastic. She was here with no management and couldn’t do more for us. No waiting time. She was the hostess with the mostess and we couldn’t ask for more. We are only up 3 times a year and every time she offers a professional experience and the venue wouldn’t be the same without her. Thank you to hollie and oceans 11 for the great hospitality. Nice and quiet atmosphere. We had the calamari.....chicken wings and haggis nachos. All were delicious. Then we had the steak and ale pie.....chicken parmesan......aged steak and a large Royal salad. All were off the chart delicious.

Came here because I was craving american style chicken wings, only to find them soggy and overcooked. I raised this to the server and he said they “slow cooked” the wings 🥴🥴 which is unheard of for American-style chicken wings because they’re usually deep fried, air fried, or baked in the oven. It was just clear that it wasn’t fresh. Don’t come here expecting american style chicken wings, styling themselves as an american diner restaurant is misleading.
