Steak and Cherry in Glasgow City

Been a few times over the years and really enjoy the atmosphere and service. Hoping it comes back in the future 👍

Really good steakhouse. The haggis balls started I had was excellent, and the ribeye steak just as good. Proper homemade battered onion rings, and good desserts too. Top service, and a great experience all round. I was surprised it wasn't more busy given how good the food was.

As an Australian, I love my tea. Called in on a wet, blustery day and had a lovely cuppa and a beautifully presented Creme Broulee with Strawberries. Thank you for your hospitality.

If you come with a coupon it's ok. While visiting Glasgow we came for dinner to try the “Sunday Roast”. Chicken and beef, two cocktails and two desserts. Average food quality. If we had paid the menu price it would have been a lot. With the coupon the value for money is ok. Cocktails with little alcohol, good tasting meat but not freshly prepared, desserts not exactly sweet. Very fast waiter, attentive and kind. 5 stars for him, 3 stars for the rest.

shame. ordered steak mash and mac and cheese but it arrived cold. everything was cold

Had a voucher and went with a friend, booked it for 4.30 and we were the only folk in the restaurant, no one came in while we were there. Staff member was very helpful and friendly, food was good

Food was great, lovely staff. It was early evening so a bit quiet. Only complaint was the price of a sofa water, over £3 !!

Food was passable. Delivery time was great, portion sizes were good, but I don't think the food was worth the price.

I buy always roast beef with fried potatoes and veg but I buy separate side salad and food it's excellent big portion and delivery very fast everything it's tasty but I recommend potatoes omg so good and nice suprise I get my food delivered in nice bag who keeps temperature food great everything was hot I really recommend

Thought the food was nice at the time. Two members of my party of three were ill later on that night and next day. Didn’t appreciate the sneaky service charge for a group of three! Won’t return

We are from the USA and appreciate a good steak and good sea food. The steak was excellent done right and rested. The salmon was excellent and cooked correctly. The lentil soup was delicious.

Ordered the best wings I've had in a while from here, they were so good but then few days later I ordered same ones and sadly got sent old stock. Night and day difference between the two orders. First was so fresh and juicy

Went here for first time yesterday and ordered the S&C Legend Burger and husband had the T-Bone steak. The burger was lovely, really enjoyed it although I suspect the chips were not hand-cut as described but still good. Husbands steak wasn’t impressive for the price - cooked well as he wanted it but dry and it was quite cold, also the tomatoes weren’t cooked long enough. He said the mash potatoes were lovely. Cocktails were delicious and service was excellent. Nice vibe in the restaurant too cool decor and nice music. Would recommend going for the burger.

Attended here and sat in the Sean Connery booth with my wife and 16 year old daughter. All had an exquisite meal that none of us could fault. Even down to a couple of cokes that were served in a glass bottle 👍. The staff were pleasantly attentive and not overbearing and the general appearance and atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. We will certainly be back.

Went in with high hopes with what we saw online but it was an okay experience. Food was alright nothing too fancy or exeptional. The mocktails were great.

I'm sorry but 1 star is all I can give. Medium steak was near enough blue. The chips were colder then the north pole. The corn had no butter and my mocktail had no ice. Probably won't order again.

Usually spot on but disappointed steaks certainly not rate not even med rare, no cherry gravy as I've been sent a spicy sauce so not the best considering I love the house cherry sauce, chips are a messy soggy riot. Hopefully it's just a busy night mix ups happen

One of the best steak in Glasgow, different options and amazing test

First time here. It was a gift from my son. The staff were lovely. Sunday roast was amazing huge platefull.. ice cream and toffee pudding to follow. Highly recommend Steak and Cherry. Great food very helpful staff. 👌👌

Visited on a groupon foe Sunday roast. First visit but defo be back. Food great, huge portions, well cooked & piping hot. Homemade lentil soup is fab. Chicken so good. Staff lovely! Recommended!

I took my fiance here, we had a lovely evening, we both had steaks, mine was great but my fiance's was overcooked (asked for medium-rare, was medium at best). Our order was also lost so had to chase after a wait. However, the staff were great and very friendly, lovely atmosphere, would go back a 2nd time 🙂

I ordered the Lasagna. Very nice, but tiny. Not a place to eat if hungry! I think I would say it was overpriced for what I received.

My 2nd visit to this restaurant. Had the same option as last time (Philly cheese steak baguette), it was so delicious the 1st time. My friend had the Bang Bang chicken burger, it looked delicious. She said it was amazing. Pre-theatre visits both times and would definitely be back. Good idea to book in advance as it can get very busy. Staff and food are excellent. Can’t wait until my next visit! ❤️

Visited here whilst in Glasgow for work. Another review stated it served Halal steaks, so I called, and they confirmed they serve Halal beef steaks, beef burgers, and hot dogs, which are cooked separately. The steak was lovely. It was a 10oz ribeye with peppercorn sauce, which was equally as delicious. The mac and cheese was creamy, and overall, the service was good, albeit it was an extremely quiet early weekday evening. Would certainly consider visiting again.

Food was outstanding Was on the lookout for a good steak that also had other options on the menu for some people who were attending that didn't like steak and this place knocked the steak quality out the park. Highly recommend and very quiet

Lovely, welcoming and very friendly welcome on a cold January eve. Perfectly cooked steak, tasty portion of Calamari to start, woukd definitely return.

Booked here for a meal on New Years Eve and honestly it was fabulous. My partner had a T-Bone steak and he said it’s the best steak he’s ever had. The staff were lovely and helpful and the drinks were good too. Such a hidden gem we will definitely be back!

Went for a meal with family before going to panto at the Kings Theatre. Good choice of food for everyone and good choice for drinks too. Enjoyed by all.

The food and cocktails were lovely. Service was a bit off, our starter and soft drinks were forgotten about until halfway through our main, server seemed a bit wired to the moon to be honest but was pleasant enough!

It was an exceptionally busy night for midweek, but still feel that we were waiting a while for our order to be taken and for more drinks.

Went in early Saturday evening (4pm) so it was quiet. Staff were super friendly, Colin 1, chatted away recorded a few things on menu. Food was tasty and service was prompt. Two or three members of staff asked how or meal was but in a very laid back casual way. I definitely would go back it was very enjoyable.

Nice looking place but the food was average, served on cold plates. Hubby ordered chicken with side of one piece of fairly uncooked broccoli and three slices of carrot. Haddock and chips was good. Service was pretty poor. Staff didn't seem to know whose table they were serving as our meals were given to wrong table. Overall very average.

Amazing dinner option when looking for a steak house and have a large group. The staff were so friendly and attentive, even with the kiddos. Steak was cooked perfectly and their mashed potatoes are divine!

I ordered a soup but did not receive it

Took several attempts on ordering and after asking several our rude ignorant waiter eventually completed the drinks order! We ordered 2 roast beef Sunday dinners which were absolutely terrible . Tough meat frozen Yorkshire’s and veg . My school dinners were better . Other 2 had the Philly cheesesteak were average at best . Needless to say after spending £115 for the pleasure we will not be revisiting again Ps we should have smelt a rat when we were in the customers in the entire place at lunchtime on a Sunday for Sunday lunch ! Lesson learnt !!

Restaurant qui d'un premier abord n'a pas l'air incroyable de l'extérieur mais comme vous le savez, on ne juge pas un livre sur sa couverture. Une très belle surprise en entrant avec un personnel très chaleureux. Une cuisine des plus plaisantes avec une bonne ambiance et les serveurs(se) toujours aux petits soins. Je recommande fortement.

Half cooked frozen and absolutely disgusting

Quality was really good with the exception of the gravy, meat was beautiful but such a shame its partnerd with a totally tasteless gravy. Hope this is something yous can look into

Not too busy on a Friday evening. Started with Haggis balls, and they were very well done. The whisky sauce compliments well. My wife had the Steak Pie, and I had the Sea Bass. Expertly cooked and delicious on both counts. For dessert, I had the Sticky Toffee Pudding and an espresso. Excellent on both counts. We were served/attended to by 4 gentlemen - and they were gentlemen. One of which was the manager. Perfect poise, generosity, respect, and friendliness. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone and will be sad not to have this place to frequent at home. However, the experience is one I will keep forever.

The food is incredibly good, the staff are lovely, prices are reasonable in the current climate. The decor is a bit tired, but don't let that put you off - if you're looking for good, fancy food that doesn't break the bank, but also doesn't require you dress to the nines to fit in, give this place a go. I'm glad we did <3

Lovely ribeye steak with the cherry sauce as free bbq wings were lovely too. My only gripe would be that it could be packaged better to keep the food warm on arrival.

Our meal here was great, 10oz Sirloin Steak was cooked to perfection exactly as ordered, dessert was also great however ice cream wasn't the best quality. Service was second to none though, waiters were very polite gentlemen and always made sure we had what we needed, we will definitely be back.

Amazing steak cooked perfectly and wonderful chips

Food below average steak was so over cooked was more like stew, chips were soggy and very small portion considering the price, macaroni was very bland and milky tasting, lasagna was small portion not much mince quite bland as well, very poor in all. Was expecting a higher standers due to price but better quality max and cheese and lasagna out a chippy, the price really doesn’t reflect the grade of food
