Delicious Fresh food, fun atmosphere. Quality weekend brunch spot.

Second visit. Service was amazing, really homey feel about the place, everyone was nice and welcoming. Food The food was excellent my partner ordered the poached egg on toast with Black-pudding & Hash-brown, she said it was unreal & she loved the hollandaise sauce. Good to see the place is using a nice black-pudding and not some awful cheap one, it is way too common these days. I ordered a basic french toast with Nutella, again, really lovely taste, french toast with spot on. The hot chocolate was great also. Brooklyn cafe is probably one of the best places for food and service you can get, it is fairly priced, it is cosy, service is excellent, food is excellent. 5/5 highly recommend.

The staff were absolutely welcoming and lovely. The food was gorgeous and it’s in a great location. Sid and Olivia served us. They made sure we were good all the way through. Both of them were very kind to us.

Served by Olivia and Sid! Such amazing staff and vibes. The homemade spicy sauces were amazing I’d have taken a bottle home. Our full breakfast came and we were surprised with the variety of extra things, it was amazing. Also watching Sid interact with the kids and families. Definitely would come back again!

Sweetest staff ever, accommodates to all our needs, it is quite busy but not long waiting times. I recommend trying the sauces the server recommends. 10/10 would come again

Not been in years and so much better than I remember. Food was really fresh, tasted excellent and well presented. Vegan options were brilliant and the doggy menu was great for our pooch. Staff were really friendly and attentive and everything was reasonably priced. Nice coffee and vegan shakes which were great. Looking forward to coming back.

Had a great lunch here the other day. I've been coming to Brooklyn Cafe for a few years and I am always happy with the food and service. Our server Sid was amazing, checking in on us and making us feel very well looked after. Highly recommend!

We had lovely Sid serving us and he was a doll! Took such good care of us and our dog! We will be back for sure.

I’ve been coming to this cafe for years now on and off and I was in at the weekend for a spot of brunch with my family the food and the service from start to finish was knockout, me and my sister were obsessed with watching Sid perform their iconic magic tricks to children in at the time and who even kindly indulged us when we asked to see it again at our table. we also bonded with another member of staff over the Sabrina Carpenter themed cakes which were delicious! I’ll be back soon!!

Lovely friendly atmosphere with lots of vegan choices. The vegan flat sausage is delicious, just wished I was hungrier to try some of the other options. Welcoming and friendly and would highly recommend

The food in Brooklyn Cafe is always absolutely delicious and the service is amazing. They are always willing to accommodate, quick service, really friendly staff and Sid's magic tricks for the kids just make it the best place in Glasgow.

We came here with our dog and toddler, they were treated like royalty by all the servers. A special mention to Sid who was amazing, not just with us but every table. We watched him at work and he constantly had a smile, and a few good magic tricks for any kids dinning. I feel good service is rather hard to come by these days but not at Brooklyn Cafe.

We had lunch here, food was delicious and Sid our server was so attentive it made for a lovely experience.

Place was freezing when I was in. So cold my food and coffee was getting cold on their plate and cup respectively as I tried to eat them. Staff were wondering around in their outside jackets. I was there at opening time, I think it must warm up after that, but I wouldn't go at opening if I were you. Food tasted alright, but the temperature thing was an issue.

Both the lovely young lady with red hair, and also Sid and his magic sauce, are so friendly and genuine.This cafe is lovely and hospitable. The food portions are on the large side but of a very good quality. The coffee is the best I have tasted south central side in Glasgow.

Visited with my young daughter, trip was made truly memorable by the outstanding service received by Sid. Went the extra mile to entertain my daughter.

Regularly order and sit in at Brooklyn but had to leave a review after the staff hand delivered our order after mess ups with uber, always so friendly and accommodating whether picking up or sitting in, with lovely food to boot. Thanks again :)

We had a good time here - the food was great and the staffs were really nice! They offered a very cute receipt with Sid’s profile on it - we definitely loved it!

Wow , what a lovely place this is . The Staff were excellent and very welcoming and friendly . The food was Excellent , I would truly recommend this location . They should get Bigger premises because they'll have the clientele queuing . Definitely worth 5 Stars .

Always been a big fan of this place... but got the vegan loaded tater-tots to try—hands down the worst thing I've ever ordered anywhere, ever. "Loaded" meant utterly drowned in the finest cheap sweet chilli sauce, with a couple of vegan plastic cheese slices thrown on top. What it lacked in taste, it made up for in comedy. Was rank, like something you'd see on Gordon Ramseys kitchen nightmares, you know, at the start when he's giving them the biz'ness. Also cut out the West End nonsense with mustard coulis streaks and all that, there's enough of that. Get back to being the best 'cafe' cafe.

Loved going here with my mother now deceased, shame the Brooklyn has also went under like my poor mother. Went in a few months back and it was on its last legs like a punch drunk boxer just praying for the towel to be tossed in, I'm sure the delivery drivers won't miss it especially as the owner always had a complaint about missing stock ? We came for a birthday lunch today, and Sid was just fantastic. Food was amazing, Sid made us all feel so welcome and you could tell he was genuinely happy to be there. Will definitely be back!

Had an absolute amazing time catching up with family here. Sid and Tom were an absolute delight keeping everyone smiling and laughing. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Food was to die for and just the right amount, can't beat homemade sweets either. The stamp of Sid was just so good, will definitely be back!!

We love coming here - especially when Sid is there. He shared his birthday magic with us today, making it an unforgettable lunch for my young son and me. From magic tricks, to making his ice cream literally sparkle - we couldn't be more grateful to Sid and the team's warmth and brilliant service. I've popped into Brooklyn Cafe on occasion in the past, but it had been a few years before my last visit yesterday. I'd always enjoyed the food and service I'd had there, but it seems like in my absence both have stepped up even more. I ordered a big vegan breakfast, my wife ordered a pulled pork, cheddar and southwest sauce toastie with broccoli and stilton soup, and we also ordered French toast to break up and give wee bits to our 19 month old son. All of the above was DELICIOUS. Speaking of our son, he had a wonderful time largely thanks to the efforts of Sid, our host, who was very friendly and spent a lot of time entertaining not only our son but the other wee baby who happened to be sat behind, us with stickers, jokes and the energy of a real entertainer. Hamza, our server, was also very friendly and efficient, and Olivia the runner was fantastic. Great staff, great food and great value! We definitely won't be leaving it anywhere near as long before our next visit.

This place is a lovely short stroll from my apartment where we had hot and cold drinks, bagels, sandwiches and soup. The bagels were delicious and filled so generously, the sandwiches were just such a good eat, the soup was perfectly piping hot. We all got fed and watered in no time flat. Shout out to Sid who gave us a few giggles 😆 Recommend!

Can’t believe this is the first time i’ve been here - will definitely be back! The food was lovely, really generous portion sizes, served really quickly and Sid was so helpful and sweet. He makes it a very welcoming atmosphere (as do the rest of the staff too) 😊

Came in for brunch with my partner and parents and had such a lovely time. Sid in particular was amazing, and provided us with sauces of his own making for us to try, and sent us home with some as well! The food was delicious and enjoyed by all, we’ll definitely be back for more.

Went here for a late lunch today and it was amazing. Our server Sid was absolutely brilliant, taking such good care of us and my wee dog. He made such a fuss of my wee pup and just made the overall service experience that little extra bit amazing. The food was lovely as always. Very dog friendly spot which is ideal. Wow! Absolutely fantastic service from our host Sid, he was so well organised and effective at managing the very busy, popular cafe. The food is amazing, I had the big vegan breakfast and it was the best square sausage I've eaten. I'm vegetarian so I asked for a poached egg and was perfect, extremely kid friendly and lots of options for little ones. My boys even received a gift as it was just after Christmas. Highly recommend, I wish I lived close by 💗

Brilliant lunch today with friends and fur babies. Staff are so friendly and helpful - Sid is our favourite! They make you feel so welcome. The dogs are also treated so beautifully. Had brunch here recently and it couldn’t have been better. The loveliest and most attentive staff. Food was amazing, I had a full breakfast and a cappuccino. Can’t fault the place! 100% will be back!

Went today with my daughter and 2 grandsons (1 toddler, 1 newborn). Amazing welcome from Sid , food was amazing, lovely atmosphere. Grandson even got a Christmas present. Will definitely be back soon

My favorite place in Shawlands! Food is always fantastic and they have great menu. But it's the amazing staff that really gives this cafe the 5 star experience as they are so welcoming, attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend!

I had so many fond memories but when I visited for coffee today with my friend it was far from my fond memories Rotas , being asked if I was finished my lovely cookie whilst still eating , being asked if I wanted the bill, being asked when paying the bill DID I want my change back !!! First class service, delightful people, wonderful food, and a great menu. Our waiter, Olivia, was really helpful and pleasant; the supervisor/manager was a delight to us and, seemingly, everyone else around.

Not the first time we’ve been here and certainly won’t be the last .Everytime we’ve came the food and service has been excellent especially Sid , made the whole experience for us . Couldn’t recommend any more

Excellent service. Our waiter, Sid, was fantastic with my son. He checked in regularly offering different little things to keep him entertained and give him some attention. This was really helpful as my lunch buddy was late and my toddler could easily have become a bored handful. His personalised stamp was really appreciated 😂 😆 The coffee was great and the food was lovely. Haven't been in years but we'll be back!

Was in yesterday put our order in and wai well over a hour for our food not one of waitresses who kept passing our table gave a explanation why my daughter had to ask what was happening with or food been going to the Brooklyn for a long time in future I will give it a miss

Brooklyn Cafe has a lovely atmosphere, lots of veggie and vegan options, and delicious cakes for afters.

By far, favourite brunch spot in the southside (controversial, I know), with customer service at the core. Food is of superb quality, with all the brunch classics and a few more left field options. Always attentive and rarely left waiting for a table or to order. Good portion sizes, and the homemade hot sauces are a must-try to complete your experience here. Multiple toilets, good dietary preference/allergen options. To top it all off, Sid and the team have created a really wonderful atmosphere here. Friendly, warm, not too loud and always so cosy. Served by Rita - 10/10, no notes, even at peak time.

Great food, nice staff. Had the haggis eggs benedict, was amazing and a decent portion. Good gluten free options, with an entire separate menu. We went around 3pm and got a table in about 10 minutes, but can imagine you'd queue for a while at busy times. Oh aye, and the print stamps were well funny.

What a fantastic place with delicious food and friendly atmosphere! With a gluten allergy it can be really tricky to find somewhere that you feel safe to eat and the only time I doubted them was when I tasted the food and found it hard to believe it could be that good and gluten free.

I love this place apart from the food being fantastic the service was top notch, the atmosphere was relaxed and the surroundings loved it all I would highly recommend coming here and having something to eat.

Well presented range of brunch dishes - but it’s the welcoming and friendly service which makes this such a brilliant wee cafe. The 4 of us visited on a very busy Sunday lunchtime having failed to find a table elsewhere in Shawlands but the queue at the Brooklyn Cafe was efficiently managed. We loved the unexpected but delicious little extras such as homemade sauces. Sid was a star!

The staff really make the place, Sid is amazing and so welcoming to our baby girl who loves him too! The staff always make a fuss and do their best to make eating out with a little one as easy as possible for us. Food is always really good and we’re always happy to go back!

Such a fabulous Sunday Brunch after the Glasgow Half Marathon! Chilled vibes for a family of 5 , 3 kids happy and really enjoyed their meal. Staff are so friendly and reliable and Special mention to Sid who kept the kids entertained . Taking orders before seated was great and no one had to wait long for their food! Same time next Sunday 👍🏼

I have just been to the Brooklyn cafe for lunch and a coffee. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I had a Panini, which was over £8.00. It came on a plate with no side salad. You can order chips, etc, but that is an extra charge. The food was tasty but well overpriced for what you got as I'm still hungry. I would say my appetite is average.

Sid was the best and kept us entertained throughout our meal. He made Monica’s birthday so special!
