The best restaurants serving American food in Harrogate Yorkshire and The Humber

i’m so so sad this place has closed, me and my boyfriend had such a good meal here, everyone was friendly and the girl who made my sangria knew what she was doing having lived in portugal previously.

Outstanding food, wonderful ambience, phenomenal service and reasonably priced. We had steak and chicken, both cooked to perfection. The wine was quaffable and the beer was chilled! Would highly recommend.

Was a bit annoyed as I ordered a bottle of Pepsi max 1.5L bottle but didn’t come with my order other then that food was good

The banana milkshake was so deliciously tasty 😋. Friendly staff and the atmosphere is great. Just like an American 50's diner 🙂

I like this pub, it sells good food, has a nice atmosphere and lovely staff. Only been in early evening, but I can imagine it being a proper pub at night. Few and far between these days. Love it.

Burger didn't have the things it advertised having, very squashed,letuce was past it's best and cold. Chips cold and onion rings also cold. Very disappointed and will never order from there again!!.

Useless useless employees, food took 20 minutes, not all items were delivered, waited at counter for an additional 10, because no one is able to do their jobs. If you’re in a rush, don’t bother. Rude staff, incompetent staff, do not go if you value your time, sanity, or warm food.

We booked the Porterhouse Restaurant based on the photos on TripAdviser BUT we were extremely disappointed when we arrived at the restaurant to be told that it is no longer a Steakhouse and has not been a Steakhouse for 2 years!! We however decided to stay for dinner and my husband was pleasantly surprised by the steak. It was tender and cooked to his specification. I had the Beef, ale and mushroom pie which was a bit disappointing. The pastry was very soggy, the broccoli was so overcooked it was basically mush and the new potatoes were very overcooked. One plus was that the cutlery was presented in a sealed packet although the condiments were what we would have had on the table pre-covid. I did see a waitress wiping down the chairs and just changed the table cloth but the condiments were not wiped down If we had a choice, we would not eat here again.

Small and cosy place, we ordered with no problems at all ,as we were there a gentleman was in need of assistance and the staff were very helpfull and helped him to order . The food itself was fantastic, well prepared, and fresh. Thank you, we will be back .
